Amazing customer service, cheap prices, they cleaned the stains off my 2 pants easily very quickly

The cleaners I used on Sunset Point apparently closed down so I had to find another one to get my 3 piece suit cleaned. So I sorta stumbled upon this place as I was performing other errands. It's just west of Culver's on East Bay in a very small plaza. If you sneeze, blink, fart or cough, you'll miss it. The tree line between the plaza and its neighbor doesn't help either. The cleaners itself is a no frills operation. Just a counter and all the pressing equipment in the corner. The owner is a friendly middle-aged Indian lady. So I gave her my suit and gave me a two day turn around time. That seemed pretty quick; lo and behold, in I went on the morning of day three... I gave her my ticket and less than a minute later along came my suit all nice and clean! Then she put down her copy of the ticket and said the price was $12.75. Quite frankly, I was pleasantly shocked at the fairness of the charge! No wonder there was quite a large amount of cleaned garments on the rack system!! What I can't figure out is how the lady does all this with no apparent help. Both times I went in there, she was by herself and none of the machines were being operated. Maybe she has little green men from Mars or minions from Munchkinland in the back room?? Well no matter what or who, this is a nicely priced and efficient operation. Most of the prices are listed inside the window and/or on the door. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place and have no problem giving them my future business. Even better is that they're right across the street from our veterinarian of choice AND just down the street from our normal Thursday hangout, ie Bro's Pizzeria & Bar. Today was definantly a day that caught me by surprise. My husband and I have been FAITHFUL customers with this business since 2018- each month I bring no less that 20 garments to be dry cleaned ($100+). I even take pictures of the items I drop off because I only wear Torrid and thoes of you who know, Torrid is not cheap by any means. I am saddened that you all would treat us the way you did. You would deny me writing you all a check, but have a business that only accepts cash and check and then turn to the next customer and accept his check. That's hurtful! Then you say, "What if it (the check) bounces?" Do I look like I bounce checks girl? My husband and I are well established and own several business in your same community that you are employed in. The nerve and the audacity of you! Guess what....today you have most certainly LOST one of your most loyal and faithful customers. I hope the check of that nice older white gentleman that only paid $10.90 via check doesnt bounce and cost you the $25 fee you have posted! *****update***** I called a week later as I noticed the check hadn't been cashed yet, and wanted to know why they were holding it. They said, "Is the money going to be in the account on Friday?"......The money was in the account when I wrote the check. These people are ridiculous! read more

Ok, I'm done with this place. After going here for over a year, and feeling like they were doing me a favor by doing my dry cleaning, I've had enough. I dropped off my weekly cleaning of shirts and pants, one shirt had a stain which I asked them to please remove. Upon looking them over once I got home I noticed the stain was removed, but another darker stain was on the shirt in about 2 inches about the one removed! I brought it back and told the very unpleasant cashier to please remove this stain that wasn't there in the first time. After going back a few days later she produced the shirt (it still had the stain on it) without any explanation. I complained that the stain was still there. She then told me that I must have put it there. I assured her that's the way I received it. She basically told me I was a liar. So be forewarned, stay away from this store!! I'll take my $100.00+ a month cleaning to another establishment. read more

Good quality work on site, and moderately priced. The only problem with them is that they only take cash. Appears to be family-owned.

I've been here about three times now and I haven't yet had the experience that the previous reviewer had. But then again, I haven't been a patron for a year, yet. I used to go to the $1.99 Cleaners on Gulf to Bay but due to the congestion over there, I found coming to this location just made more sense. I can tell their employees are usually tired or worn but that aside, they haven't been unfriendly to me. They may manage a weak smile and then go about their business. I don't take that personally at all. I will continue to come back since I've been happy with their work so far. read more

My husband & I switched from a high end dry cleaner locally to this dry cleaner about 2 years ago. I was initially worried about the level of care our clothes would receive. But, I was more than a little surprised!! They have in almost all cases out performed our previous dry cleaner!! In addition, I must speak up for the ladies on the front desk. They are lovely people and have been more than kind to me. I have some difficulty walking and by my third/fourth trip in to their facility they would run out to take my dry cleaning bags from me so they could carry in and the same on the way out. I recently moved here and went to have my down comforter dry cleaned. The place had no AC and the person working the counter reeked of body odor. Not friendly or polite at all; I said hello first. She told me that it would take four days to clean. She took my number down and gave me a ticket. By the fourth day she didn't call me. Then on the fifth day didn't call me either, so I called them. She told me it was ready. I drive down there. She still reeked of B.O. and still had awful customer service. No smiles no hello. I pay her the forty dollars. My comforter is wrapped tightly in a plastic bag. I immediately smell something fowl--my comforter. I open the bag. Its the same smell as when you accidentally leave your laundry in the washer for a few days without drying it-- moldy sock smell. The comforter was still damp. I assume that they didn't let it dry and just shoved it into a bag for four days. Now I had to take it to another dry cleaner place. They were horrified at my story. I would ask for my money back but I don't ever want to set foot in that crusty place again. Don't ever go there. read more

I've been coming here for about a year but I just can't anymore. They only button the top button which means that the rest of the shirt just opens up and gets wrinkly underneath. They also do this weird thing where they clip the shirts to the board so you have to tell them to not use the clip because otherwise they also create another wrinkle where The clip is. So today they use the clip and they button the top button so when I complained about it because I said to not to, she told me, this is what we do for everyone. so what you're telling me is you give everyone a wrinkled shirts? No accountability or resolution. Am I being unreasonable and thinking that if I pay money I should get a shirt with absolutely no wrinkles? read more

First thing first.... The price is not 1.99 (since nov of 2015) But this place is way cheaper then other dry cleaners. This place isn't fancy but they are more then efficient. The employees aren't over friendly but my clothes always look great when I get home. Be brought over 60 pieces to this dry cleaner in over the last 6 months with no problems ( other then the first time they gave me the wrong clothes, and insisted the clothes were mine...lol). They take cash or checks... No credit cards... So be prepared for that ....I'll definitely be back with my next batch of work clothes .... read more

Don't take your drapes here. Charged $2.00 per pleat but did not press pleats back in. By condition in which we got them back, drapes were laundered not dry cleaned. Material all puckered and bunched together on one side. Drapes were still damp. Wasted $40 and a set of good drapes. Seems like quality of other work has gone down hill too. Don't waste your money or risk your goods. Rip off. read more
