My problem: neck and mid back pain, tension in my shoulders and neck (basically I'm a stress-case). I found Dr. Lelke through my insurance company (American Specialty Health). I considered massage therapy but Dr. Lelke uses a variety of soft tissue techniques in addition to traditional chiropractic treatment. It was really easy to make an appointment through her website. In my first appointment, she was thorough in her assessment, she explained how she would treat my issues, and how long my treatment would take. She used a variety of techniques to resolve my issues. I've had three visits with Dr. Johanna Lelke while she was with Innersport. She had good knowledge and sensibility with muscles and their issues. However, when it came to the bread and butter of delivering a good chiro adjustment, she just couldn't do it. On all three visits she couldn't make the one adjustment I really needed to feel better. I have been working with Dr. Nick Predtechensky for about 8 months and cannot overstate the tremendous progress I have seen. I am 26 years old and have had a persistent hip issue for the last 3.5 years and have seen countless specialists/tried every remedy possible (physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncture, acupressure, cortisone shots, dry needling, surgery - the list goes on and on) and never got any relief. As the pain persisted and the specialists I saw weren't able to help me, my goal changed from being able to get back to the activities I love (mostly running) to just making it through the day without pain. Dr. Nick is so attentive and has been incredibly persistent and dedicated to getting me pain free and for the first time in over 3 years, I have been able to start running again. With many of the other specialists I've seen, when I did not respond to treatment in ~6 weeks, they largely gave up on me and suggested I see someone else. Dr. Nick has been patient with this pesky injury, while also constantly staying in tune to what provides relief for me and giving me new exercises and strategies so I can keep making progress.
