LKN Massage has a simple, utilitarian interior. Their massage rooms are larger than most and comfortable. They are one of the few places that use massage lotion (not oil), so you are not left with lots of excess oil to transfer to your clothes when you are done. Nice! While Heather specializes in neuromuscular and deep tissue massages, she did a great job giving me a light, relaxing Swedish massage. Therapists have different styles, and Heather's is one of my favorites. She spends extra time on your arms, hands, and especially your feet, forgoing the face and hair (which I never like because it makes my hair greasy). I was totally relaxed after my 90-minute massage! Once you visit, LKN Massage will add you to their "flash" sale list, where they email you openings for the next day at a discount. They also offer discounts occasionally through Groupon, Living Social, or their own website. I highly recommend giving them a try, if you haven't been before. I'll definitely be back!

I spoke with the owner and decided to make an appointment. I've had a huge amount of therapeutic treatments to help me recover from an injury I had a while back, and I have spent a good amount of money in the process. That can be pretty frustrating as you might imagine if you find yourself still in the same place after all that. When I went to Muscle RX., I worked with Courtney and then the owner Elisha on my second visit. I was so impressed with their method for reprogramming muscles and their communication with the brain. Tried this chiropractor as they had good ratings and very close to my house. They took my Medicare insurance so all I have is a small co-pay. The receptionist Darlene is so friendly and nice as is Dr Teng. He puts you on a massage table for about 10mins to loosen you up then you go into his office for the adjustments. Even being in horrible pain in any position he quickly and gently cracked my hip and my lower back felt some good relief. Went 2 times a week (my choice) and after each session I felt way better.2-1/2 weeks later I am 98% back to normal. Going to finish up with a couple of more appointments.
