Branch closures have made it inconvenient to get to the single branch left in Tucson. An hour round trip now. The app and website are down way too much and phone calls for technical support after hours? A robot that can only offer to change your password. And despite having direct deposit for over 25 years...they told us a couple months ago that we didn't qualify for online check deposits on the app because we didn't do enough business through the account. This despite having paid off three car loans with them. One as recently as last year. It was really nice to walk into a branch and be recognized and called by name and to reach a human being when a phone call was necessary. We are looking at ending our longstanding relationship with what we see as a much changed business.

They have ONE teller and they take your name when you come in to make a deposit or withdrawal etc. and you have to sit and wait. They do not have drive up tellers anymore either. There are two ATM outsides and the open at 10 and close at 4. This is ridiculous, there should be a big sign outside saying go to a different location for teller services! Go to Campbell and Glenn or Broadway and Swan. There are several "bankers" here sitting at desks and the other "potential teller" he stands at door with iPad to take your name.

I've never had a banker go above and beyond for me like that. he answered all my questions, he told me a potential issues that might occur with some of my paperwork, and he explained how to avoid fees. I hope the rest of my experience with this bank goes as well as my first day, I will have to wait and see though. I will also add, while I was doing my appointment there were tons of friendly people coming and going and the tellers were all very friendly and everybody was greeting everybody.
