You know how you find yourself taking a way home you've never taken before? And it's in the middle…read moreof a snowstorm? No, you haven't? Well I have. I took the advice of my father to take a "safer" way home while coming back from an out of town trip. Here's a tip, in the digital age, sometimes Google outweighs a father's advice. While taking the father suggested route I needed gas before I got home. Being on a road I had no idea where it was going to take me I literally pulled into the first gas station that I saw along the road. That brings us to here. I pulled in and because of the snow the lot is a slip sliding mess. Gas pricing was your basic Pennsylvania pricing. Then you go inside. I'm not sure what to make of the inside here. It's so many things crammed into one small space. I couldn't even focus. I went and got myself a drink and then to the counter. This has to be a place in this small town that everyone knows everyone, whether you like it or not. The kid working the counter talked to everyone that came in. I finally got my drink and cigarettes and ran out the door. Not that I didn't want to be here, it was just so busy inside.

If you need one day or several nights it's quiet and affordable. They serve food in house or available for takeout. Great pizza. The Beer Cave was fully stocked with a load of domestic and imports. A selection of beers is available for in house consumption or grab a six pack or case to take home or back to your room. The gaming area has over a 100 instant tickets to choose from along with skill games. Most importantly the rest rooms are clean. Located in the small town of Berlin.

Recently this place changed ownership. Once called Mack's Mini Mart, One Stop came in and claimed…read morethis spot and re-branded it. They have changed a few things about this spot, some for the better, some for the worse. The one huge improvement they have made is the fact that you can now pay at the pump. Prior to the changeover you had to guess-timate how much gas your car would take. Under shoot that amount and you don't get a full tank. Over shoot that amount and you had to walk back in for a refund of the difference. I was so happy to see this change as it reduced the amount of time I had to spend getting gas. Another change is that they have an expanded menu of made to order food. I cannot speak of the food as I have never had a chance to partake in any of it. I only know of this because of the bright-as-the-sun new sign they have out front. It nearly blinds you with the announcement of the deals for the day. Huge, huge negative here, the gas. I'm not sure where they get their gas from, but it is not the best out there. For me, travelling is a big part of my day, and I usually depend on a good gasoline. You think that you are getting a good deal here as it is usually the cheapest gas around for a while. Always a few cents cheaper than the Sunoco up the street, and nearly ten cents cheaper than any other gas station around. But, to me, this is a facade. I filled my gas tank up and headed on my way. Usually when I do this I can make my round trip to work and back on a little over an eighth of a tank of gas. However the day I stopped here, it took a half of tank of gas for the same travel. There were no side trips, no detours, just the same route I take daily for work. I doubt I will stop here again unless I am made aware of a change is gasoline supplier. If I am going to throw money away, I can find better places to do so rather than a gas station.

Go Moore Store is basically a replacement for the once nearby Davidsville Fuel. And I have to say…read morethat it is a great upgrade from what was offered before. The building offers more space for what was all being offered at the original location. I applaud them for doing this as it is a much better location that allows for everything they have to offer. This is located right off Route 219, when going north and you exit at Davidsville you are basically right in front of this after you exit. Great location for all travelers. They offer fuel for everyday vehicles and fuel for the many trucks that pass through the area. Inside is a mix or ideas that all somehow work together. The store itself offers many different services. There is fresh made food and deli items available at the counter. There is also ready made food in coolers to grab to ebb your hunger. The offer an array of convenience items to grab and go. Also offered is a limited variety of groceries. You can make this a one stop shop if you want. Grab your milk, eggs, bread, frozen items, seasonings, meats, snacks, condiments, etc. They also offer beer, so if that is your need, you can get it here. They offer PA Skill Games if you want a distraction. There is a small dine in area if you want to eat while here. In all honesty, this was greatly needed in this area. It offers something that you would have to travel a ways to get. There is no real grocery store in the area and this fills that void a bit. On that honesty kick here, their food, being made fresh, is really good. Great place to grab your lunch for your workday or a quick dinner at home.
