The first time she did work on my kids and I, there were things that seemed a bit outstretched but surprisingly made complete sense to me and without understanding really why I was overwhelmed with emotions I couldn't control and was choking back tears. Still not fully on board but more open to the truth of energy healing, about a year or so later my 5 yr old son was having some terrifying dreams and seeing scary things for almost 2 years that I chalked up to a kids imagination. Then one day, I witnessed the reality of his fears. He was on the trampoline and when I called him in. He went to get off through the safety net entrance and as his hand touched the net he simultaneously screamed and jumped back, looked so the side of him (where there was nothing or no visual being), and shouted, "the bad dreams just tried to get me." My entire body from head to toe was instantly covered in goosebumps and it's as if I could feel the presence of whatever was there. My husband and I immediately contacted Carrie and had whatever needed done to protect our son. After battling this fear and bad dreams for what felt like forever (in his short life), it was almost instant after having work done that we all felt relief. I initially went in for anxiety. The consultation I received was very thorough and professional. I never once felt uncomfortable in the setting. The acupuncture itself was obviously not painful and the process was explained to me thoroughly before beginning. I felt much more relaxed afterwards and truly feel that a few treatments helped my anxiety. The visible result came months later- I was bit by a dog multiple times on my legs and feet. I required surgery for these bites- my foot was a mess. I couldn't walk for a bit, and then needed crutches for 3 months. When I started functioning again, I couldn't move the toes on my right foot (the one that had the surgery) and limped on it still. I used my next acupuncture treatment for my foot instead of my anxiety to see if it would help. After that one treatment, I stopped limping and could move all of my toes again- my boyfriend was absolutely amazed at the difference.
