The man noticed after the transaction that it was American Express and he all of a sudden burst out which caught everybody's attention & telling my husband that American Express is not a credit card (what????) and talking to him as if my husband is an idi*t. Im glad my husband kept his cool bcoz his mom was there. It is not our fault that it caused them some fee for getting payment from Amex. He could have specified that they only accept Visa or MC. We came, eat and paid, he even got a tip of course! We are good customer but definitely doesn't deserve the treatment after the payment fiasco. I should have taken photos but I was too interested in devouring these little jewels. My partner ordered the Meat Jambalaya, he was blown away by the perfect seasoning, combination of the ingredients, Andouille sausage, smoked ham and chicken. He says he highly recommends this dish. Ordinarily, I go with the blackened fish of the day, but this visit I thought I would try Lou's Famous Fried Chicken. There is a reason it is "Famous". The chicken was juicy and tender, the coating was crisp and delicious. It came with a side of seasoned fries, delicious and tender. We desperately wanted the incredible Bananas Foster dessert but there was no way we could eat another bite, so we finished off with 2 BB King specialty coffees. You have to try one, if you go; delicious! Again, I forgot photos! Coffee, Bailey's and darned if I can remember the other ingredients. They are listed on the menu. All this to say that if you are visiting Montréal - this is a "Must visit" destination. We live 65 kms away and gladly brave the traffic to avail ourselves of this little treasure chest of Louisiana flavours.
