Such an awesome studio! The Foundry is seriously one of my favorite finds. They offer an amazing variety of classes -- yoga, Pilates, HIIT, and even Bikram -- so there's always something to fit your mood or energy level. The schedule is super flexible, which makes it easy to squeeze in a class no matter how busy your week gets. All of the instructors are fantastic -- encouraging, knowledgeable, and each brings their own unique style to class. I also love that they have plenty of community options if you just want to try it out before committing. And bonus: they're on ClassPass if you're not ready for a full membership! I've been a yoga junkie for over 2 decades and really enjoy a nice sweaty, stretchy class whenever I get the chance to practice. I'm also a cheapskate and was able to score a free week here as it was a social media special. I'm always a sucker for free yoga classes! I came tonight and took a hot flow class and it was a very solid class. In fact, most of the classes I have taken at the Foundry across the Valley have all been solid and very good. I'm surprised I haven't joined yet but I already have 3 other wellness/ fitness memberships so I gotta slow my roll here. There's only so many days in a week to practise yoga haha! I really enjoyed tonight's class, it wasn't too hot but I definitely was soaked in sweat! All the sequences were great and the flow was very good, just loved how solid the class was! Locker room is nice, ample self locking lockers, showers available, tampons and hair ties all available. There is also a draft water machine that pours out cold water. And tonight, I forgot a plastic bag to pace my drenched yoga apparel and they have a plastic bag stash for people like me! I'll definitely be back here again! Love that there are quite a few locations throughout the Valley too! One of the best in the Valley! Come here to detox, get a good sweat on, your body will love you fot it! read more

My friend had some extra passes so I got to tag along to a hot yoga class! The studio is very clean and organized and I got checked in right away. The studio was packed, it seemed almost completely full so I was glad I signed up a few days prior. I don't know how often they fill up. I really enjoyed the flow and the instructor utilized the entire hour. I was ready for shavasana at the end haha. It definitely is HOT though, I think the temperature was around 102 which is a bit hotter than my preference, but I don't normally go to hot yoga. read more

First time trying a class here and it was amazing. Nice receptionists, everything was very clean and organized. Loved how bright the room is with all the mirrors. Our instructor was wonderful and the people taking the class were of all levels of experience and welcoming. The class was a good hot yoga, definitely got our sweat on. Everything started and ended it on time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there's no music. Not sure if that's their vibe there, if that was the instructor's choice, or if it wasn't working but I'm going to another class tomorrow so I'll see. read more

Tried a Hot Barre class via ClassPass and had so much fun checking out this studio! I've done hot yoga before so this was a nice change-up and I really appreciated the challenge of working my muscles in small ranges of motion (lots of tiny pulses!). The music was good and the instructor was very positive and encouraging. The cherry on top was the good boy guard dog :) Will definitely be back to check out other classes! read more

The OG 90 min 26/2 without music & set dialogue is still my go to when I want to sweat and decompress all at the same time! Barre and Pilates are a great complement to the yoga classes. Lauren, Beto and Erin lead a great barre class! Prepare to work! It's a rewarding 45 min class. It's a honor and privilege to take a class with Cintra so definitely do that if you're already familiar with the Bikram 90 min discipline! It has been a minute since I have attended a class at The Foundry, but i have had various punch cards and monthly memberships in the past. I really enjoyed the various classes and practices held at this location. The studio itself is not large, and they only offer one class at a time, but the room does accommodate a good group size and leaves a comfortable amount of space for practice. I also love the touch of the twinkle lights! I loved the variety of class options, from barre to HITT to various flows. The studio was lovely, comfortable and offered simple amenities in the bathrooms. There is no additional work out space or gym offerings, but the robust class schedule offers plenty to work with. They offer a variety of class options, from single day class passes, punch cards, X number of visits per month, unlimited, annual and everything in between. The reason I did not continue visiting them, was primarily the cost for the membership. Though I do think there is a good value, especially for their variety of classes and quality. If you are eligible for a special promotion or discount. then even better! I prefer to have a bit of all the offerings in a gym (Ex cardio machines, class offerings, weights, etc.) though, which is why I decided to visit periodically instead of invest in a membership long term. Other things to note, they have ample parking, as it is as Mesa Riverview and also have a small offering of fitness goodies for sale! The new renovations are amazing! It's quite a vibe upon entrance, and I really love what they have done with the space! Beautiful wood flooring, new paint, and an awesome new designs throughout the whole entire studio. Aesthetically pleasing to the mind body and soul! Ellen is the best! And Jen and Jazzy! They are amazing!! Yall rock my socks to the max, and you too Trevor!! Thank you for being so supportive while at the same time uplifting. I really enjoy Lindsay's classes and Erin. I remember going to their classes back at the Tempe Bikram studio! ** the bikram yoga-- err I mean 90 minute hot yoga class. Here at the Foundry , they specifically cater to each individuals needs. I took a class with an instructor who wasn't very welcoming, brittany. I stopped twice during the workout, because I started to get dizzy and genuinely felt like I was going to faint. I just got over really bad pneumonia and I was hospitalized, and hadn't worked out in a couple weeks. I regularly workout, so my stopping wasn't me not trying. at the end during stretches (in which I was FULLY doing the stretches?) I guess her anger about me stopping came to a head. she said to me, staring at me in the most condescending way, "girl if you can do one side you can do the other" with an eye roll, on the mic, in-front of the whole class. again, I was doing the stretches so it didn't make sense to make that comment at that moment. lucky for her, I don't let mean people stop me from doing what I need to do for myself. I'm not going to risk injuring myself to spend another 3 weeks at the hospital to feed your ego, "girl". I know she waited to say that, because the two times I stopped during the workouts, she looked at me with the most disgusted look on her face. is this not a class dedicated to people finding health and wellness? why would someone not handle people with care, because also there are first timers! I worry for them and if it's your first time I would NOT recommend. especially seeing previous comments about instructors pushing injured people to their limits. extremely ridiculous, I guess this is what happens when you hire mean girls who make this their entire personality. people PAY for these classes, I'm sure they're trying their best. I've been to multiple establishments around the valley, honestly probably every single one at least once. never have I ever experienced that, instructors at other locations encourage you to stop if you can't continue, or take a break. BECAUSE AGAIN YOU DONT KNOW WHAT SOMEONE FEELS INSIDE THEIR BODY! one of your instructors clearly in the comments below, made someone's injury worse through peer pressure. and to the manager or whatever in the comments replying back "we hire nothing but the most compassionate people" clearly not. and you didn't even address that woman's injury being exasperated due to your staff. I have to believe this is a studio full of strange people. I will never come here again. read more

