Instead of adhering to the acceptance/denial notification date she originally stated in the specifications, the gallery director switched to a Hollywood style maneuver and told me I was, "shortlisted", with a NEW notification date a month away, thus rendering my artworks in limbo and unavailable for exhibition elsewhere. I contacted Ms. Soon and demanded a refund. After her sad attempt at convincing me that by having shortlisted several of my pieces she had indeed fulfilled her obligation of timely notification, I contacted my credit card company. Bank of America has no tolerance for this type of manipulation of terms and upon their investigation granted my full refund.

I booked a 2 hr Private Glassblowing session, and YES, it is worth the money. First, Mark set up the appointment and was very accommodating throughout the whole thing. Dan was our guide and instructor. He was AMAZING!! Both of us had almost no, or no experience at all with this, and it is such a detailed process with many steps, but Dan reviewed it with us ahead of time, and guided us appropriately the whole way. He loosened his guiding hold when he could sense we had it, or put an extra hand on when he knew we didn't, haha. He even let us go into it with novel ideas, and really let us explore. In the end, our vessels came out absolutely beautiful. Similar, but different in subtle ways. The perfect pairing for us two as partners in love. Thank you so much for this special, unique, unusual, and transformative experience. We would love the opportunity to go again sometime.

I found the shop by looking up reviews, and I'm very glad that I did. I had four modified…read morephotographs that I wanted to frame; I had a fairly good idea of what I wanted them to look like. Debbie (the owner and framer) listened to my ideas, started working towards my goal, then added her own suggestions, gained from years of experience and a full knowledge of framing, combined with her clear vision. Throughout this process we worked together (masked and at a 6' distance due to COVID) to find the perfect frames. This is a top notch framing shop and Debbie is wonderful to work with. She is professional yet friendly, helpful but not pushy, her shop is very comfortable and a treasure trove of other bits and pieces. My frames are beautiful and the the workmanship is superb. Eastworks in Easthampton is an incredible place to stop for a multitude of reasons. The first is…read morethat the building itself is incredible. It is an old mill that has been transformed into multiple different stores, restaurants and services. When we last came in we went to a flea market event, stopped at their arts and crafts store, and then also went into their antique store. We have also stopped here when we needed to go the RMV since it is also housed in the complex. Overall the list of stores, restaurants, and services located in this restored mill are too long to list. It is definitely worth dropping by or checking their website to see all they have to offer. The next time we are in the area we will make it a point to stop in again. Final note, they also rent apartments in this mill which looked incredible.
