My new go-to nail salon! Recently opened in Westmount about 4 months ago. I walked past this place…read morea few weeks ago and decided to try it on a Saturday afternoon. Remove your boots at the front if they are wet and put on the slippers provided. Upon walking in, first impressions are the cleanliness of the place and the newest drying machines. This is the first place in this city which I have seen that has the drying machines inserted into the furniture. It looks better aesthetically, rather than having machines out on top of the tables. There are two rows in back and one bar type section for drying nails in the front. There are about 6-8 chairs for pedicures against the wall. The furniture is white which makes the space look larger. The placement of the nail polish is nicely organized and placed in white shelves which light up. There are two people working, the man is named Sonny. He gave me a courtesy card, so after 5 manicures you get one free. They are both very friendly and easy to talk to. If you need help choosing a color, don't be shy to ask for recommendations! The TV plays top 40 videos which you can sing along to since the words appear at the bottom from time to time. They do waxing and ears piercings as well. Always best to make an appointment ahead of time for any of the services. Today I got my shellac removed and then got a shellac manicure. They are the first nail salon in this city which I've been to that uses the butterfly finger clips which hold the cotton in place while it soaks the nail polish in acetone. It replaces the use of aluminum foil. Brilliant! They have pink ones which can be re-used. What I really like is the arm rest which helps you so you don't need to strain your wrist from holding them up. My color today is called " got the blues for red ". Everything took about one hour and I was extremely pleased with the service. I'll be back soon! They take cash, debit and credit card. There is a $0.50 service charge if you use the machine.

Great price, amazing services, clean environment.. My nails lasted extra longer..definitely coming…read moreback..!

Read the reviews so I decided to try this nail salon last month. It suggests to make an appointment…read morewhich I always do. My appointment was at 10 am on a Saturday, although when I arrived it was still closed. I went to Pharmaprix to wait since it was -30 that day. When I returned, they were open at about 10:15 am. The woman who did my shellac change polish was efficient and didn't speak much. As she was removing my current shellac, she told me to choose a color. She used the electric nail file before putting the cotton with acetone and foil. It took about 5 minutes for the nails to soak. She removed the shellac polish in a few minutes and applied my new color. The total time was quick about 45 minutes. My second attempt to return to this salon was not successful. I made an appointment one week prior for Saturday afternoon. I called the day before the appointment to confirm, and the same day during the morning. Each time a woman answered, they did not appear to see my appointment but told me to come. Upon my arrival, there were two clients waiting. No one told me how long it would be until I would be next. The two clients before had been waiting a while, seeing how they would be first is not impressive. I waited several minutes and decided to leave due to lack of communication by anyone working. Make sure to make an appointment and expect to wait if there are clients ahead.

She is meticulous, a perfectionist and very sweet. My shellac mani lasts 2-3 weeks, gentle removal which is important and best of all, my nails have grown longer and stronger in the process! I leave with silly smooth feet thanks to a combination them using a foot shaver (you have to request it) and the electronic foot buffer. Great prices, beautiful nails in a clean, cute place. A lot of walk ins, so if you find a nail tech you like, it's best you schedule am actual appointment. They also offer waxing.

They checked my appointment and said I would start with the eyebrow mapping, but the tech was with someone, so told me to have a seat and she would come get me when she was done. I arrived early, so that was fine. I sat for 10 minutes, now 5 minutes after my appointment was due to start. A tech had come out and had someone pay, but didn't come get me, so I assumed she wasn't who would be doing my service. I continued to wait, then got up and looked at some of the items they have for sale. The tech was sitting at the front desk on her phone. She asked if I have an appointment, I said yes, for eyebrows, and she says "oh! That's with me!" Apparently it didn't occur to her that the person waiting was her client. The service was good. She mixed the tint too light the first time and offered to redo it, which I agreed to. After that, the nail tech greeted me and we sat down to do the mani portion of my mani-pedi. She complained that she'd done too many feet that day, so we would start with nails. She was helpful in assisting me with picking a colour. However she did not tell me that the one she suggested, which I accepted, was quite significantly more expensive than what I originally booked for, and I feel like an upcharge should be specified before performing the service. I got cat-eye polish, and that came with a "nail art" surcharge on top of the upcharge for that specific gel. I was also unsure about the sterility. She took the tools out of a plastic container with some liquid in it, not out of a sealed pouch or electric sterilizer. She suggested I do the same polish on my toes as well, and I knew I would be charged more for gel on the toes instead of a regular pedicure, but not by as much as it was. I also find that she rushed my pedicure as when I arrived home, I noticed that my toe nails were jagged and rough, and I had to file them myself, and I had a lot of dry skin still on my feet that I had to remove as well. What was originally booked as $135 (before tax) ended up being $195 (before tax), and none of that was ever told to me. The tech rushed, and mentioned several times how I'm the last client of the day and she'd had a long day. She was pleasant, not rude, she made conversation, very personable. But not impressed with the lack of transparency.
