I have been going to Melissa through the most stressful period of my entire life, and I wouldn't be…read morestanding here without her! I don't know how to explain what she does exactly, but it works, on so many levels. She contacted me about another matter a few years ago, and I asked her what she does, she told me, and my interest was sparked. Little did I know, I was on the verge of a situation most would only akin to a nightmare in their own life. Melissa's touch is a GIFT. She's kept me strong (I should be ill), she's kept my mind strong, my body strong and my spirit strong. I have had not only serious physical ailments, due to my situation, but financial, emotional and spiritual stress. When I say stress, I'm not talking about my car breaking down and I can't afford to fix it, I MEAN SERIOUS STRESS, on every level; physically (I'm 38 and exceptionally healthy with a dilapidating 70+ year old spine condition according to my neurosurgeon, and chiropractor) but I'm still walking! Mentally - in the most wild custody battle you've ever heard (you might see my story in a movie one day). Emotionally --- seriously, one day I am in court, the next I'm on a crazy wonderful trip for my work for an occasion I need to be "up, happy and present." Financially --- I am ok - people in my position would be living with family or on the streets, due to court. Mentally -- I've been through a full blown psychiatric evaluation --- WOW, "I'm solid," even the Psychologist mentioned, I can't believe I don't see anything here ( LOL ) (seriously, whew) I can't ignore the fact I have been seeing Melissa regularly for around 2 years, since just before all this started. I count my blessings, and she is most certainly near the top of the list!!!!! People who know me say regularly "I can't believe how you are handling this, you're so strong" The truth is, I'm freaking tired of being strong, but somehow, I've been able to power through, and it's largely due to my regular sessions with Melissa. The time I spend with her, is an investment in myself, and it's not unnoticed by family and friends. Her work: It's hard to describe, you must have faith, because it's unseen, but can be felt, for certain. "Faith is belief in things you can't see." You can see Melissa, but maybe not exactly what she's doing. (BTW I don't normally write such long yelp reviews, but her work deserves it.) I leave her office with an overwhelming sense of peace, that lasts for quite a while. The only other place I get this sense of well being is when scuba diving -- and that is just not something I can do on a regular basis. To me this experience alignment confirms, she's dealing with something larger than I am or can comprehend, like the ocean. Melissa has shared her gift of healing, and I am forever grateful. Above all, I am able to be a really solid and attentive mom, which is the greatest gift I could pass on to another human, who especially needs me. Understand, she's not a "normal" doctor, with insurance etc. But that doesn't matter, because what she can address in your body will give you the gift of life, energy, peace and productivity, which is far more than any doctor with a diploma on the wall will give you. This always has the potential to backfire, though, as "deep pressure" for one part of the body will be different than another.
