I stumbled upon this place when I was looking for another similar shop and once I entered the establishment, I was pretty impressed with the way the sales guy handled me. I don't believe in selling, I'm more of an educationist and like it when sales people take the time to explain different aspects of the products before they try to sell. The quality of the products is stellar and their selection is quite vast and includes leather jackets for men & women purses, wallets, handbags and duffel bags made from Italian leather of the highest quality. In the event they don't have what you're looking for, there is a good chance they can tailor make something for you in-house. So my secret is out: I used to live above this store. And for months I never went in, despite always saying hello to the owners every morning (and most evenings!). Finally, one day I went in. And it was rad. With a great range of £5 plimsolls in every imaginable colour, leather goods and fashion sunglasses, it's a great stop on any Brick Lane jaunt. And leather goods they have, with a large range of jackets and super-cute handbags, they also boast some great 100% leather weekender bags, all at reasonable prices. They also have cool sheepskin rugs, and random bits and pieces. Went back later in the day and picked up a bag and a jacket for myself. This time the jacket was somewhat more expensive but perfect for my needs and a very good fit - and it is the fit that counts! They can make you a jacket in a week and you can choose your own skin from the wide selection available. Did I mention the selection of bags? Tremendous. Found two really amazing leather bags for great prices here. Had to decide on one unfortunately being on a student budget. The goods are genuine leather and since the guys buy wholesale, they pass on the reasonable prices to customers. Mine comes with a lovely butterfly print, velvet lining. The owner/manager was really helpful and even offered to make one of the straps short so it was more proportional to my size. I was sceptical at first (was wary of being duped) but the service was lovely and the bags on offer are really stylish, versatile and on-trend for great prices! read more
