Took the 11:30a with Amber today. She is a very good teacher, keeps an eye on all the participants and motivates everyone to keep going. Studio is spotless, has a water station so you can BYOB and a small retail area. Lots of parking. Note: this is not for the faint at heart (or, muscles)! Great experience here for Pilates! I'm a newbie, basically have taken one or twice classes (the previous being solidcore the last week) and decided I wanted to have the abs of the girls I admire, who always do Pilates. I know it's a harder workout than just doing a bootcamp so I definitely want to focus more on my core and lengthening muscles like a dancer. I signed up for this class via ClassPass, as it had good reviews for beginners. Arriving the staff was very welcoming and the setup was chic and cool, and I was given an overview of the machine. The class itself was great and kicked butt as expected, and the instructor Katherine was phenomenal! I'm only slightly obsessed with One Lagree. I came because my friend recommended this "super intense pilates-ish" place that would actually make me break a sweat. Definitely checked all those boxes! This studio has ~10 megaformers in a pretty small space, one sided bordered by full-length mirrors for you to check your form (or just stare at your increasingly red and sweaty face). You need grip socks for this place, but they provide towels and water (bring a water bottle though). All of the instructors are great, but I have a special place in my heart for Jennifer E. She was the first class I took, and one of my favorite instructors! She has great personality and makes class so fun. But honestly you can't go wrong with anyone here. Take a chance on this place! You won't regret it. It's my go-to classpass option at this moment, but I especially love how many community classes they have, so you always have an opportunity to check them out :) read more

My all time favorite workout. It doesn't get better than this people!!! Parking can be a hassle but if you go to the garage behind the studio you will never have a problem! The easiest way to describe the class is "Pilates on steroids." I practiced Pilates for the better part of a year before coming here and this workout kicked my behind. I have attended classes instructed by both Mary and Kay (they are awesome)! If the moves are too advanced just let the instructors know and they can help you with adjustments to make you more comfortable. This is the one studio class where I leave legitimately feeling like I got a full body work out and don't have to go lift weights afterwards. Just a friendly reminder to bring your grip socks otherwise you will end up buying a new pair since they are required. read more

Hands down the best workout. One Lagree is one of the few dallas Pilates studios with the Lagree Reformers, it makes such a difference! Bring your grip socks, water, and patience. This class is hard!! However, the more you go and stick with it, you will see results quicker than most workouts. A big part of the work out is to have slow and controlled movements, which is hard to remember when your leg is hiked up, booty burning and you can't wait to switch to arms. One Lagree is a great workout if you make it great. It's quite difficult, but also very do-able. The instructors are helpful to new students and easy to understand. You will work muscles that have been quiet for a long time, and this will give you a wonderful sense of accomplishment. If you practice 3-4 times/week, results will come quickly. Kudos to Cody, a vibrant and encouraging new instructor, is unbeatable. He introduces himself and learns your name at the beginning of class and gets a quick picture of your Lagree experience. Newbies have no fear! No judgement here! He will loving guide you through the process and inspire you to do your best and accept yourself at your level on that day. He is one of the few people in the entire room who will actually look you in the eyes and talk with you. He is an amazing attribute to One Lagree. read more

This is my absolute favorite studio in Dallas. After one workout, I was obsessed. The studio itself is well-located, clean, and has the newest megaformers I have seen in town. Unlike some reformer classes, the instructors will come around and help with your form so you can get the most out of the class. This workout is no joke- it's a serious challenge- but will whip your body into shape. I can see my abs now! I feel accomplished when I leave each class and love that you get a full body workout in 45 minutes. Don't be intimidated- just give it a try! read more

One Lagree is perfectly situated in the Oak Lawn area of town, a lot of parking is always a plus! Studio-Has 9 Megaformer beds. Which is like a reformer on steroids because it has platforms on both the front and back of the bed. There are a few more features such as two set of handles, etc. I love these because I get a full body workout when I'm using them. I try to rotate pilates with my spin classes and this studio is challenging and motivating enough that I would come back. Workout-Reasons for docking stars, my first class the instruct went straight into a 1.5 min plank. I def needed a warm up prior to holding a plank, elbow plank, hand plank, etc. Just alittle warm up would have been nice. Additional the teacher had us on our wrist wayyyy to long. Probably an entire song, 4 minutes. It was too long. Better class flow in general, but these classes are very similar to Studio 6 with more instructor attention which I like. Correcting posture, telling us how long to hold, counting down the reps, more inline with a boutique gym. Will I be back? Yes this is a great location and this area is definitely in need of these types of boutique gyms! FYI-I took a class 2 days ago and my muscles are still killing me and I think I'm a pretty fit person. read more

