Fast and simple process! Would recommend to anyone for car shopping! started process in the morning and got a car by the afternoon.

overall the process was very simple and straight forward. my main issues are that the car was at least not cleaned prior to purchase. I had white stuff that looked like spilled paint all over. the windshield also had a giant glass chip on it that I now need to go fix out of pocket because I didnt call it out right at the time of deliver. I get you get what you pay for and this is a reason you keep costs down, but it would not kill you to take accurate photos and call out these damages on the car posting. No where did it say the glass had damage or that the car had paint spilled on it nor did the pictures show this. Also the pictures showed a black tesla and this was their stealth grey. Not a huge issue but I wanted black. read more

Went to sell my 2022 Chevy Trax to Carvana. At first, everything seemed good and normal. Offer was given. Not the best offer, but acceptable. Good enough that I'd go with it for the convenience of it. Answered their questions, gave them the documents, scheduled an appointment for today, 5pm. Then, today, my wife had to go to the hospital (was sent there from her work). So I went to reschedule...any decent company would help here, right? NOT CARVANA. They cut the original offer by several hundred dollars and told me "take it or leave it." I tried reaching out to multiple representatives who all said the same thing. AVOID THIS COMPANY. read more

When purchasing a vehicle from Carvana, I had three fundamental expectations: that the car would be free from mechanical issues, safe to drive, and thoroughly cleaned. Unfortunately, the vehicle we received did not meet any of these expectations. Upon delivery, the Carvana attendant informed us that a door was not functioning correctly. Shortly thereafter, I noticed a seatbelt with a tear. At home, it became apparent that all three seatbelts in the middle row failed to automatically retract and were loose, and another seatbelt was twisted at the base--resulting in issues with five seatbelts in total. Additionally, the vehicle had not been properly detailed. There was a noticeable brown stain underneath the driver's seat, alongside significant debris and remnants of food lodged in the seat rails. We also discovered that some floor mats were missing. We have made multiple calls to Carvana and their SilverRock warranty service to resolve the door and seatbelt issues. Repairs can be performed at a dealership free of charge; however, parts need to be ordered, which will take approximately a week and a half-- exceeding the seven-day satisfaction guarantee period. While we hope all costs will be covered, the process has been both challenging and time-consuming. I intend to follow up with Carvana regarding coverage for a professional detailing service to address the cleanliness concerns. read more

Purchased 2019 Toyota 4Runner on July 26, 2026. This is what you get with Carvana's 150-point inspection before delivering. Needless to say, I'm in the process of small claims suit in Maricopa county court. Do NOT purchase Carvana vehicles! Tires were bald and brakes were shot. Both Carvana and their crooked warranty company SilverRock refused to reimburse me for the tires and brakes and rotors. My advice is to pursue small claims suit against them. read more

I bought a car and used my old car as a trade in. My first delivery date was on a Sunday. I checked all Saturday and Saturday night for any updates and nothing. No emails or calls. Sunday comes around and they said cause I didn't do all the paperwork so I'm not getting my car that day. I had to call 4 times to get my paperwork approved and the rep simply said "sorry we've been busy". The car drop off was easy and I loved the rep I worked with! With Carvana you have 7 days to exchange. I found the same car in a more preferred color with 5k less miles and only $700 more. I was so excited. I called to start the swap... I then noticed my payment went up $30 a month when it was only $700 more!! I started looking at the terms and they were all different. I asked them about it and they said each car has different terms. How are you going to give me a below 10% Apr then raise it when I change cars? My credit score did not change. No one helped me. No one worked with me. It was very much "this is how it is. Terms are different with every car." I would never recommend or buy from Carvana again. If you swap cars in your 7 day period watch to see if they switch up your terms and raise the APR and taxes on you! read more

