Joke. Straight up joke. They delay your service with 99.9% rate, and they charge you for service they never performed. They are the worst. They do not deliver their service. Unprofessional. From the first mow they've consistently missed scheduled days. The grass is never and I'm mean never mowed properly. They have charged my card without completing any services. Piss poor customer service. No reply to my emails. No returned calls from a message and no answer after calling several times to cancel the service due to bad services provided to include an unfinished yard mowing/weed eating as the last straw. I've had several times where I should have canceled but gave them the benefit of the doubt. I just hope this review keeps others from having to put up with their non sense. Edit: Tried going to their office today due to still not having a reply email or call back only to be told by the receptionist at the shared office spaces that they aren't there anymore. They have cut someone else's lawn twice in the last 3 weeks and billed me for it. In the first instance, they took a week to respond while my grass grew longer. One neighbour is only there to take your money. This company is fraud company. I had initially been promised a first service cost of $18.99 but I was ultimately charge $60. They justified this higher charges by citing tall grass and lot site size exceeding 10,000 ft.² even though my lot size is actually 9496 ft.² according to Zillow and my in our house document on and they charge that you know like almost double amount and when I started try to call them, they don't answer the phone they don't have phone so they only communicate via email and when I cancel the service they charge me additional $30 via already paid $90 so far so this is not a good company. Service started off well, but then I noticed a steady decline with scheduling and contractors. I contacted customer service a few times regarding the matter and received either excuses or no willingness to correct with conflict resolution. Started off with a set day for mowing every other week but now they schedule to their needs rather than the customers needs. I understand on days when it rains rescheduling occurs but regardless of rain they come on different days and sometimes they don't even show. When they don't show, it gets rescheduled on days when it rains. Then I'm at a point when I have to use one of my days off to mow the yard. It has happened numerous times in a short period of time. I asked for the the same/one contractor to show because each contractor uses different equipment and have to explain each time to each contractor grass height, where to mow, where to edge, sprinklers, property lines etc...there should be some level of consistency, they disregarded my feelings as a customer nor offered a solution. I will be canceling service. Update: Just now canceled. They didn't even bother to ask why or get feedback. They need new management and customer service. Totally agree with comments in reviews here. They changed our appointment several times. Pushing it back one day to take our money if we cancelled. Started on Tuesday a no show. Called and they said they were delayed. Called again several times and could not reach anyone. Not sure if it was a one off reaching some one. They moved scheduled appointments to Weds., Thursday, Friday, Saturday, back to Friday, than back to Saturday again. Next a no show again, missed appointment. Now it says Sunday 5/30 delayed. No option to cancel services. Use at your own risk, trying to save money equals this horrific service. First experience and they have my card on file to charge. Bait and switch. They are consistently getting bad reviews. With my experience I can understand why. Over promised and undelivered. Never again for this mowing service. Grass out of control now, thanks to them now showing and missing appointments. We have not seen them charge us, yet the 24hr cancellation policy is crooked pushing it out one day each time, leaving no room to cancel without trying to take your money. OneNeighbor has scheduling and customer service issues. I arranged for weekly lawn service the beginning of April ...39 texts and 64 emails later they have not provided weekly services. If there is a cancelation due to weather or equipment problems from their vendors - to reschedule lawn service is an issue. Links in their texts do not work. If you "open a ticket" OneNeighbor sends a text that the issue is resolved because it is "timed out." There is no way to contact a customer service representative. read more

Don't bother. OneNeighbor is excellent at three things: advertising services, signing you up for services, and then rescheduling services. It is poor at one thing: providing services. Perhaps someone, somewhere, is getting lawncare and landscaping services performed through OneNeighbor. I jhave never met that person. read more

I used their service for about a year with no issue. I cancelled when we moved out of the neighborhood in Oct 2022. Last week I received a notice that a job had been scheduled. When I logged back in I saw that my account had been reactivated and a job scheduled. I cancelled it because I no longer live at that address and was then charged a cancellation fee. This is also taking into consideration covid and noncovid times Used Oneneighbor for several months. received bi weekly lawn trimming and ordered lawn core aeration and tree trimming services once. price: 4.5/5 prices are very competitive quality: 1/5 untimely, nearly every month I needed to contact the company to find out why my scheduled service was missed. it was always blamed on the actual servicer. half of my services the lawn was not done well and rushed, could be due to the fact that the company needed to contact another vendor to come asap. but still very sloppy. not recommended on the count that service is not performed timely and the lawn maintenance is rushed. there are 2 folks who have good customer service, Tyler and Daniel. other than that i think the company has a lot of work to do to maintain customer satisfaction. even if it is with the vendor selected, perhaps the screening process could be improved to avoid poor service. read more

