This is one of the better hot yoga studios in the valley, in my opinion. One Tribe has been a round since 2018, and they offer a lot of different services in addition to yoga such as massages, cupping and FST to name a few! Emma and Elise were both helpful in checking me in. There are multiple bathrooms and one shower here to use. Lots of cubbies to put your belongings into. The studio is beautiful and relaxing, you can tell it's been well maintained! I signed up for the introductory offer which was two class for $20. You have 2 weeks to use the classes. I ended up taking Jason's hot vinyasa classes both times, one of which was a 75 minute class. Jason is very helpful when it comes to hitting the poses correctly and with good form. He is also very motivating and pushes you to try your absolute best! I felt great after both classes and highly recommend trying them out! I will definitely be back here for more classes and hopefully a massage too. read more

Ive been practicing yoga for 25 years, yea, I ain't no spring chicken and I know when I experience a good studio and instruction. This place gets 4 stars and one star deducted because I had some trouble with the hot vinyasa class today. Read on and I'll explain. Jason, the owner, is really nice and I thought he truly embodies yoga philosophy. He definitely provided a lot of great lessons in his class today, so I really appreciated that. My challenge is that he went thru a few difficult sequences with us and then gave us free time to flow. I, for some reason, just blanked on the sequence as I realize I do need some simple cues to move me thru the entire sequence. It was fine, and I just flowed in the way my body wished, but I guess, I was looking for a little more instruction. Now, I know what to expect, so I'll be better able to freestyle next time. I didnt entirely love all the music choices, but it worked for a pretty intense, sweaty class! This is a gorgeous studio and I loved the design as everything was in darker hues so during savasana, the room almost was completely dark. They have a few bathrooms, so that's nice and also one shower room. The lobby is well organized with also a central bench so people can sit and wait until the next class starts or chill out after their class. There are also two massage rooms here and very beautiful. This plaza is always busy, with Ghost Ranch here and Landis Bike shop too. Parking lot is tight. If you're a new student, they offer 2 classes for $20 and that's a great deal! Even minus the special, I can see myself coming here as this place is super close to me. I also haven't practiced Mysore in a long time and would love to get back into that again. I've known Kerri & Jason almost 10 years. I followed them from LifeTime when they opened their own studio six years ago. It's important to note how much I enjoyed Kenlynn's classes and the studio during this six years. I rarely went to Jason's classes because he feels it's acceptable to use music with the "n" word in lyrics. I avoided his class as a result. FOR SIX YEARS! Unfortunately when the leader incorporates this kind of music his disciples will follow. This is concerning since they also provide a Yoga Teacher Training course several times a year putting more instructors into the community with their lack of understanding of the problem. Over a 60 day period three different instructors have used music with those lyrics in their studio. The last time it occurred was after I had sent an email to J&K asking them to ban music with the "n" word as I find it not at all conducive to a mind body workout, as yoga is. I also indicated I find the word quite repulsive and it completely removes me from the peaceful state of zen I'm trying to reach. It took them two full days to get back to me, and the conversation with K indicated no apology nor commitment to considering a music policy banning the word. When the third instructor used a song with those lyrics I had no choice but to walk out in middle of class, and never return again. I sent a second email to J&K and was told no, they wouldn't consider such a policy and as a matter of fact had no conversations with their instructor's about my complaint. Kerri even went as far to tell me how I shouldn't be offended, the word is now in vogue according to a NY Times article. That's pretty offensive. Jason told me what about those black artist, don't they have a right to make money. Again proving his cluelessness with not only racism but the music industry. Artists don't make money off your downloads you use in class. He even went as far to say he wouldn't censor an instructors right to use motivating music. Excuse me! Their total lack of understanding of racism and discriminatory behavior is in contradiction with their brand. We all can't be one tribe, one race, we're all human, if you are continuing to degrade the black race. And as one of a handful of black members, you should be ashamed to call yourself OneTribe. This review is written with mixed emotions as I truly loved going to their studio, but their white perspective of the word is hindering their ability to see clearly. I will never return to this yoga community I built over last ten years at a time I needed it most with the passing of my 40 yo daughter. I trust if you are black, or offended by their behavior, you choose another yoga studio to spend your money. read more

STAY AWAY ....... The worst yoga experience I've ever had. The other reviews are true Jason plays music with derogatory language.. it's very true that the music we listen to influences the way we are I experience this today with Jason. After taking one of his classes, which I'm not sure if he even practices yoga himself or just teaches due to his teaching style.. shouting out at us over his offensive music 6-8 posters without giving us a few breaths to really feel the pose we're in and then leaving the next few minutes for us to take on our own. Feels rushed and sloppy you're not with us in the class guiding with the breath. Almost like you don't do yoga yourself. I was taking a few breaths waiting for our next flow since I decided to sit one of them out due to my hip injury Jason didn't like that I wanted to sit out got down in my face and asked me why I wouldn't follow him even though he left the next few minutes for us to flow on our own. I told him I had a hard time with his music and he said I need to breath deeper. I walked out never in my 8 years practicing have I done that. I feel very uncomfortable and this is a women owned business? Why is there men in here making women feel uncomfortable in a safe space. read more

