The Convention Center is large and spacious building with more than 1 floor, plus the staff there is on it. They keep the floors and restrooms clean. No outside food or drinks as they have a snack bar, coffee and drink counter. It is a bit pricey for said food and drink items. You have to pay to park and no in and out privileges. Luckily we were staying at a hotel nearby and walked over to the event. read more

We had a good day here yesterday as the dance competition season kicked off for my daughter. I didn't see any event information on the website and didn't see any definitive answer on the cost of parking on the website either. I had the foresight to figure they'd most likely charge for parking so I went to get some cash. Sure enough, parking was $15. Much to my surprise, it is actually a no cash facility, everything is digital or by card. Parking onsite seemed a bit steep but the convenience made it worth it. Absolutely no outside food or drinks were allowed inside the venue. This forced us into the concessions stand line which was a bit slow and overpriced. My bottle of water was $5.44 with tax. The facilities were clean and well organized. It was easy to find where we needed to be. Signage was slightly confusing outside--thankfully there were plenty of security guards that were knowledgeable and helpful to get us where we needed to be. Signage inside was perfect. Having paid so much for parking, myself and some of the other parents were tempted to venture off and check out the other events that were going on at the same time lol! I come here every year for the California Trucker Show. The convention center is huge, unfortunately they always have parking blocked off (I believe for vendors and employees only) so you have to pay to park and walk across the street a little ways. Every year they have a little area for Big Rigs to show off their builds on the outside parking lot and many vendors there selling merch. On the inside, there are many companies there recruiting workers for employment. Also different insurance and brokerage companies there as well. It's a great mix with a little bit of everything. Free merch and spin the wheel games for prizes. Beers are about 17 dollars a can. Hourly raffles. There's a little cafe spot inside as well that says food and drinks. Usually I come there first and their foods pretty good. Best part is it is free for the public and takes about 2 hours to go through every part. I've found a short term job there, brought a friend and got several job leads for him there, I always come out with about 10 new work t shirts and 10 work hats and an all around fun experience for a Sunday morning. FANTASTIC CON VENUE! I've been here for a business conference and annually for Anime Expo Chibi, I never get enough of this convention center. It's modern, clean, and has plenty of space for vendors, attendees, outdoor activities and live performances. The Ontario Convention Center is certainly a chameleon that adapts to any event, I've heard it's fun for CreepIE con too! The convention center fit an artist alley, exhibit hall, panels, food village, multiple stages, and an outdoor market all on the premises! It's perfect for Anime Expo's little brother. I LOVE that it's easy to navigate and find wherever you need to go! The signage is excellent and there's plenty of staff to help guide you. The convention center has some decent food and drinks. It's expensive fast food fare for the most part but it's definitely edible. I mainly purchase drinks from the convention center to keep me hydrated as they're cheaper than buying from an outdoor food vendor. The convention center doesn't have parking on the premises so you basically have to cross the street to access their lot. I was charged $25 bucks per day to park my car. I felt safe leaving my car in their lot as there were attendants monitoring the area. The convention center is close to several hotels and is somewhat walkable from a few restaurants. read more

I've been here a few times and I enjoy how open this convention center is in terms of lights and size. That matters when you are working or doing a show for a few days. It can get so claustrophobic if the rooms are dark and smaller. This center is open and be and fresh. I loved the options for food, decent prices. And the parking is easy to find and pay for in the front. There is no come and go option, but Starbucks is walking distance away. Random thought, the restrooms are super clean and there were so many there was no wait at any part of the day. I will be back. read more

I didn't even know Ontario had a convention center until Creep I.E. Con was announced for January, so of course we headed west to Ontario! This massive convention center is located in a random area with really lackluster parking, luckily we were able to score free street parking down the street so that headache was avoided. Once we walked over to the convention center, this place was running pretty smoothly with minimal lines, it was very clean, and overall the place just looked nice, if a little dated. I was a big fan of the size of the hallways and the way the main floor was setup, so thumbs up for that. It's hard to review something like a convention center sometimes because of how it's hard to know if the issues you have are with the convention or the actual building, so I'm just going to talk about my biggest issue here. We mainly went to this convention for a panel with The Lost Boys.....which was rescheduled with hardly any notice and barely advertised (not my complaint). The panel was moved to I believe 1PM so when we found out we headed right over and arrived at 1:01PM when we were not let in by employees.....okay, so you guys couldn't give a 5 minute window for people who literally just found out about this thanks to poor announcing? Either way, it was annoying and sucked. Overall, the Ontario Convention Center is a solid enough venue and one I would come back to for another show. I really didn't like the Lost Boys situation, but I can't knock the venue alone since fingers are hard to point at times regarding times and doors being locked. Oh well. read more

