It was a fun little break from the crowds. After an early race morning and a day spent exploring Hollywood Studios, it was nice to go into the air conditioning and browse for a bit. The shop has a mix of Disney merchandise, collectibles, apparel, and souvenirs, but what I enjoyed most was simply taking my time looking around. During race weekends, the parks can feel nonstop from rope drop to fireworks, so finding a place to slow down for a few minutes was appreciated! The location for this store is right at the end of Sunset Boulevard. Between Tower of Terror looming in the background and all the energy from the attractions nearby, it feels like you're right in the middle of the action while still getting a chance to escape it for a few minutes! I also noticed quite a few runDisney participants stopping in throughout the day! Many of the racers were still wearing race shirts or medals from race earlier in the day! It was so much fun talking with some of the runners and sharing stories about the race while browsing for souvenirs and gifts!
