Good evening everyone. Finally getting around to posting this review. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Met with the contractor and discussed the project. Contractor informed me he would be at a conference in Las Vegas and would provide me with a proposal within two weeks after he returned[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Waited a number of weeks and was only able to talk to the contractors assistant to ask for an ETA on the proposal. No ETA was provided and the contractor never called me to discuss anything after our original meeting[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Truthfully I have no problems if a company is not interested and would rather not take on a potential project. My problem with this particular contractor is their communication was sub par at best[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If they were not interested they should have said this was the case and not have me follow up for several weeks after our meeting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cannot really comment on value or quality as we never made it that far but providing a proposal in a timely manner with good communication is an important first step that never happened.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Trying to be fair here but they really need to improve in this area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more

They were hired by Terminix to repair a slab they broke and somehow made everything worse. One guy sat down the whole time while the other did a lazy job, they look and act like the 1st home alone robbers... Here's what we dealt with: * Did a lazy, mismatched patch job that looks nothing like the original stamped concrete * Didn't even bother painting the concrete the 2nd time and just left * Had to come back because the first attempt was so sloppy * Painted only 1/4 of our white pool deck in an ugly beige color we never approved * Told us to "just finish the rest ourselves" * Got beige paint all over our walls because they didn't use painter's tape * We had to buy supplies and fix the mess ourselves The end result? It looks like some rushed DIY project from someone who doesn't care. I could've hired two guys from a Home Depot parking lot and gotten better results. Unprofessional, careless, and absolutely unacceptable. Do not trust this company with any work on your home you'll end up cleaning up after them and paying for it yourself. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We completed a home improvement project with One Stop Construction which was an exceptional experience from start to finish.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Work included Ceiling Popcorn Removal, tile demolition and installation of new tiles (whole house) and master bath renovation. The given timeline was 60 days, but was completed in 35 days (10/20/2025 thru 11/24/2025). Each crew member were timely and cleaned up every evening. They were very respectful of their employer and were passionate about the work they do. I would recommend One Stop to anyone who are looking for high-quality and professional work. Unlike other companies who usually have one person doing everything, One Stop Remodeling has a team of tradesmen who specialize in plumbing, electrical, framing, tile work, etc., so each part of the job is done perfectly. After meeting and going back and forth over the contract, Jesus General Contractor, deeply disappointed me regarding the development of my project with explanation as to what purpose he chose not to do my project, as a result, have caused significant delays to the project. This decision has not only disrupted my plans but has also put me in a challenging position. I must emphasize the importance of effective communication in any business relationship. It is disappointing that no explanation has been provided for his sudden withdrawal, leaving me in the dark about the reasons behind this action. As a professional in his field, I had expected better conduct and transparency from him and his team. His failure to meet what we agreed upon has not only caused inconvenience but has also raised doubts about his reliability and professionalism. I made calls and emails for clarification on the contract before signing so that anything in it is transparent as to my expectations and his as well so that we both are comfortable with working together. Months of clarifying the conditions of the contract and requesting a payment structure, I had to make a decision and explained why, however, he gave no reasons for his withdrawal or clarity of his decision. I cannot emphasize the level of disappointment & distrust this has caused me. In this GC business, this seems to happen way too often without any accountability or commitment by the GC's. I am not an expert in this field so I always consult legal and professional advice before signing contracts to avoid any financial loss for myself OR the GC/company as I did in a previous project by another GC. read more

We hired OSC for an addition to our home. Immediately after signing and paying our first payment, we lost communication with the owner ( no answers to texts, emails, phone calls). His permit runner made a ton of simple mistakes that I as a first-time homeowner am still paying for. When I asked the owner why so many months would go by with no response from the permit runner, why so many mistakes delaying the process were being made, he insulted me and my husband calling us names and refusing to complete the process. It is now 1.5 years later and the city of miami is still finding mistakes his permit runner made - missing engineering pages that were completed but not uploaded, missing categories for review when submitting plans etc. A project that should have taken 6 months tops has now tripled in time due to these mistakes. We spoke to two other companies who moved our project along in different phases and the experience was night and day. read more