Came here for a quilt show. This was my first time at Ontario Convention Center. I was impressed by how clean it was, particularly the bathrooms. Definitely smaller than the LA Convention Center but that's to be expected. You can park in their official lot for $15 across the street and they provided a shuttle over if you needed it. Idk if they always have the shuttle or if it depends on the demographics of whichever convention is going on, but it's worth noting. I personally parked on the street because there was ample parking and it was FREE. read more

Gun Show My SO and I attended. Parking fee is $15 and can only be used once. You can't be in and out of the parking. Tickets were $16 + $2, ticket price allows entrance for both days. The Hall that was used was not huge like the one in Long Beach. But it was enough to accommodate vendors. At the entrance, the security asks you if you want to be stamped so you can be in and out of the Hall. The Main event is the Gun Show but there are vendors selling knives, foods, outdoor backpacks, ammo's, jewelry and gemstones. I have noticed though that there are more customers buying ammo's. Probably they have a good deal. My SO found what he came for, purchased and we left. The temperature inside was too cold for us. Facilities inside the hall and outside. As well as ATM's, I saw 2 of them. Vendors give a good deal when you pay in Cash. There are 2 food vendors inside too. *My first time and it will not be the last. It wasn't bad. read more

Attended CreepIE on 9/20-9/21/2024. They don't allow outside food. Producer of CreepIE told us that Ontario Convention Center offers vegan options, however, due to poor communication between Ontario Convention Center kitchen staff and non kitchen staff , they only have the vegan options if you order from the non kitchen staff. How does that even work? They don't even allow in and outs from the parking lot either. You'll have to pay again! This is unfair for the people who eat vegan food, people who rock a vegan lifestyle, and those who have food allergies. I went through the whole event hungry and wanting to leave to get food. It's easy to navigate to this convention center, wherever you may be coming from. They have two main parking lots that you'll be directed to, upon arrival. Parking will vary from $10-$15 depending on your event, and yes they will accept cards. The convention center itself has high ceilings and is decent sized. It's nothing like the L.A. or Long Beach Convention Centers, but perfectly adequate for smaller events! Their bathroom facilities were clean (just speaking for the women's restroom) and food options are a cafe area and also some burrito/taco stand. On my last visit, I went for the burrito bowl which was chicken, rice, beans, and choice of sides. Came to about $10.50 with tax. Flavor was okay, but I was not hungry afterwards! But yeah, cool convention spot. I also spoke with their convention staff over the phone and they were helpful with my questions prior to the event. I forgot the name of the lady I spoke with (she was so helpful though!), but she was great. read more

I most recently came here to pick up my race packet for the REVEL Big Bear Marathon. Parking was $10. I had lunch nearby, so I decided to just walk over and save a few bucks. Along the way, I noticed that there was free curbside parking along Convention Center Way adjacent to the DoubleTree Hotel. So there are free parking options if it's just a quick in and out visit to the convention center. As always, this convention center is spacious, clean, and well maintained. If it's a rainy day, they'll even provide a plastic bag for your umbrella. As is the norm these days, there's security screening at all entrances. read more

First time here! Attended a Sports Card show at the Ontario Convention Center. The show was packed with people, but it was still roomy inside. Did not feel claustrophobic. There was quite a bit of parking. Rate was $15 for the parking. Sign was wrong because it said we should have been charged only $10. Disappointing that the Ontario Convention Center charged extra for the parking that day. Facilities were clean and spacious. There were a few snack areas including inside the humongous room where the card show was held. Security team was cool. Restrooms were clean. Every year, we attend a huge karate tournament here. This year, it rained rained rained so it was super cold inside the convention center. This would be great if it was summer, but it is winter right now, and it's super cold (you know Californians think 50*F is cold ), but seriously, it is COLD! The bathrooms inside were not kept up during the event, so it looked raggedy as the day went on. The hallway bathrooms were very clean and kept clean throughout the day - 2 thumbs up on that. We got food from The Market (the food sold from there). We got the pizza (not that good, it needed sauce and tasted like Chuck E Cheese cardboard pizza), the ham sandwich (I recommend getting this) and the chicken fingers (I recommend this too). Food wasn't bad considering... There was security that checked your bags, and you walked through a metal detector like at the airport. I understand the reason for this, but man, the line was super long and there were lots of people standing outside in the rain waiting for security. Not convenient at all. Parking was plentiful, which was a plus. A good venue for a big event. read more

