I had a car seat with me so she told me to sit and repeatedly came over to me so I didn't have to go back and forth. Next I was with Rosa who was so friendly and had a big beautiful smile the entire time she helped me open my account. Everything was done quickly, explained thoroughly, and with a smile. On my member page it said refinance current auto loans. So I filled out the application and got approved at a better rate. My credit got hit. Then I get a message that, sorry we do not refinance current auto loans. So after complaining, my take away is that they will refinance other bank auto loans for new customers, but for their members it's a big F you. Take your business somewhere else. So, they rather lose long time members. Caution.....they don't care about their members. I will be looking for a new bank to do business with. They don't deserve a 1 star.

This credit union branch has the worst service of any financial institution in Florida. The staff…read moreis so unfriendly and just don't seem to care for the membership. There is never enough employees to take care of members trying to take care of their business. This branch has long lines almost daily and the board of directors should establish another branch in this area to take care of members. There was no sign in the branch that show who the board of directors are. I thanked the security hard for his service one day and he just looked at me with a frown and spoke no words. With the large salaries and bonus the CEO gets, you would think he would ensure better service at the branches.

It was compounding. The last time I went in was because my card got flagged and shut off for reasons unknown to me and to the person who had to print me a card. Which asked to go sit while they printed a card. While I sat and watched two more people get helped by the same teller, in a time span of what seemed like more than 10 minutes but probably wasnt, after a10 minute wait in line, that was probably 5, while the line appeared to have the same amount of people, I'd guess 16. Although the next time I went, did only take a one person wait to get the card. I'm one of those people who will always have something to camplain about. Mom requested a manager. They deliberately make her wait as if to correct the issue. Was very rude when my mom demanded to correct the matter. When they pull the statement they then and there correct it. If she hadn't spoken up money probably exchange tellers hands. So beware of the branch. We'll be taking matter to district.

I've done various transactions there, and they've always done a good job inside. They also have two ATMs outside. But what's exceptional about this Suncoast branch is a teller named Yuma. Yuma is the friendliest, most helpful, and above all, patient bank teller I've ever met. He's never stumped. He always knows what to do, in a variety of cases, and does it with a smile and friendly encouragement. Just imagine-- a bank employee that's so great, he makes you look forward to visiting the bank. Yuma is worth gold!

This was a place I have relied upon any time I want to buy a car, motorcycle, or even get a loan for anything!!! Now any decision is a corporate committee meeting with cold handshakes and shallow apologies. I got married last year and wanted a small loan to help my wife/kid relocate and get all affairs in order. For $2,000 Suncoast declined me. Wells Fargo said yes. Not only have I never stepped foot in a Wells Fargo - I don't bank there. Then Wells Fargo put a cherry on the cake by approving a loan for a new A/C system. Suncoast let a Chinese seller rip me off for $42.55 even though I submitted proof my item is STILL in Aiken S.C at the time of this writing. Run away screaming.

An officer came to the house when I called, to help file a report, and the next day visited the neighbors whose property was all around my home to see if they had home cameras . I intend to get home cameras as soon as I can afford them and also motion sensitive exterior lights to discourage this kind of thing at my home and in my neighborhood which sometimes people neglect to report because "it was night time and the thief/thieves were fast." A few months later an officer phoned for follow-up to see if I found any items at home. Sadly, no. The jewelry was items from my deceased mother's collection. The gun was bought in my father's name and he died of old age, the youngest son had it, died also, and it had passed to me.
