I live in Cudahy and they came to pick my dog in the mornings and dropped him in the afternoons. They've taken my dog to dog parks, various trails, beaches, state parks, and they send pictures and videos to let you know your fluffy friend is happy. They care about where they take your dog too, so if it's super hot out they find a place to cool off for the day while still exercising your doggo. If it rained out, they check the pH levels of the beach to make sure it's safe and will avoid if it's not. They're timely with pick ups and drop offs too, and their super trust worthy; in fact I gave them the key to my house and they were nice enough to feed/water my pup and gave him a treat before they left. To cap things off they're some of the kindest people I've ever met. If you need someone to watch your little tail wagging friend, call these gals. Whenever we have concerns, the doctors and techs have bent over backwards to make sure we had all the answers we needed. From the receptionists to the techs and doctors, we've been treated with nothing but respect and compassion every time we have visited. The clinic is always clean and never too crowded. The people are great. The location isn't the most convenient but that is easily made up for by the experience once you get there.

I am absolutely furious and heartbroken over the care my dog, Milli, received at this clinic. I…read moretrusted this veterinarian with my baby, and I will never stop wondering whether that trust cost her valuable time. Milli suddenly lost mobility in her front leg, which was extremely concerning because this was not a gradual change. We brought her in because we were very concerned and expected them to investigate why this was happening. Instead, we were told that they performed a chemistry blood test and a heartworm test, diagnosed her with arthritis, and sent her home with anti-inflammatory medication. That diagnosis did not make sense to us. Arthritis is something that typically develops over time. Milli's loss of mobility happened suddenly, yet no neurological cause was investigated or even discussed with us, and we were not referred to a neurologist. A few weeks later, because Milli was still having problems, we took her to another veterinarian. They performed a full blood panel and referred us to a neurologist, where we discovered that Milli had suffered a stroke. This is the part I cannot get past. A stroke can require immediate recognition and treatment, and I will forever wonder what could have happened if her condition had been recognized when she first suddenly lost mobility. We lost precious time because we were told it was arthritis. I am devastated that I brought my dog in for help and left believing she simply had arthritis, when something much more serious was happening neurologically. I feel this veterinarian failed my dog by not investigating the sudden loss of mobility more thoroughly and by not considering a neurological cause or referring us for a neurological evaluation. I trusted them to recognize that something was wrong with my baby, and instead we were sent home. Milli ultimately became critically ill and passed away. I will carry the heartbreak of this experience for the rest of my life, and one of the hardest things to live with is wondering whether earlier recognition of her stroke could have given her a better chance. I strongly encourage any pet owner whose dog suddenly loses mobility or develops unexplained neurological symptoms to get a second opinion and advocate aggressively for further testing or a neurological referral. Do not simply accept "arthritis" as an explanation for a sudden change without asking questions. Milli deserved better. She deserved someone to look deeper when she needed help.
