The others are alright but seem uninterested in the products they sell. The prices are alright but very (1-2$) close to the 5 other vapes shops on the same street. I hit a star cz only way would let me post. I had an issue w opiates in my 20s, now am in 40s. My wallet was lost so only id had was photocopy of license front and back had to make for employer. Smoke zone cards which is good thing. But I also gave them lot of business prior, so they know me. I went to purchase kratom because it helps immensely with ex opiate addicts. I presented them my ids I had, the bar code even scans, dispensary accepts even. They refused me. What makes me laugh is kratom is illegal in RI, so it's already a crime lol. Vibrations in Enfield Connecticut used to be a great store when the mother or father owned it .. they retired and they're too a****** sons took over the store I was ordering vape juice special order I was working my way down to quitting The vape juice that I was having them buy was from Kai's Virgin vapor It cost $42 a bottle and I was paying it I was placing orders for like 15 bottles All sudden my order comes in 45 bottles in there 4 flavors that I didn't order​ all with the fact in mind that I wouldn't buy the flavors and I did anyways and then out of nowhere without giving me fair warning they stopped ordering my products they're the most two miserable son of b****** that I've ever met I believe they think they should be sitting on their ass collecting their parents hard-earned money for the last 50 years that they've on their shop .. I've been going to vibrations for at least 5 years so all the previous commentary about the one scruffy guy and his rude condescending demeanor is very well known to me. I typically cringe inside when I see him and always keep my communication to a minimum with him. The women and the owner are amazing which is why I continued going there as long as I did. That one guy though. WOW !!Today was my breaking point. They are no longer carrying an e-juice I had been using for many many years. I had to ask questions to see if I could find a suitable alternative. He was so incredibly rude rolled his eyes multiple times, was annoyed by my presence in the store, pretty much shrugged his shoulders mumbled a bit and provided absolutely no assistance in identifying a suitable alternative even when I directly asked. I've been coming here for vape juice for a while and never had any real problems (I can't speak to staff knowledge because I usually knew what I wanted before I went). However, yesterday I stopped by for the first time since pre-COVID and not a single person was wearing a mask. There were only three people in the store but two were employees... I'd be more forgiving if they at least had dividers, but the only customer was leaning in over the counter to talk to the sales associate. We're in a literal pandemic. I recently began vaping and came here after Christmas to fix a problem. As I had no idea what was wrong with my vape or how to fix it, the two ladies were SO extremely helpful and welcoming and I didn't even buy my original vape at this location. They helped me understand why it wasn't working, what to do and how to put everything back together properly. Fantastic experience and selection of products! Now on to the reason I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THIS PLACE BUSINESS AGAIN: there is a 20-something-looking boy who works there who just gave me the worst experience I've probably EVER had as a customer anywhere...in the world, actually. He was so incredibly rude, unhelpful, arrogant, lazy and a complete snob. I needed a new piece of glass and didn't know what I needed or how to put it on. He scoffed, handed me the piece and said, 'is that it?', I said no, can you please show me how to get this on? He simply said, 'no.' I get that maybe he didn't want to be responsible for breaking anything but he wouldn't show me, wouldn't help me, when he saw me struggling for more than 5 minutes he just kept staring at the other kid and laughed. My friend cut her finger while trying to get the old glass off and stood there bleeding as he still offered no help... I was going to buy more juice and other products but picked up my phone and Googled other Vape shops in the area, bought the $3.00 piece and left. Went to Voltage Vape Shop down the street. I don't know his name but he's the skinnier of the two boys with glasses. Don't know if he was too doped up to care or if his parents own the place but i can't think of any other reason why someone would be so incredibly horrible at their job, unkind, unhelpful, rude, and still be employed here. I usually enjoy my visits to Vibrations as the owner and most of his staff have been helpful and personable. Unfortunately as of late I have been avoiding this store because of one employee who has been nothing but rude, condescending and highly unhelpful. This young man seems to have zero consideration for the store's customers and acts as if he's annoyed that he should have to answer questions about the store's products. The only reason I ever gave vibrations my business was because they have good prices but never again after the way I was so rudely spoken to today after being a regular for a long time. The 2 ladies who work there are very knowledgeable and kind but the 2 middle aged guys are absolutely awful. They don't know how to speak with an ounce of human decency. One of them especially should not be in any kind of customer service position. My boyfriend took the piece to the shop, and was told that he "had to have dropped it, because it couldn't possibly shatter." Today I tried Yelp for a local store and was amazed that there's one close by! The staff is amazing! Answered all my questions and even informed me of newer models for vaping. I purchased e-juice and filters two days ago (6/21), evening time. Their 30ml bottles were several dollars more than I would pay in MA. That wasn't the deal breaker for me, though. The young guy who "helped" me was such a hipster snob. Totally standoffish, impatient, and rude. He kind of scoffed at my vaporizer and was impatient when I didn't know what specific filter I needed, and when they didn't have the juice I was looking for, he couldn't care less. The kid working the counter was absolutely zero help. There was no greeting when we walked in, no questions if he could help us, nothing.... I've decided to write a yelp review about this business because I was reminded about how badly they f****ed me. I was 18 at the time and went to buy a pipe. I was young and nervous about going inside since there are certain things you weren't allowed to say I just wanted to get in and out. I bought a pipe and left. On the way home I noticed it was cracked and had already been used. I was almost home so I decided to bring it back the next day as I didn't think I would make it back to the shop before they closed. I brought it back the following day to complain and they accused me of breaking it and smoking out of it. They were extremely argumentative and bullied me, trying to make me admit that I had done it. They would not refund my money or even take it back. Yeah it's my fault for not being more observant but it was the most frustrating encounter I've had with a business. I have not returned since and do not plan to. There is a much better smoke shop very close by called "Smoke Zone" with amazing products. read more

Well, I'm a local. I think this is important because most people looking for something on Yelp aren't. Vibrations has been around as long as I can remember (I'm 38). I've been in 15-20 times in 20 years. It's a decent head shop. They have everything you'd expect from a true head shop. Not a hippie "clothing and bead" shop! However they're a little expensive. There's another shop "Northern lights" less than a mile south (same road) make sure you check out both. Again they're a little pricy compared to buying online, but a little better than Vibrations on things I've bought. I can't say anything bad about either but I've had better experiences at Northern lights. Sales people were more personable and I've bought more from them as a result. Not to discount the knowledge of Vibrations employees, they just weren't feeling my "vibes"! lol. If your not from the area please stop by and visit both of our local head shops. When confronted with the item being counterfeit and unused will not issue refund and double down on their lies, and disrespect customers who they have ripped off. I had bought my vape there with little to no help for selection (it was my first and was clueless as to what I was looking at) I asked the young man at the counter if he could help me and he pointed at them and said "they are right there" so I just picked one and finally an older gentleman came out and was really nice and helped me. A few days ago I went to go buy a new coil and the rude kid from before hands me the wrong one and I told him it was the wrong one and he insisted that it was fine and it wouldn't matter and it would work. What do you know? ITS THE WRONG ONE! I went back the next day to try and get a refund and get the right one and he told me that he had no idea who I was didn't remember me at all that the coil shouldn't have been a problem blah blah blah then finally said he would take off the money for the wrong coil on a new one because the ones I needed only came in a 5 pack. He did not discount the full amount and I was too pissed to even argue. The young kids that work there need to get fired. The woman that works there is really nice and so is the older gentleman.