Lot's of parking and it was my little ones graduation. It held well an entire highschool and some family. No food vendor's no stressed out staff. In fact they all appeared chilaxed. Now this establishment lost a star due to the reason of the parking lot. To get out it's not fun, especially at night. Maybe hire more staff for bigger events? Over all, it was good experience because they do not charge parking. Lots' of clean restrooms. Easy to read signs to get around. Lot's of ushers to help navigate too. Near the 60 Fwy. Came here for the administration of the California Bar Exam. General parking was $10, not bad considering the Doubletree next door charges $15/day for their guests per night. These applicants sneak to park at the Doubletree for free and walk across the way to the Convention Center anyway. No joke. The room I was in was comfortably temp controlled. Not too hot, but too cold. I was told by a previous bar exam taker here that the A/C was sent on artic freeze. Lol. Not the case for me, but I dressed in layers just in case. Tables used were those collapsible portable tables and the chairs used were regular convention-style chairs used at conferences. Cushioned, but not comfortable or ergonomically for seating for 4 sessions in three-hour intervals over 2 days. Bring a back cushion. It's a day later and my body is completely paying for it. Water dispensers were placed outside the ballrooms with disposable water cones. Restrooms were well stocked and clean. There's no shade for the hundreds of bar applicants standing outside before doors are opened to the convention center, so be aware that its 90ish° outside in July and you'll be waiting out in the sun. The convention center has columns and that's where many sought shade or under the stairs. If I have to go for round two of the bar, it will likely be in February. Not expecting any changes with the venue, but I'll be better prepared. read more

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Convention Center. My children participate in a sports that requires us to travel to convention centers all across America so I've been to at least a dozen, and this is firmly the worst. $10 parking is reasonable, although in hindsight I probably should have just parked in the Holiday inn next door. Ontario is a very low population density area with many parking options. There was a bulldog show going on at the same time. It was adorable to see them walking around but there was the stench of animal feces everywhere. My biggest issue was that there was a security and bag check at the door. You would need to enter your pockets and have a wand search your body. They also enforced the no food and drink policy. This is particularly ridiculous for an athletic competition. Instead you had the option of buying food from their overpriced vendor. One of the options was $16 "Nachos Grande" which is pictured below. $6 water bottles were also available. The water fountains were blocked off, presumably for financial purposes. Pretty disgusting venue overall, hopefully somebody will read this and decide not to host their event there. read more

Review is for the con center & staff. Came here for Anime Los Angeles and honestly, the first day was kind of a nightmare due to how backed up the lines were for bag/security check and the no food allowed policy. However, the convention staff lightened up and allowed food from the food trucks outside and by the second half of the second day, the security check became much more efficient. It ended up raining during the event, but not once did the center become a wet, puddle-ridden mess. Staff made sure that it was all mopped up ASAP. I also really liked how courteous they were with opening doors for us as convention guests. As for the convention itself, it made use of the space very well and the hallways were spacious enough to fit many attendees. The natural lighting near the cafe is a super nice touch and perfect for lots of photo opportunities. I also like that there are actual shrubbery near the con center, giving some diversity to the photos. It would have been nice if the entirety of the event was in this convention center, but a lot of it had to be spilled over to the surrounding hotels. And not on the convention center itself, but be careful about walking the sidewalks in front during an event. Several confrontational individuals trying to shove their mix tape CD scam onto unsuspecting pedestrians. read more

They change the rules to entry mid event. We wasted so much money throwing away food. All weekend our dancers were able to bring in snacks. At the end of the event Sunday evening they changed the rules making many girls late for their routines or forced to throw away food. Either staff your event appropriately for consistent rules. This convention center was fantastic! They had well-organized parking (for a fee) with plenty of spaces. No ins and outs on the parking, but that was fine. There were plenty of bathrooms, and they were both clean and spacious. There are a ton of different rooms of different sizes as well. Even though it is a relatively small convention center, nothing felt cramped or overcrowded even at a fairly large convention (Creep I.E. Con). They have a handful of small food places inside too, so you won't go hungry! I enjoyed my time there and would absolutely go back for future events. read more

The grounds were well cared for and the inside had lots of natural light and was taken care of. There was a cafe with salad, parfait, sandwiches and some quick snacks. I came here to attend a conference a few days ago. The parking situation was horrible. Parking was supposed to be complimentary. There were no signs outside guiding traffic and I was apparently trying to enter the parking on the wrong side. We eventually had to turn around and go across the street and pay for parking! Inside it was a typical convention center but surprisingly enough the restrooms were not labeled up high like the ballrooms. The temperature was good. Sometimes at convention centers the AC is super high, which makes it cold and uncomfortable, but this was good. Came here for ECC 2018 event. Parking was a little hassle I didn't find a parking structure they coned off the B and C lot when I first arrived so got directed to lot D across the street you can see the runaway for the Airport on the other side. Trying to get to a main entrance which was difficult cause all the doors were locked they had one non glass door area for the entrance into there and in the back area was the VIP entrance I guess this was the only event going there I guess maybe that's why all the doors were locked. It's a nice convention center but for this event didn't seem well organized there were no signs posted only right at the door which was blocked by the security so it wasn't an easy spot. Overall a nice place I'm sure I'll be back for another event now that I know where it's at and kinda of how to get around. read more