I love all of the classes, the people are very friendly including the front desk and the instructors. It's been a great experience! Super awesome that they offer student discounts as well, as a nursing student I am stressed and on a budget but this is so good for my mental health and physical health! Highly recommend. read more

The best yoga studio! I discovered the Foundry when I first moved to AZ and haven't wanted to take fitness classes anywhere else since. They offer classes for everyone - hot yoga, pilates, barre, HIIT, yin yoga, etc. and give options for easier or harder modifications to allow the practice to be what you really want it to be. The teachers are the BEST and the community is absolutely amazing. There are always fun monthly challenges that are motivating to complete and have prizes at the end. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone! read more

I drove all the way from fountain hills to attend a class here it is in a big shopping complex so I had a hard time finding it. I parked at 5:01 and waited outside since it said studio closed on door. Someone came to door and they informed me I could not join the class late. I explained to them this was my first time here and I had trouble finding them and apologized for being late. I wish they would of made an exception because it took me over 40 minutes to drive here. I can't review on class quality, but I really felt no empathy from instructors and felt I was treated unfair. I have been to many hot yoga studios with my class pass and felt so very welcomed and included. If you go here don't be even 1 minute late or they won't let you attend class. I could understand if I was a member, but being new and not sure where studio was this has really tainted my experience with this place. Yoga should be about free spirit, understanding and love. I felt none of that here. read more

This is one of my favorite places to go to for a stress release. However the sensitive phone policy has created a bad experience for me. If you have to start being rude about it put a sign on the doors in the studio along with your website! within 5 seconds of David walking into the class, the guy said hello and attacked me for being on my phone! I was not given the opportunity to turn my phone off before class starts like I always do!!! The experience was so embarrassing I chose to leave the class. Take a chill pill because it's honestly not that serious! I would understand if I was on my phone during the actual poses or physically distracting someone by recording! I'm highly offended. read more

Updated review as I've been coming regularly with moving back to AZ and all the COVID stuff: The studio has adjusted beautifully to the covid safety precautions. I feel safe practicing here (safer than going to the grocery store). The teachers continue to be excellent and give verbal adjustments versus physical ones now. The studio is super clean and has a great community. I look forward to more classes being added back into the schedule post covid / when it makes sense for them to do so :) read more

I've been going here for a little over 2 months now and enjoy my time there. Ive had classes with a few different teachers and enjoyed each of them. Jeremy and Audrey are my favorite though. Jeremy really pushes me out of my limits and Audrey keeps class fun (and hard). The studio is always clean, which is a big plus! read more

Clean establishment with nice locker room with a filtered water system for fill up before or after class, I thought was a thoughtful touch. I purchased a Groupon for the Foundry and I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I am a yoga instructor myself and I have visited dozens of studios in the area and in other states, but the Mesa location of the Foundry is one of the worst I've tried. I am going to try their other locations, but the Mesa studio smells terrible for one thing, as if they've never once cleaned the carpets (I know carpet is standard for Bikram, but I find hard floors to be much more hygienic.) I also found the instructors to be condescending, overly aggressive and willing to outright embarrass students who are struggling, rather than offer adjustments or modifications (the instructor stopped the class to ask me in front of everyone how many Bikram classes I had taken because I could not perform a certain pose that aggravated a prior injury.) I know that this is more typical for Bikram and my experience is primarily in heated Vinyasa classes, but I still think that it is both dangerous and unfair to students who want to improve their practice. They also don't play music in any of their classes, including Barre, which I found bizarre and made the class feel way longer than it was. Overall, I definitely would not recommend this studio for beginners or for anyone looking for a welcoming, relaxing environment. read more

Like others have mentioned, it's a new studio, so it has yet to completely reek of disgusting sweatiness and BO. there are several large showers, and the locker room is nice and clean. the teachers are all wonderful, attentive, and encouraging, which is great. the biggest drawback is dealing with new students who don't know correct etiquette - such as DO NOT enter late and then take your time setting up your mat/towel and then run in and out during intro breathing, don't line your mat up DIRECTLY behind another person, etc. aside from that, I've mostly had a great experience here. my fave teachers are jackie and heidi. just be prepared to have your feet walked on during savasana! read more

The best bikram yoga studio I have ever been to, and I have been to a few in different states as well. It is relatively new,& so is in perfect condition. You havta come here and experience it yourself. The staff and teachers are excellent and I see quite a few from bikram Phoenix in fact. The best part is this place isn't really crowded, the studio is relatively big, maybe the word ain't out far about it yet and also maybe since its on dobson in Mesa? Anyway, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else read more
