Good food at a good price. We went for breakfast and the portion sizes were perfect. We are going back for dinner tonight

    Holy $10 worth of wings!!!!

I have never been so happy my son had to stop and use the restroom, otherwise we would have flown right by. The pizza rolls were great, the beans magnificent, and the size and quality of wings I got put other restaurants to shame. Oh yeah, it was also a great deal, AND ITS IN A GAS STATION!!!!

    Kids' "Meal"

We've eaten here many, many times. We could always count on a great meal. Since it's under new ownership (for about the past year), every visit has gotten worse. We will not be back. On a previous visit, the food wasn't bad, but the service was a very bizarre experience with a combination of insults and complaining from the server. On our most recent visit, the food took a very long time, our drinks were not refilled, the meals all arrived at different times, and my food was cold. The icing on the cake was the last "meal" to arrive. My nephew ordered the kids' meal of macaroni and cheese. It was served as one scoop in a tiny plastic bowl like the ones we were served stewed tomatoes in at the elementary school cafeteria. It was $4 for that tiny side-dish portion! Also, our salads came out along with the meals. We ended up taking the salad home. The server was friendly enough, but he did not seem to have experience working in a restaurant, or eating at a restaurant for that matter. Finally, the food is not as good as it's always been. My sandwich had little squares of meat that I was unsure about. My advice... keep driving about a mile in either direction to find something better!

Jeff, the owner is often found circulating amongst each table asking how everything was.

Being 2:30 am, and needing gas and a pitstop; this was about the only option available, before returning to the toll road. Overall the facility was a decent choice. Though presenting as a bit of a sketchy location (especially, that time of night); the store and restrooms were clean enough. And, the staff were friendly and attentive. All and all, this establishment served its purpose for our needs.

Basically what I am saying is Turkey Hill is a rare occurrence in southwestern Pennsylvania, but because of the Turnpike, Somerset is fortunate enough to have one. The lot just happens to be located at a fairly good spot in terms of the Turnpike. It literally can be either your first or last stop when in Somerset. As far as gas prices they are competitive with other gas stations in the area. Inside, it feels a little bland and jam packed. When I say bland I mean there is nothing flashy in here, it feels like things are just thrown in as place keepers. It somewhat feels unfinished. The jam packed part comes from how things are set up. The register only offers a small space to stand. At least the one they used when I was in here. The biggest thing about here is the noise level. Yes, it can be quiet, but only as quiet as the employees allow it to be. I understand about having a conversation, but when you are screaming it across the store, it's a little off putting for your customers. I ended up leaving here with a headache and the few items I selected from the store.

I took the advice of my father to take a "safer" way home while coming back from an out of town trip. Here's a tip, in the digital age, sometimes Google outweighs a father's advice. While taking the father suggested route I needed gas before I got home. Being on a road I had no idea where it was going to take me I literally pulled into the first gas station that I saw along the road. That brings us to here. I pulled in and because of the snow the lot is a slip sliding mess. Gas pricing was your basic Pennsylvania pricing. Then you go inside. I'm not sure what to make of the inside here. It's so many things crammed into one small space. I couldn't even focus. I went and got myself a drink and then to the counter. This has to be a place in this small town that everyone knows everyone, whether you like it or not. The kid working the counter talked to everyone that came in. I finally got my drink and cigarettes and ran out the door. Not that I didn't want to be here, it was just so busy inside.

The gaming area has over a 100 instant tickets to choose from along with skill games. Most importantly the rest rooms are clean. Located in the small town of Berlin.