Best yoga studio and massage ever- and I've tried quite a few! Since I first stepped through the doors of One Tribe, I instantly felt a wave of peace and comfortability that made me feel right at home. Just the smells alone of the lobby are enough to want to come in! Every face you see has a smile, which I think is so important when showing up to a space that is held for yoga and massage. Those at the front desk are very welcoming and accommodating, which instantly puts me at ease. Coming to a yoga studio can be daunting at times, but at One Tribe you feel comfortable and welcomed instantly. I find myself being scared of judgement or inexperience, but that doesn't exist here. All classes that I have taken have been absolutely wonderful, and one of my favorite aspects of this studio is the lack of judgement and variety of classes offered. Another one of the biggest aspects of One Tribe that I have noticed is the fact that there are no mirrors within the studio. This helps me to not constantly stare at myself, comparing to others, and allows me to truly drop in to my practice. Yin and hot vinyasa are my two personal favorites, even though they are on opposite ends of the spectrum. All teachers I've had for Yin classes here have held such a warm space for you to just melt into your practice. With all of the props offered by the studio, I find myself just as cozy and relaxed as I would be at home! You can really tell that there is so much intention and care put into every aspect of the class and studio. Hot vinyasa is one of the hardest things I have ever done, which is exactly why I keep coming back. Also, the fact that they use infrared heat panels to heat the studio, so it's a sort of two birds one stone situation. To have the ability to push your body to an edge that you didn't think was possible is an almost addicting feeling. All hot vinyasa teachers here are able to take you right to your edge, hold you there, and then soften that edge throughout the class. I recommend these classes to anyone I talk to, and it's always so much fun to bring those you love to the tribe! Another thing to love about One Tribe is their massage and wellness side of the business. I have gotten several massages at resorts or other massage businesses, but I can confidently say that the best massage I have ever had is at One Tribe. The things that these massage therapists are able to accomplish in just 60 minutes is astounding. The level of professional composure and empathetic service is something that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Each birthday, father's day, mother's day, basically any holiday, I get massage gift cards from here for those I love, and they just keep coming back as well! The overall community I have been able to find here has been the most unique thing that sets One Tribe apart from all other yoga studios. To be able to walk in for your yoga class and see familiar smiling faces who know your name and story is one of the most heartwarming experiences. It just adds to the overall ambience of the business which you really feel is there to serve you and those in the community. What a beautiful studio! I came in on a Monday morning for a warm yin class and was greeted with calming scents of incense and eucalyptus. If you are sensitive to smells, this studio is likely not for you. Parking was a breeze in the large lot, and there were specific spaces reserved for students for when the area gets busier. Check-in was easy on the iPad and there is lots of space for your personal belongings to sit in a cubby during class. The room is dark and there are no mirrors, so you can really focus on your movement and breath. I felt really welcome for my first time and was offered a lot of hands-on adjustments, which I enjoy. Took my first class today! 60 minute vinyasa flow. First off, the studio is so clean, modern and calming. Second, If you forgot your mat they won't charge you to borrow one. The staff were so genuine and didn't try to sell you on anything. The class was my favorite hot yoga class I've taken. The moves were so intentional and challenging, yet not completely overwhelming. I started practicing here in August of 2019. The minute I walked through the door I felt welcomed. Every time I practiced people would introduce themselves and include me in conversations. Every teacher is kind, knowledgeable and encouraging. I feel very much a part of the Tribe. As we entered into a different environment that included shelter in place orders, Jason and Kerri quickly adapted and found a way to keep us as connected as possible. One Tribe Yoga is my new home away from home, and the Hot Vinyasa classes are my favorite. This is not a "typical" yoga class where you just stretch and bend a little, and you walk out with perfect hair and make-up. I am talking about dripping sweat and having my muscles feel fatigued and really spent after an hour. These classes are a true feat of strength (who knew holding a Warrior Two could cause you to shake so much) and sometimes there is even a cardio element snuck in to them (mountain climbers, bicycle crunches) where your heart rate really gets up and racing. The last five minutes or so usually transitions to some deep, Yin stretching, which helps balance it out and really prepare you for the well-deserved Savasana at the end. Even though these classes are so intense, the teachers are excellent about helping to modify so that both beginners and more seasoned athletes can be comfortably challenged, regardless of their level of fitness. One of the things I love about One Tribe is how "inside" myself I get... There are no mirrors in the studio, which is different, but I really like - it helps me to really focus on how I "feel" as opposed to how I look. The music is awesome- loud, lots of beats and definitely not what I have seen in other yoga studios. Some even affectionately call it "Hip Hop Yoga." For me, music is huge and such an important part of my workout, especially when it gets challenging, and this studio nails it. Conversely, even though much of my experience here is so introspective, there is also this tremendous sense of community. Before and after class, people are often hugging their hello's, laughing and sharing with one another, and making new friends and faces feel welcome. I really love that about One Tribe - it feels so inclusive and like a family, or a "tribe," if you will. Everyone there- teachers and students alike- really embodies their tag line: "Come as you are." All of the teachers that I have had have been amazing. I love supporting a small business, and especially a husband/wife/dog team. (Jira, the "Yoga Dog," is often greeting guests at the studio.) They have a lot of different styles of classes (Yin, Deep Stretch, Ashtanga even!) so there is something for everyone. If you're looking for a challenging but fun experience, check this studio out! I scheduled a massage for a Saturday at 430. Which was an amazing appointment for me being an out of towner. Unfortunately my original gal called out due to a sore throat but I was accommodated with a new gal. Kudos to the studio for one letting their employees be sick, and for communicating with me that there would be someone knew. They said her name was Barbara, although I never actually caught it. HER massage was amazing. She took the time to focus on my poor back. Even ran over time. I appreciated her so much. I did the hot yoga the next day with Jason. I felt so revitalized and limber. It was so fun and inviting to go into a brand new studio. His class worked everything and his motivation is uncanny. I wish I lived in the valley so I could be a permanent member. read more

One word to describe this space is AMAZING. The owners are a husband and wife duo and they are the absolute best! They not only teach a kick butt yoga class, but they are massage therapists too!! All the classes I have taken thus far have been fabulous!
