I ordered the Spinach noodles with egg and tomato sauce and minced pork. The egg and tomato sauce adds a layer of flavor and a saucy wetness that really elevates the dish. By the time I was half way through and the elements were really getting all mixed up, it was reminding me of the best kind of bolognese. Texture was perfect. The place is used to be a KFC. I understand from economically point of view why they didn't renovate to be more look like a Chinese restaurant. The owner (husband) is originally from Hong Kong meanwhile the wife is from China mainland. He used to work for Jumbo dim sum in the west side of Edmonton. I have tried many dim sum places in Edmonton and Winnipeg. I've got hooked by its beefballs. In comparison of taste wise, it's the same goodness as I had in Victoria, BC. The buns tasted better than any dim sum places that I have been. The plus point is they have their own hot sauce which has a great flavour. Perfect balance between sourness and sweetness! Beef being super tender and juicy. Both options keeping me a creature of habit and making lazy dinner nights super easy and satisfying! It's great to see the guys doing so well and coming this far from where they started back in 2014.
