As a consignor: The young lady running the shop was pleasant and very professional when I scheduled and arrived at my consignment appointment. With my focus being different, it's changed my perspective on a few thrift stores that I used to just consider muh. So from a personal shopping perspective I stand by my original review. Clothing selection is minimal, more geared towards a more mature woman, but neatly arranged and of decent quality and organization. Kids items are also in short supply. As a reseller of vintage items I've found a few gems in the housewares selection, which is also small and limited but equal to the good sorting and organization as the clothing. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is always friendly. Often you can find dollar deal racks on the sidewalk. The hours are limited and not the most convenient for me. I recently discovered that the first Friday of every month is half price and this place gets packed! It's small and tight in some areas. The more I go the more I like this place, I just wish it was more convenient in hours and location. SIDENOTE: they do not allow you to use their restroom and direct you to Giant.

The store lives up to its name in that offerings are more on display vs resembling a garage or yard sale manner--more organized with space surrounding the houseware items. Clothes are neatly hung appear clean. I especially like viewing the donated China sets , gardening supplies and seasonal figurines. The prices range from reasonable to real bargains. Music adds to the relaxing browsing experience. Overall one of my favorite thrift stores!

Prism Thrift is a newer store, run by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Their mission is to support all body…read moretypes and genders. Instead of "women" and "men", racks are labeled "femme presenting" and "masculine presenting". They have a good sized inventory for a small store, and everything was in great condition. Prices were good, they have color rage sales, which is typical for thrift. I paid $7 for a pair of cotton shirts and $5 for a sisal hat - the hat was on sale. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and supportive without being overwhelming. I think it's a great addition to downtown Lancaster, and Im looking forward to visiting again soon.
