It's super nostalgic with souvenirs, vintage booth seating with large windows with lots of natural light, great old school music, super friendly staff, great dog park, DQ, and located in such a beautiful part of the state. Day after Christmas & traveling from Colorado Rockies to OKC. At 5:10pm, I stop to fill up & get coffee. I'm an elderly woman and didn't know how to work the electronic coffee machine at this gas station. But Joshua saw that I was having trouble and stepped from behind the counter to help me out, and made sure I got the perfect cup of coffee...people like him (an angel in diguise) are what make older folks choose OnCue!!! Well, aren't these guys just the sweetest?!? This is a great place to stop for a rest. They have showers and laundry. The bathroom was clean, even in the middle of the night. Their dog park is amazing! Almost makes me wish I had a dog. One would think that all truck stops would be friendly towards long distance drivers, regardless of what kind of vehicle they drive. Sadly, one would be wrong. Not all of them are. I don't get it, but this is the way of the world. So, I was a bit nervous when I parked here for the night. Turns out, there was no need to be nervous. The employees here are great. I went into the store and I came in right behind a woman who was walking quite speedily. The clerk looked up when she came in, smiled, and said, "Down the hall to your right." :) I went back in around midnight and the night clerk chatted with me. Classic "where you been, where you going chat." He told me to be safe and said I should feel free to grab some sleep in the parking lot, if I needed. I drive through Oklahoma several times a year and OnCue is my preferred place to stop. This location isn't like other OnCues. It was not built as one and doesn't have the amenities of the others. It is older and a little worse for wear. HOWEVER, it DOES have a dog park, showers, and laundry if you are in need of those services. And a DQ, because sometimes you just need a blizzard. Also, gas is always cheaper in Oklahoma than it is in Kansas, so if you can make it, it is worth it to wait. read more

This place is always dirty when we stop. The only reason we stop is for the dog park which is convenient for letting our dogs out. When it rains there are huge mud puddles right in front of the gate which makes it difficult to keep the dogs from getting muddy... ‍‍ The bathrooms are dirty and the stalls are meant for a toothpick! By the time you get in and slide past the toilet paper dispenser you barely have enough room to turn around and squat on the toilet... ‍ read more

OnCue rest stop in Billings, KS, is a great place to stop if you have a dog! They have a huge dog park which is divided into a small dog park and a large dog park. There are fun things for your dog to do as well as a potty station and an area for you to get fresh water at. After you have finished taking care of your dog, there is a huge convenience store with a large selection of items you may need on the road, as well as a restaurant attached with fast food. The bathrooms are usually decent every time I stop here. read more

I don't frequent this stop as often as I used to, now that I live 8 hours away, but it's a good basic stop when your travels take you down I-35 in Northern Oklahoma. In my earlier days, the main attraction for my husband and me was the attached Dairy Queen, because it was the closest DQ to our little town we lived in, and sometimes you just need a chocolate-dipped ice cream cone or an Oreo blizzard to cope with the reality of living in the rural Heartland when you're a West Coast city girl by nature... More recently, my stops have been to fuel up my car, use the restrooms and grab some cash at the ATM. Now that the On-Cue brand has taken over the station and added a dog park, I foresee this as being a mandatory stop for us, particularly when we're heading north. Kermit's comfort is generally our first priority when we road trip these days (he's a spoiled old guy these days), so it's a fantastic opportunity for him to run and play a bit of frisbee, get a drink of water and his evening meal, maybe sniff a few new dog friend's butts... It also gives the human a chance to do something besides sit face-forward with the eyes focused on the road, so it's a win/win. Stop for some photos with the giant fake dogs and your experience is complete! Happy trails!! read more

I drive from Texas to Missouri all the time and this is the only place I will ever stop forever. I love that there is a place for my dog to run around while I get gas and food. Everyone is always nice and it's perfect for my commute. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who travels frequently. I've even seen showers and laundry rooms for those traveling even further than me. Love it! read more

Neat and interesting gas station/rest area. Tons of neat stuff and foods including exotic wild bore, elk and Buffalo sausage and beef jerky as well as the normal assortments of popcorn and hot dogs and soft drinks and coffees. Theirs an awesome dog park next door as well. Definitely check that out. The staff was mediocre at best, but not bad to the point that it's an unpleasant experience. Also worth noting they had some of the cleanest restrooms I've ever seen from a gas station. And a laundry room and shower rooms for the weary traveler. read more

Oh my goodness. The bathroom for this place is very nasty. They stunk, the toilets are rickety. It was dirty, like cobweb dirty. No paper towels, but the blower worked. The overall look of this place is filthy. I did not go to the restaurant, after how everything else looked, I didn't want to risk it. They have a dog park, good for them. read more

Accidentally discovered this place when road tripping through the state with three dogs. LOVE the dog park! A dog-park-provided poo bag had a hole (ewww), but other than that, it was the perfect place to take a quick break. The park was in good shape and so well lit that we were able to use it around midnight. The water in the park was, of course, frozen in January, but I was able to get water from the fast food place there for my pups. Bathroom was nice and clean, despite the fact that a tour bus of teens was at the fast food place. Would highly recommend this as a break spot for anyone traveling with dogs! read more