Long, long story summarized: *First car purchased with Carvana had 3k worth of work needed under the hood on day one. Significant cosmetic damage on the inside that was purposely not pictured on website. (car returned) *Second car was delivered and reeked of cigar smoke.. even delivery driver was disgusted (car returned) *Didn't want to get a third car at this point, but since Carvana sold my trade already, was pressured into getting something I didn't want *It is now 4 months later and my credit score was deducted 56 points when it was in the mid 700s. Why? Because Carvana decided to not send a payoff check on the car I had returned after owning for less than 48 hours. Now i am "deliquent" $22k and have to go through a long and grueling process to get this mess worked out. Hours upon hours on the phone...days full of stress from when I woke up to when I went to bed... being scared of not having a reliable car for me and my child. Feeling trapped. Going in circles. False promises of follow up and resolution. DO NOT buy a car from Carvana. DO NOT especially have the car delivered without seeing it first. Do a very thorough inspection inside and out before signing the forms with the delivery driver... this is a loophole to not have it count towards the 3 car limit. If you do take possession of the car, take it to a shop and have it looked at immediately through silverrock (free through their third party warranty provider) DO Stand up for yourself and be ready to advocate for yourself when things go south. read more

Carvana is Unethical, Dishonest, and a Nightmare to Deal With Carvana misrepresented the car they sold me from start to finish. Their listing showed photos and descriptions that claimed the car was in near-perfect condition, with refurbished wheels and only minor cosmetic flaws, which was perfectly acceptable. What I received was not the car in the condition they advertised, and they lied about the financing terms. Upon delivery: * The wheels/rims (not the tires) were deeply curb-rashed, scratched down to raw metal. * The interior body panels had significant scratches that were never disclosed. * Worst of all, there was white and purple spray paint all over the rear seats, seatbelts, and buckles, permanently staining the leather. I immediately documented everything with photos and showed Carvana their own original listing versus the actual condition of the car delivered minutes earlier. They refused to take any responsibility. Instead, they wasted hours of my life with dozens of phone calls, sending me to "evaluation" shops that they later admitted were inappropriate, and stringing me along without resolution. Carvana also flat-out lied about financing. They clearly explained that if you use their financing through Bridgecrest and pay the car off before the first payment is due, there would be no interest. I paid in full before the first due date, yet they still charged me over $200 in interest. When challenged, they began the run around process over, hours of time and dozens of phone calls. Clearly hoping to frustrate and exhaust you into giving up and then unethically, immorally stealing your money. The entire business is built on smoke and mirrors: employees are trained to sound "friendly," but they are powerless to actually fix problems. Smiles and apologies mean nothing when the company is fundamentally unethical, dishonest, and unwilling to do the right thing. Carvana advertises a seamless, stress-free experience. In reality, it's a nightmare of lies, wasted time, and frustration. I would absolutely never recommend Carvana to anyone. Avoid this company at all costs, they are unethical, immoral, and will not stand behind what they sell. read more

However, when my Tesla was delivered, it was so dirty I had to take it to a carwash, could barely see out of the windshield. The car looked like it had sat outside and got swallowed by a dust storm. Sold my 2012 honda to caravana and it was decent experience especially since they picked it up at my home. They didn't offer me as much as I would have liked to receive despite the fact I had taken good care of the vehicle. The time frame they quoted was a little off. I was given a window of time between 11a-2pm and she arrived after 2pm but that happens due to other unforeseen factors. Horrible car buying experience. I purchased a GMC terrain and the delivery was delayed three times. Then I was given the opportunity to switch vehicles so I chose another vehicle. I purchased that vehicle on a Friday. It was approved and said it would be delivered on Sunday. Then the day of delivery three hours prior to delivery I was notified that the vehicle would not be delivered due to titling issues. Then I received a text message an hour or so later saying that the delivery would be delayed again until August 10. When I called to speak with higher management, I was then told that the vehicle needed repairs. They offered a $250 credit towards the price of a vehicle, however that did nothing for the listed vehicles. When I asked if the 250 could be applied towards the down payment they said that that was not possible. This has been the absolute worst experience and would never recommend someone purchasing a vehicle from Carvana. read more

Be very, very cautious when purchasing. I selected a 2025 vehicle and then switched to a 2024. The delivery on the 2025 was $290 and the car was located in Northern California per Carfax. When changing to the 2024, the delivery price from Oregon was somehow raised to include my $1,600 down payment to equal $1,890.00. I cancelled everything and CARVANA kept the $1,890 They cannot produce the original electronically signed document stating the vehicles already sold. BE CAREFUL. read more

