My son attended KinderCare Ontario, starting in the infant class and later moving into the toddler class. In the infant room, I didn't have many major concerns, although I did notice issues with cleanliness at times, as my son frequently came home sick with hand, foot, and mouth disease or other viral infections. Once he transitioned into the toddler class, my concerns increased. The environment often felt unorganized, with one teacher responsible for what seemed like a large group of around 15 children. Around 5:00 PM, older children were sometimes combined with the toddlers, which made me uncomfortable. My son had several incident reports, but when I asked for details, staff were often unsure of what happened, and in some cases, incident reports were not properly documented. There was also an instance where my son injured his lip and it reportedly took about 30 minutes for him to receive an ice pack, which was very concerning. On another occasion, he came home with sticks in his diaper, and there was even a time he came home with a black eye. Overall, I felt the facility was understaffed and that management did not adequately address staffing levels relative to the number of children enrolled. While the teachers did provide activities for the children, it was difficult for them to maintain consistent supervision with so many children and limited staff. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend this location. read more

This Kindercare is amazing! My daughter has been going here since she was 6 months old and she is 3 now. My daughter has learned so much being here and they have a curriculum for each month. They have helped with making sure my kid reaches her milestones and made potty training easier. I recommend anyone and everyone to bring their children here. Staff is amazing and you can tell they really care about the children. They accept subsidized payments as well. I was afraid for my 3 year old son to attend daycare in general because of the abuse I've seen on the web that happens at daycares. I did a lot of searching and picked the Ontario location which was the closest to my home/my sons school. The staff is very nice and so helpful and gave all the info I needed to feel comfortable signing my son up. Its now been 3 months and I haven't had 1 complaint about this place. Hes comfortable there and likes the staff. I love the fact that there's an app for the daycare. They let you know whenever your child gets checked in, goes potty, what they ate for snack time, how long they took a nap and they send random pictures of your child doing activities at daycare. I don't know if all daycares have an app but this is the most reassuring thing a mother could have. So awesome read more

ontario kindercare makes false reports to law enforcement! they will try to have cfs take your child from you! the center director megan will defend the actions of her staff saying they are mandated reporters. very ignorant staff members who should not be dealing with children if they do not take into account yhe mentality of a child if they see a bruise and ask the child who did that, which is a leading question so they get an answer naming a person so they can make an alligation of abuse to report. the teacher making the false report will choose to remain anonymous! in this case it was miss bree as identified by my daughter. a staff member who is clearly of low intelligence, spiteful and a liar who manipulates children. The director swore there were pictures she would not provide. my child had no bruises. the police confirmed that she had no bruises. it was a false report. Also Megan will threaten to disenroll your child out of retaliation when you say something about their irresponsible and criminal actions. ... Aside from that they will allow your child to be bitten to the point where there is severe bruising and broken skin and will let it happen multiple times, they do not change diapers more than 2 or 3 times in an 8 hour period and will l send kids home screaming and crying in pain from the severity of the rash. That was my experience with my daughter's first weeks there back in April/May. My son's last day is coming up, and I absolutely can't thank this place enough. Back in December 2019, our son was 9 months old and we desperately needed someone more reliable than who was watching him at the time. The center director Ms. Carrie was approachable from day one, and luckily there was a spot in the infant room ready for an immediate start. Price at the time for an infant was $320 per week for full time, 4-5 days per week. It has since then increased to $335. Ask the center for a full sheet on current prices per age group for more accurate accounts. I need to give a shout-out to Ms. Nicole, our son's primary teacher since he started. Back before COVID, parents were allowed inside the classroom, and I saw firsthand how well she cares for all the kids. The app was another perk I loved about KinderCare; you get live updates about diaper changes, naps, meals/snacks, and even photos if they take any that day. It was just the thing to encourage me when I had to go back to work sooner than I wanted to -- he would cry when I left, but a smiling photo would be uploaded in the next few minutes. Seeing him play outside, do different crafts, and learn different skills was also encouraging. For full transparency, I can't pretend everyday was perfect. There were less than a handful of instances where a bottle, blanket, etc. would get mixed up when packing to go home. At the beginning and end of the day, the infant & toddler classrooms also combine, which makes for a chaotic time (I witnessed an older toddler push my son for no reason before COVID), but the teachers try their best to address any skirmishes quickly. Any parents of toddlers should know what I mean. We take the pros against the cons and believe the center would never knowingly withhold events which led to a child getting hurt (they gave incident reports whenever my son was injured, and even once when he hurt someone else). All in all, we're thankful KinderCare was available and hope we can return should the need arise again. read more

