New business provides a variety of services to enhance. This location is located on Roosevelt…read moreblvd on the Westside of town, near Ortega area. (It's by the Chik-Fil-A. If you live on this side of town, that just pinpointed its location for you perfectly) :) I got a friendly tour and found out they offer a lot of services. They offer weight management, bloodwork?, red light therapy, hydrafacials, fat burning etc... I was interested in their full body, red light therapy sessions, and hydrafacial. I bought 2 hydra facials sessions since they were having a $50.00 discount on each service; so a "savings" of $100.00. I had my first session and it was disappointing. It was not what I've had in the past. The technician was kind and personable. However, if you are getting a facial of any type; 80% of the women getting this know exactly what it is, the process, and how it should feel because we've already been all over town and compared. The experience was very technical. He applied product, used his series of suction applications, did an extraction and applied more product. My session lasted a total of 29 minutes from the time he actually started touching my face. That right there is a "whattttt?" There wasn't any massaging the product in, or anything additional to the series of suctions. He did a total of 4 extractions, which is oddly quick for my face. No next or shoulder rub (which is ok I guess because I did get a discounted session and time is money) But no product on the neck or clavical area, which I thought odd. I didn't even have to change into a smock. Now, he did say if I was getting the more substantial hydrafacial with the red light therapy etc... it would be more expensive. I appreciated what I got but wasn't a service that matches others' quality or price around town. For instance, the place I usually go to, includes the red light therapy in it's price with neck and chest massages and time spent on extractions. I get an eye compress and lips oils. This service didn't even come with an eye cover. (That was a first) Perhaps, I got a limited service because of the Opening Price Discount but this was their opportunity to impress and get return business. It did not make me want to change to their store. Also, when I am getting a facial, I do not like it when the person is breathing on me. You smell their breath (which wasn't bad) but it's uncomforable to get someone elses breath on your face. I didn't say anything. Instead I just tried to hold my breath and breathe when they were taking breaths-in. I just feel I shouldn't have to tell them this. I'm sure they will improve and customize their store to their clientele. I want to be honest but I don't want to be harsh. After this review, I'll probably gift my remaining facial service to a friend and ask her about her experience. * I did only have this one service, so please take my review in stride. Looking forward to reading more reviews and maybe attending their establishment again.

I've had many hydro facials because of my sensitive skin and rosacea. This was by far the best one…read moreI've had. Adam was very professional and explained everything while he was doing it which was very helpful. And when I had to sneeze he knew exactly how to stop it! I'm glad I looked at the reviews on their website and tried it. It really was the best device I had. Just down to business and clinical. I'll be a regular.

If you are a diabetic, I highly recommend you go for the diabetes and nutrition classes here…read more Extremely informative and helpful! I was diagnosed with type II diabetes 10 years ago, but never did what I was suppose to. My sugar levels finally went flying out of control about 6 months ago and I had no choice but to finally listen to my doctors. One thing my doctors had been recommending for years were these classes. All of the nutritionists and dietitians here are excellent! Everything was explained to me so I fully understood. They never minded having to repeat themselves (sometimes several times) until I understood something. I'm tellin' ya, counting carbs, taking insulin, and checking sugar levels 6 times a day cannot only be overwhelming, but also confusing! I liked the fact I was able to have one-on-one counseling with a nutritionist and a dietitian. They were able to help me make personal meal choices according to my likes and dislikes. They are also very knowledgeable about eating out at restaurants and fast-food chains. I was surprised to find out they did not discourage it - they were able to help me be able to make good, informed choices when I do choose to eat fast-food. They are located in the Howard Building of Baptist Hospital downtown which is connected to the Pavilion. I have several of my doctors located in the Pavilion, so I pop in here every now and then with questions and they always make time for me. The nutritionists and dietitians make themselves readily available. I've called numerous times with questions and they are always happy to speak with me. Great group of people here who genuinely care about you and your health. You will not be just another number walking through the door. If you make the effort, they most certainly will as well!