I have used Carvana before and as long as things go smoothly, it's fine. The second time I bought a car from them, I had issues and the customer service was terrible. Carvana attempted the payment from my bank under the wrong name. Of course, the bank denied the payment because it was tried under the wrong name. I was told the Carvana policy is, they can only try once. I had to now go to the bank and get a Cashier's Check/Money order and mail it to them. What took weeks to accomplish by me could have easily been solved by just running the payment again with the correct name. At one point, the customer service agent hung up on me. She was very rude and non-helpful. When asked to speak to a supervisor, she said she was the supervisor. This was my second purchase through Carvana, unfortunately, will be my last. read more

The process was relatively easy. A couple of hiccups with the team finalizing the paperwork before but the car got delivered on time. I took the car to a very well know independent service provider for Audi, Porsche, and BMW (Beck's European) who completed a thorough private inspection and I also had them perform an oil and filter after the inspection was complete and I decided to move forward with the purchase. I expected more from Carvana. The front tires had 6/32 tread left and the date codes had them over 3 years old. Recommended for replacement is 4/32. So basically Carvana sold the car with worn out tires. Another tire was from year 2022. The brake pads had 6mm on the front and 9mm on the rear. Pads are typically replaced at 3mm. Probably should have just done new front brakes and tires prior to sale. Nobody at Carvana could even tell me if the oil and filter was replace only most likely checked. The windshield washer fluid system was noted as leaking in Carvana's own inspection and noted as repaired. It was not, as BECK's also noted it was still leaking. If someone at Carvana just cared a little more they could have better prepared this car for sale and priced it slightly higher to offset the cost knowing customer would be 100% satisfied most like, but didn't because aesthetically the car was in great shape and they probably hoped nobody would check it a 2nd time, but I did and was disappointed. Plus fill the tank with GAS least you can do when you delivery it! read more

Long story short it cost me $30. to put a stop payment with my bank regarding the deposit otherwise had I not responded fast I was told repeatedly that it was going to take 10-15 working days to get my $15.000 deposit returned to my bank account. Awful from beginning to end! It was a very stressful and time consuming process! You could not get the same answer twice, each person you talked to gave a different answer to the same question! This is not what you want when you are trading in your old car and buying a new one! Thank god for my amazing loan management team at Central Missouri Customer Credit Union, Heather and the bank president who went above and beyond to get the job done! They are the only reason I was able to finish the process! I would think twice before using Carvana!!! Update... I have had my car for a month and this morning i headed out go to work and the car started to spudder, jump then started to flash a ton of warning signs then died! I had it towed to my local Toyota dealership and they fixed it saying that at Carvana they power wash under the hood to make it look clean and more appealing! When they did that they didn't dry out the air box causing it to malfunction! I paid the $180 thinking I would get refunded from Carvana since I was under the 100 day window! Well how wrong I was! So apparently I can pay 30+ thousand dollars for a car and am expected to pay out of pocket for a problem with the vehicle that they messed up!?! So if you go to their places then you pay $100 which is still bonkers!?! But $350 deductible on a new car... that just says it all for me. If they can't honor their products full for a 100 days then they are not trustworthy! This was the third car that we sold to Carvana. They make it so easy to sell a car to them. We went to the Carvana website, typed in our VIN and filled out how our vehicle was equipped (color, mileage, options in car, etc). Then Carvana came back instantly with an offer. We accepted it. Carvana can either pickup the car for a small fee or you can drop it off with them. We elected to drop off the car with Carvana. Once we arrived, the process is always quick. They checked our IDs and then they inspected the vehicle. Once that was done, we gave the representative the paper title of the vehicle. Since we had no lien on the car, the funds were sent to our bank account the day after we sold Carvana the car. Wow how quick is that!! Much better than haggling with a car dealership or having to sell it privately then worry about getting paid by the new owner. We will always sell our cars to Carvana! read more