After 2 summers of having my son attend KinderCare Ontario, I think I can write a fair and accurate review. Several years ago, my oldest son attended KinderCare in Sourthridge/Fontana and it was an amazing summer for him. They went on quality field trips and everyday was packed with activities and learning. This was why I decided to put my younger son in the Ontario center once moving out this way. The first year (8 years old) was concerning, as my son literally did nothing all day long. Everyday he would hand me a thick stack of coloring pages and would tell me how bored he was. I finally spoke with Ms. Kari who stated that she would talk to the teachers about implementing a learning curriculum. Throughout the summer, the best field trip they had was to an arcade and even then each child was only given $3 in tokens to play. This year, I asked my son if he wanted to look for another summer camp or go back and he wanted to go back because of the friends that he had made. I said, hey why not give them 1 more chance, but no. Same issues as he started off the summer spending everyday in the classroom not learning anything just coloring, playing cards and that's it all day. The field trips were still poor quality... park, free splash pad, low budget movie theater and that's it. My 2 stars are for Ms. Kari as she did address my concerns and was always friendly, but I would not recommend this center for older children who need planned activities, structure and to be engaged in things. read more

I absolutely love this center my daughter has been going here for over 2 years one was 7months when she started it the infant class and she has learned so much she is now in the 3-4 class and absolutely loves her teachers and friends she continues everyday learning new things which is awesome and my other daughter started when she was 6 weeks old and now is in the 2 year old class and she is also learning so much and enjoys going to play with her friends and the teachers in that class are also great to her.....Now let me tell you about Ms. Kerri and Ms. Danielle they are both awesome and always so helpful they always go above and beyond for all the kids I am glad they finally got a good team in the front, I love that Ms. Danielle is always so creative and has the center looking perfect and how loving Ms. Kerri is and always can tell if your having a bad day or you just need to talk to someone....Thank you all for the help with my 2 girls and I am happy they go to such a great center 5 stars for all..... read more

My child has been at this school for three years. Like most parents, I was very concerned about leaving my child in the care of strangers. After visiting 6 or 7 preschools, including other Kindercare schools, I chose Ontario Kindercare and have been pleased ever since. I selected this school because of the director, Miss Shauna. She is kind, understanding, patient and has high standards for the staff. So far, all of the teachers have been great to my child and I've always felt like they respected our feelings and valued our opinions. I feel safe leaving my child here and I'm grateful for the education the school provides. The tuition is pretty high, but they do provide assistance. Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) we do not qualify for the fee reduction, however, I am willing to pay more because I know my child is being cared for and is learning. I do notice quite a bit of staff turnover but are some great teachers there like Miss Sylvia and Miss Matilda. As long as Miss Shauna is there I know my child is in good hands. read more

My children have been attending Kindercare for two years. The center is open from 6am to 6:30 pm. It is conviently located 1 block from the 60 freeway. I first chose KinderCare Ontario for the hours and location. I continue to choose kindercare Ontario for not only the hours and location but for the quality of care my children receive and the atmosphere this learning center provides. I feel the staff really care about me and my children and our needs. I can go to work without worry and focus on my job because I am confident my kids are in good hands. My preschooler loves her teacher Ms. Florie. Ms. Flories class is structured and organized, conducive to early education. My little girl is leaning to write. She knows her alphabet and can count to 100! My first grader also loves to go to KinderCare afterschool. He gets his homework done then has fun with other children while leaning important social skills. His teachers Ms. Matilda and Mr. Timothy are the perfect combination for the school aged class. Ms. Matilda is Motherly, caring and compassionate, wise with experience. Mr. Timothy is a nice young man whom my son thinks is "cool"( a great role model for both young boys and girls alike.) Together, Mr. Timothy and Ms. Matilda maintain a safe and fun learning environment for school aged children 5-12 years old ( An impressive feat to accomplish.) The Director Ms. Shauna is easily approachable and friendly. She understands my needs and is able to accommodate them. She always has time for me whether I show up in person or call her on the phone. She shares funny stories and praise about my children. When Ms Shauna isn't there the Assistant Director Nicole is available and able to help me. Ms. Elsie, Ms Sylvia and Ms. Florie are there at 6am. They are always friendly and professional even when myself or my children are early morning grumpy! Free Coffee and snacks for the parents to grab on the go have often fulfilled my caffeine need in the am! read more

My daughter went here almost a year ago. She was attending the preschool /daycare Ages 3-4! Everything was good at first until she started coming home saying she was bullied but a girl in her class. I talked to the teacher she always told me everything was okay and nothing happens. So my daughter kept coming home sad and I asked her again. So I decided to go up to the school and talk with the teacher myself cause at this point my daughter didn't want me to leave her there. And when I got up there my daughter pointed the little girl out and told me her name . So I said to the teacher "I would like to talk to you about "blank" " she goes that's my daughter I'm like okay my daughter comes home and tells me your daughter hits and pushes her everyday and she doesn't let her play with the toys. So the teacher/little girl mom goes "well your daughter hits as well" I'm like why is this the first time of me hearing about this ? My daughter knows better. Story short the teacher/mom didn't do anything about it so I had to pull my daughter from there and she never went back. read more