I had been to the convention center a few times. It was literally miserably FREEZING every time. When asked if they can fix the temp, we were told they couldn't. Poor people had scarfs, jackets and I even saw gloves on someone. It was so cold it was truly miserable. People kept complaining about the temp...it was sad...especially elderly people. This review is for the Mother's Day Brunch that I attended yesterday which really should've been called, Scott Keo, This is Your Life. The cost was $41, the food was excellent, the lines were much longer this year (the set-up for the buffet was on one side only, last year you could access the buffet on either side) and I believe attendance increased by a lot since they moved the buffet set-up out to the lobby area and had the room packed with chairs and tables from either end. Would I recommend this Mother's day brunch next year? Yes, if they change the entertainment back to Elton John or someone else that doesn't turn the event into their own personal comeback tour. PROS: Free parking, cost is at a decent price for what you're getting, immediate seating, plenty of food and a variety of healthy selections as well as comfort food favorites, lots of space to move around even though it was full of people. CONS: The buffet lines were long and not really well directed, aside from the centerpieces on the tables it's pretty much bare walls and not decorated inside, by the time I sat down to eat I was distracted by the entertainment and then once the show was over we were asked to leave, entertainer guy took up a lot of time talking about himself and his career and not a lot of time singing or interacting with the crowd (other than his own family and friends). TIPS: 1) GET THERE 20 MINUTES EARLY - so you can be seated right away, map out the buffet set-up and beat the lines. I spent literally 40 minutes waiting to get regular scrambled eggs, only to find out I was in a line for the omelette station and I could've just gone to the other side of the station to get eggs. Same scenario with the waffles; there was a waffle station and a buffet tray full of some generic waffles. Beat the rush and get there early. 2) LINE DIES DOWN DURING PERFORMANCE - So once the performance started the lines went down drastically. Probably better to wait until the performer comes on stage to start heading to the buffet if you arrived late or even on time. 3) NO BALLOONS ALLOWED - My sister bought 16 balloons for my mom and was told they weren't allowed inside. I could see why as this would obstruct other peoples' view. 4) DON'T SIT IN FRONT OF THE STAGE - I thought it was cool my sister got us a table just to the left front corner of the stage, but once I sat down mid performance and started eating I noticed the table next to us turned their seats around so they could watch the performance. In essence, I was scarfing my food down while everyone was looking at me...err the stage. Next time, I'd like a table away from the front of the stage. PERFORMANCE - Last year was my first year attending Mother's Day Brunch at the Ontario Convention Center and I had low expectations, but I was blown away by the Elton John impersonator/performance complete with a band and grand piano. The sound was excellent, the set list was lit and it was like attending a real Elton John concert with Elton John in the platform shoes, with a feather boa, etc. This year I was a little sad that they were going with a Michael Bublé tribute band, but hey, he's a classy guy and it's a classy occasion so it goes with the whole Mother's day brunch theme. I was expecting some nice crooner tunes with little to no talking, but instead I learned about a guy named Scott Keo and his whole family. His dad is a coach of whatever sport you can think of, his wife is his manager, his young son was his opener and played a few tunes on the piano and he had a daughter at 12 years old and because of his relationship with her mother he thought he'd never see her again, #CoolStoryBro. Turns out, his daughter lives in South Carolina and recently got married and she asked Scott to walk her down the aisle. You know what that means? A Scott Keo original song was born and guess what, he surprised everyone (even his own band) and performed it. He also has a mother and his parents live up the street. OH, his elementary band teacher was there too and he asked her to count them into a song, "...and-ah-one, and-ah-two..." So I've never attended a Michael Bublé concert, but I know he likes to interact with his audience but the audience interaction during this Mother's Day Brunch was long and drawn out and unnecessary. I would've preferred if he stuck to the hits and not tell me the story of his failed relationship with his eldest daughter's mother (it's mother's day Scott, not fathers day) or sang the original song he wrote about walking his daughter down the aisle that no ones heard or cares to hear. I've never heard of Scott Keo before yesterday but the way he performed you would think he was some sort of hometown hero from Rancho Cucamonga doing us a favor by performing at the Ontario Convention Center for the mothers of the Inland Empire. In the words of American Idol Judge Randy Jackson, "It's a no for me dawg." Please bring back Elton John or hire Phil Shane in 2019. read more
