I'm not really a yoga fan for some reason. I think I get too antsy when I do it and just want to…read morebounce and flop around. Moksha is different because it is hot. The room is so warm that you sweat like crazy, actually detoxifying your entire body. This aspect of the yoga makes it more challenging and easier for me to concentrate. I like the schedules they have because it's usually available to anyone's schedule. I you have free time during the week I recommend going then; the weekends are just too busy. I went on a Saturday once and the entire room was full. It was so full that I couldn't even stretch out all the way without hitting someone. The dude behind me touched my foot because we were so packed. The instructors here are great. They are very informative and helpful. If you're doing something wrong they will correct you. One instructor in particular, Melissa, is cool because, in the more awkward poses, she asks if it's alright that she moves you. I liked the respect that she's showing when she does this. Just a quick tid bit. Ladies, don't be afraid to change in front of each other... and stop taking up the toilets to change your clothes! Some of us really need to pee after drinking 1.5 litres of water in an hour. If you're just looking to increase your exercise a bit, maybe try going once or twice a week. That means that buying a whole month isn't really worth it. Unless you plan on going more than three times every week, the monthly pass isn't worth it. I stick to one to two times a week, since it's quite a work-out and my muscles usually hurt the next day.

I've been hitting up the hot yoga since December and I have to say I do love me some Moksha…read more It's a super busy studio, which can be kind of trying on the patience sometimes, but busy= good. One thing I wish they did though was post which instructor was teaching which class. While the majority of the instructors here are amazing, everybody has a different personality and some people jive better than others. Overall though, a great place to sweat it out!

I had an experience at this gym in the past week that was pretty frustrating, and thus far, hasn't…read morebeen handled well by staff/management. First of all, it states on the front door of this Nubody's that the gym closes at 10pm. At 9:40pm last Monday, I along with one other girl was just completing my cardio routine. All of the cardio equipment at this gym faces 6 big screen tv's, and we were both plugged in and watching while we finished exercising. The Nubody's attendant closing that night proceeded to walk in front turning off all of the tv's. I looked up and noticed that it was only 9:40 and said: 'excuse me.'-I was hoping to ask her to leave the tv's on for 10 more minutes. Instead, I received no response. She either didn't hear me, or didn't feel like responding. For the amount that most people pay at this gym, they can't leave the tv's on until people have left? I realize that it's probably protocol to *start* shutting down at 9:50 or so but this was just too early... and too rude. I have since sent an email to the manager of this location asking for clarification on close times, as well as why I was treated so poorly and have yet to receive a response. Moral of the story: Don't join this Nubody's location... the Park Lane location 2 blocks away will let your run until the gym actually closes.

The Women's Only Club is painted hot pink, with pink everything throughout the Club. Like many other Nubody's, it has coin-operated tanning beds downstairs where you can tan for up to 20 mins for $5. Also found downstairs are a large sized aerobics room, a yoga studio, and change rooms (with lockers and showers). For me, I prefer the coed gyms, but for others, the Women's Only gyms work well. Also, I'm not a huge fan of the Bright Pink, as I find it a little overwhelming and a little too much Girl Power.