This is a delayed review but my daughter started 3rd grade today which triggered a memory from this school when she went to preschool here. My daughter attended for a very short time and started halfway through the school year. She would cry hysterically when I would drop her off and I did not understand why as the teacher was very fake to my face and would talk beautifully about my child and how she was helping her transition. When my daughter finally told me what was going on she said she had 2 bullies and one of them was her teacher. It's no wonder the other kid thought that they could do that. I wrote this review because I feel the anger right now that 4 years later that my child still has this memory. She recalls how she did the work handed to her, she turned it to her teacher, the teacher yelled at her that she did it wrong, tore it up and threw it in the trash. The worst part is that they teacher never showed her what she did wrong or how to fix it. My daughter still remembers that. When I found this out I immediately pulled her out of the school. And wouldn't you know it, my kid is a smart straight A student thank God that teacher did not get the opportunity to create lies in my daughter's mind. I would not recommend this kindercare to any parent unless drastic changes have been made in the last 4 years. read more

At time that my son was attending this daycare, the morning staff was great, it's the afternoon staff that's bad, apparently at the time that my son was attending this daycare, the daycare had to do cuts. Hired lazy staff with no experience and ROP kids to take care of the facility. No supervision whatsoever every time I would pick up my son, my son was furious, sad, depressed and most of all emotional. My son was being physically slapped around, hit by other and older kids and always hungry. The management wouldn't do anything about it I had no other choice but to move to another Kinder Care where my kid is actually happier now. As a parent I would never recommend this daycare to anyone they really need to get rid of all the staff. Get rid of the management at this facility. And hire people who cares about kids who want to make a difference and inspire them, it's sad to say this daycare like so many other day cares only seem to care about the money, this facility doesn't have what your kids need. read more

This kindercare is by far the most unorganized and disappointing place that I could have ever placed my child in. The director(Shauna) is such a nightmare to work with. She definitely makes you feel like her center is nothing but the best and she's done so much to turn things around but once you commit to putting your child in there her true colors begin to show. There has been so many incidents but just to name a few.. I would call into check on my child and it felt like I was bugging her. Just the tone in her voice would make me feel bad to call again. The director including her staff never new the simple answers to my questions such as what did he eat for breakfast or lunch?.. Which told me they were not accurately charting like they should have been. They also told me they do activities to help stimulate my child but multiple times I have walked in unannounced and have found my child all alone on the cold tile floor with no socks on crying by himself while the teacher is just sitting on the rocking chair holding another child and having HIP POP music playing in the background! As soon as I walked in she jumped up and stated he's really fussy today as she walked over to the radio to turn it down! I was floored and I did bring my concerns to the director and assistant and again the same conversation that "they would bring this to the teachers attention." This happened on more than one occasion. I do want to mention my child would come home with different diapers that were not even his which made me really upset. I did ask the staff and of course nobody knew how the mix up happened. It always felt very inconsistent and pressuring there. I think the director carries herself on a thrown and thinks she can talk to parents with an attitude. The staff always seemed to fear her as well.. What really pushed me to the edge was seeing my child so unhappy when we would drop him off.. When I would call I felt like they would always tell me what I wanted to hear.. And when I picked him up he would be so fearful of me leaving. This behavioral pattern was to usual for him. He never had attachment issues until kindercare Ontario. Along with this behavior my son was also hitting himself in the face or the head over and over. I finally had enough and I removed my child right away! I knew in my heart he was not being treated right and maybe because I would voice my concerns, which the director and assistant could not stand. But how can you blame a mother who loves her child to death? Whatever decision you make please keep my review in mind. Trust me there's so much more I can say but I'd be here all day! I definitely would not recommend this place if your child could not speak!! As mothers and fathers we know our child so well and we have to be the best judge and go with our gut feelings. this kinder care has no social skill for the kids. they take pictures of kids doing activies, but don't really help the kids with the projects. they put the kids through so many changes,changing teacher constantly for one reason or another breaks ,vacations to save money. there main concern is labor.and while they make excuse for the kids bad behavior, it really is the teachers fault for not using good skills in redirecting the children. they are only 3 and 4 year olds that they are having revaluated for there behavior and in reality they are the ones that need some retraining child development.it is a wonder they are even open read more

I recently took my 2 children out of this facility, and glad I did. Since my children were already in Kindercare, and we moved I was glad to find one so close to our new home. This place was a complete nightmare!!! From day one my children were unhappy and never wanted to go in the mornings and I figured it was due to moving. The Director and Assistant Director are incredible and not in a good way. The assistant director Nicole literally looked annoyed to be there everyday, yes I know working with kids is hard but why look like your miserable everyday. The director is a real piece of work as well. My boys ended up getting lice. How boys who have short hair to begin with, how do they get lice!!!??? I ended up shaving their heads. When I told the Director, she looked annoyed that I brought it to her attention and was like "Great, now I have to do a head check". Later that same day I went online to pat my balance I had of $80 and found they had attached a late fee, I really thought that was odd since I knew the month before I had a way higher balance and wasn't given a late fee for that. So it really looked like I was given a late fee for complaining that my boys got lice. I also found out the extra classes I was paying, weren't even being done some times so I was paying for classes that my children weren't even partaking in. I'm glad I got my kids out of there when I did. The teachers that I did interact with were great teachers, Miss tyra (my son loved her and still asks for her), Miss Diana, Miss Bri, and Miss Mariam, Those were great ladies. As for the Director and Assistant Director, I dont see how they are still employed there let alone running the place.
