I have heard nothing but horror stories about this place. I heard from multiple I know they have…read moregotten their dresses weeks some days before they needed it. Most recently my close friend got her dress for her daughters wedding under 3 weeks before the wedding already needing alterations as the dress was coming in a little big for her as she is petite. The dress was ordered in February was supposed arrive in May got here in July. When her dress finally arrived after MONTHS of anxiously waiting it came in a size 8. They apologized and offered to do the alternations however we have already heard of a list of problems coming from alterations worst being burn marks to an overseas gown. Thankfully she got alterations else where she was not offered any money off the dress and was told she already saved $100 because the store spent it to get her size (that she didn't even receive). She looked beautiful in the dress after alterations but after the experience it was hard to love her dress she spent a good fortune on. Moral of the story order your dress a year in advance or maybe look else where I hope that the store owner can learn from these experiences and do better.

My daughter made an appointment at this bridal shop to see wedding dresses and have a fitting. From the moment we walked in we were treated like special guests. Our person assigned to helping us was Jacqueline and she was kind, attentive and professional. She took a lot of time explaining the process to us about the dresses, the philosophy of the store and we were just all enthralled with all of it. What was truly amazing, was that she helped to select dresses based on what my daughter said she was looking for and brought exact dresses that she was hoping to see. Then she helped her into the dress and let her have the first look in the mirror at the dress before, opening the curtains and revealing the dress to the rest of us. I didn't know we were going to find the dress, but my daughter did and it was beyond anything I had ever expected. The entire experience was so memorable and enjoyable that I recommend that anybody who's looking for a dress and you're in this area of Pittsburgh, please go check out the store. She also made sure my daughter could follow up at anytime with questions or concerns and everyone hugged goodbye. We were beyond pleased and YES she said YES to the dress!

We had more than one phone conversation with them (prior to driving an hour and a half each way for this appointment) in which they stated that they had a large selection of plus size samples. In reality, they had one rack in the back of the store. This store is supposedly the only store in PA (maybe just western PA) to carry the Allure Disney Fairy Tale collection. If that's true that's very sad bc they had a small rack of them, most older, a few new and even fewer in plus size. Actually I don't know if they had any, bc the only ones my daughter liked they didn't have. If you're going to brag and be half snarky on the phone that you're the "only store in PA" to carry that line, then you should have an extensive selection of that line in all sizes. Don't waste your time looking at their "available dresses" on the website bc they didn't have some of them and told us that they don't have time to keep up with that. Ok? Then don't list any. The only positive experience was that our consultant Sue was very nice. She went out of her way to help my daughter and was very knowledgeable. The poor selection and just meh gowns is not her fault. Even tho she had never been told any information about my daughter prior to her appointment, which should ALWAYS be done. Why bother asking questions if you're not going to pass them along to the consultant? If you're are an average size bride that is on the lower end of the budget range (which is perfectly fine!) and you aren't picky at all, then this place might be ok. If you want something different or at all out of the ordinary same old same old, skip this place.

What I really liked that you could look at the dresses yourself and pick out what you wanted to try on. A lot of salons don't let you do this. You tell them what you're looking for and they pick out the dresses. I'm sure this requires more work on the businesses end, but I do appreciate it. The dresses are gorgeous and there's a nice variety. I saw all the styles you'd expect to find including mermaid, silhouette, a-line, fit and flair, ball gown and some trendier choices like non-white dresses. THEN the real show stopper - a traditional cut strapless fit and flare dress covered in a sequin underlay so it sparkles like the sun. It was truly breathtaking. That's the special one my friend went home with. There's a room you can go into to get dressed, and the attendees will help you. They also provide strapless bras if you didn't bring your own, nice touch! Again, the people working couldn't have been nicer and were so patient and answered all our questions. It was a truly pleasant experience. Prices seem to be very much on par with most boutiques, I think you just have to come with a budget in mind. I will highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great experience.

My daughter chose her dress in February of 2023 and it was paid for. Her wedding date is May 25th…read moreof this year. We were able to pick the dress up yesterday!!! My daughter called over 2 months ago and was told "waiting to be shipped". I called a month later and was told the same thing and that there was an issue with another bride's dress whose wedding was before my daughter's . That is not my concern or should matter. I was also told by the owner MaryBeth that "we are cutting it close" and she would see what was going on. I made sure she knew that I would take further action if needed. The tracking number for the dress was provided within 2 days and was not even shipped priority but took a week to get there. My daughter had to call them to set up a fitting. I truly believe if she did not call, they would not have contacted her until after April 1st ( the shop is closed 3/22 until 4/1). When questioning the time frame for fitting and alterations the second time, MaryBeth stated " there is plenty of time for that" ,contradicting herself. We picked up the dress and chose to not have the seamstress, (who was a lovely lady and helpful, more than the owner), do the alterations. Marybeth was there and did not offer a single apology and did not speak more than a few words. The service received here was the worst experience I could imagine any bride going through. My daughter did her research prior and the reviews were good. Ladies do not choose this retailer unless you plan on staying On top of them each step of the way and want to listen to BS . Did I mention that I myself was able to contact the company that the dress was ordered from once the tracking was provided and was told by a great representative there that the dress was only recently ordered and paid for!? Whether you choose to pay $500 or close to $3k like we did, keep your eyes on the prize with this company ! Don't let them add extra stress to one of the most important days of your life.