Terrible doesn't begin to describe the organization. I agreed to a reschedule from a Friday to a Monday for my Christmas lights because they are so far behind. Monday comes and goes without a call or anyone showing up. Tuesday the guy shows up, calls me on the way because they gave him the wrong address. He then calls me back not knowing where to hang the lights because One Neighbor did not give him install instructions. One Neighbor sub contracts their work out to companies and forgets to give them direction on exactly what they are hired to do. Sprint don't run from this company.... read more

Great service as it's convenient and reliable. I signed up and within a few days had my lawn attended to. They provide pictures afterwards and it looked great. They even blew all the leaves off my back porch area (it's a decent size area). Highly recommend. There is a small fee however in seasons past just getting someone to show was an issue, not now!!! read more

When I first started with them my lawn was cut on time wi hardly and rescheduled sessions. Over the last year thing took a drastic turn. Unexplained cancellations or reschedules causing my lawn to go weeks without care. Most recently, it started on March 6th when they did not show and rescheduled to March 11. They no showed that day also and rescheduled to March 21. It did not rain the 6th or the 11th. They rescheduled the 21st to the 22nd due to rain. They did not show on the 22nd and rescheduled to the 25th, there was no rain that day. The rescheduled the 25th to the 26th because it rained that morning and then rescheduled from the 26th to the 28th because it might rain, it did not. Today, the 28th, the weather was great and they no showed again and rescheduled for April 4th, even though tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day also, if not windy. I cancelled my service because of this. Even if the value was reasonable, the service was not. read more

Terrible. Each time our yard is scheduled to be mowed it gets rescheduled each day for a week or two before someone shows up. Price has gone from $25/week to nearly $40/week. Last time they did not blow the leaves up. This time the broke a fence, hose bib, and left a canoe in the middle of the yard. Just pay the slight premium to a local group so you have the same guys show up each week and have some accountability. read more

I had Christmas lights installed on my house. Service was extremely nice. One thing that I would like to change is the scheduling. This is the only reason OneNeighbor did not get 5 stars. Once I scheduled I rejected other contractors a few days later I got an email that they would have to push out. I was pushed out a second time which of course aggravated me since I had already set expectations with family that lights would be ready by our December event. read more

The crew couldn't service the backyard because it was locked. They claimed I should have unlocked the gate while I was out of town. (Saturday). They are really eager to get your credit card info as they planned to charge you regardless of anything. Sounds like once you call them.... You're trapped!!! Meantime, my neighbor told me about the company who did installed for them and I reached out to them and was able to schedule the service the following week. Then I called them to cancel the appointment which was almost a month ahead of the appointment. But unfortunately, they said appointment can be cancelled but once they received the payment can't be refund.... I was like what!!! Nobody came for service and its still a month... I should have read the reviews first. I tried signing up for bi-weekly service. The first one was rescheduled for the very next Monday from when I signed up. The email did say that the first one may be rescheduled and I was fine with that. However, it was scheduled for the next Wednesday, and then cancelled and pushed to Thursday, then Friday, and then Saturday. Tried calling the number for contact us a few times to make sure there was nothing wrong and that I would get service at least that week. Phone just rings and leaves you in a queue listening to music and then it only gives you an option to leave a message. So no real human contact. Then I emailed, but you have to wait 24-48 hours for a reply and they stated Sunday, an even later date, as my service date. I figured at this point, there was no point in moving forward if this is the level of customer service I can expect. I moved forward with cancelling my service. read more

The concept is good, but the organization and office is a mess. They are completely unreliable. They never show up when scheduled, or else someone mows three days apart. They constantly change your service times (to the very next day), but then don't allow you to cancel because it's outside of the 48-hour cancellation window. So basically, you have to leave your yard unlocked at all times, just in case they show up. If that gate is locked, you get charged. They've cancelled weeks in a row due to "rain." Had to fire them yesterday after a lengthy attempt to resolve service issues. Like others have mentioned, here and on Google, they bill for weeks they never showed up for, four times since May so far. When they failed to show for the second consecutive week on August 19, I contacted them by email. I did get a response saying that the crew had come and cut the lawn on August 12. They attached a couple of pictures that could have been taken at any other previous service, because I know for certain they weren't from August 12. The implication seemed to be that I don't know when my lawn has been mowed. While this was going on, they failed to show once again on August 19. It's been three weeks since they showed up. Of course, I've already paid for the entire month of August. I requested a refund for the missed dates in my email terminating their services, so I guess we'll see. Not holding out much hope there. On multiple occasions I received a poor lawn care job. However, I gave this company and their vendors the benefit of the doubt because we'd had major rain. I received yet another bad job and called to request some concession because they did not provide the service they promised. Was told that their policy wouldn't allow it and that there was nothing they could do. They have a horrible business model and even worse customer service.