Great core work out- differs from other reformer classes in that they really emphasize slow, precise movements to really exhaust those abs. I've never sweat more in a machine class! They will occasionally have free community classes where teachers in training get a chance to practice their flows. Limited amenities so plan to shower elsewhere. Also don't forget your grippy socks- they are $18 here but sometimes have spares to borrow! read more

Music was great however this is not legitimate Lagree. The class moved very fast and traditional Lagree is meant to be extremely slow movements. It was my first class and nobody welcomed me at the door. Thank god I had experience or I would have had no idea what to do. Finally, their machines are old and not nice to use. One Lagree is hands down my favorite megareformer studio in Dallas--and my overall favorite workout too! The studio is spacious and clean and the instructors are incredibly inviting and supportive. But let's discuss what really counts: the workout. I've taken other megareformer classes around Dallas--as well as in LA, Miami and NYC--and what continually impresses me at One Lagree is that the classes are always different. Those familiar with the Lagree Method know that there are only so many approved exercises. However, I have found that, at other studios, they frequently teach a limited mix of moves. This is not the case at One Lagree. I feel that the classes are more varied here than anywhere else. Moreover, all of the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and hands-on--they are excellent at correcting form. If you're looking to burn fat, increase muscle mass and work up one hell of a burn doing it, I highly recommend One Lagree. read more

Did my first class today and I was totally impressed. The team is well trained and the other class goers are super friendly. It was easy to park and sign up for the class. The machines are all new and easy to use. I couldn't do all the moves but I didn't feel awkward stopping to rest. I can already tell I'm going to be sore but in a good way. I haven't worked out in 2 years. I felt completely worked out and barley broke a sweat which was nice that I could actually go do stuff after and feel as though my body got full challenge. This is pilates on steroids-seriously! The megaformer is much harder then a reformer and as Grecia G describes it gives you that feeling where everything hurts after a workout! This is definitely one of the hardest workouts I've ever done and I've done a ton of various workouts including traditional pilates, barre, yoga, spin, crossfit, and orange theory. Studio is beautiful and instructors are very knowledgeable and help you with the moves. Definite learning curve when you first get on the machine but easy to modify moves to make things easier and harder. read more

It's Monday morning after my Sunday class with Mary - and OH MY GOOD GOLLY -MISS MARY you KICKED MY BUTT! - - I seriously have muscles that are sore that I didn't even know existed (in a good way)! LADIES - THIS IS NOT PILATES it's something SO MUCH MORE- This was an amazing workout. Music was a good level and Mary really took the time to try and assist me when I was lost. As this was my first time, I arrived early and Mary was happy to go over what to expect. We talked about the functions of the machine and the basic flow of the workout we were about to conquer. With my grip socks on, we were off - the music was pumping - instructions were clear and when I got lost or didn't understand a new transition Mary would take time to help me set myself. Her ability to manage a larger class of about 12 ppl and still feel like I had one-on-one training was very nice. Thanks for a great workout! Looking forward to seeing y'all again soon read more

I have done pilates regularly once a week for about 4 years. I was getting bored with it so I decided to give lagree a try! I was a little imitated to go into a class so I scheduled a private with Cody. He is hands down the best instructor I have ever had! After two sessions with him I am already seeing results. His energy is amazing and really motivates you!! He completely tailors your session to accommodate your needs. I have scoliosis and he has done an excellent job working around that so the movements don't hurt my back. He lets you make your own playlist which is great too! The privates are expensive but it is totally worth it!! read more

In town for work and love SPX so had to try One Lagree. Very easy to book class online. Studio is really clean with updated mega formers. Class was 45 min and very similar to the classes I take back at home in San Francisco. I was definitely sore after the first class but took another class the very next day.
