A few times when I was there former patients came in just to say hi and to give them a hug while they were in the area. They also have an app to help you with your therapy at home which was a big help. This is a great place to help you recover and I wouldn't hesitate going back if I ever need it.

The woman at the desk truly seemed to take pleasure in saying it would be months before I could be seen. Honestly, I've never thought that about any medical office but she was sneering and laughing. I told her I'd been in 10/10 psin since Friday night. I'm not a drug seeker ( or I would have gone to an ER). I wanted a consult and possibly a guided steroid shot to stop the pain. He usually spent only a few minutes with me, which I found disappointing for the cost. At my last visit, I arrived before another patient, but he chose to see her first. When it was finally my turn, he spent less than five minutes -- just a quick neck adjustment -- and then left. I was left lying there for about 30 minutes without him checking on me, until I finally got up and left on my own after being in his office for exact an hour. On top of that, when I felt I didn't receive proper treatment, I called and asked for either a reimbursement or another therapy session at no charge since he hadn't done his job. I made sure the receptionist understood that I wasn't going to pay, and she said, "Okay, hold on, let me check with him." When she came back, she told me I could come on a specific date. After driving 35 minutes to the office, she then told me I had to pay $95. I reminded her this was supposed to be a follow-up for the treatment I never received, but she insisted she had never confirmed I wouldn't be charged. Such a disappointing and unprofessional experience -- both with Dr. Lao and his receptionist. For the high prices they charge and the lack of care provided, I cannot recommend this practice to anyone.

My husband has been going here for his back and shoulder after a car accident. He most recently…read morewent in for a procedure for his frozen shoulder. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to guests. The waiting rooms are not comfortable, the seating is horrible and after sitting to wait on my husband during his procedure, I could hardly walk due to my back and hip being stiff. His appointment was for 8:15AM but told him to be there by 7:15AM, so we got there before 7:15AM and walked into the clinic to where we had to wait a bit. By 7:40AM, they called him back and by 1:30PM he was done. He was 1 of 3 patients to be seen that day for procedures and despite his only being a 15 minute procedure it took hours for them to get it done because the first patient had some complications during surgery. Which in a surgery center, this is expected. Upon taking my husband back, they assured me that they'd keep me updated on his progress, etc. but nobody ever came out to tell me anything. There was no staff member working at the service desk on the surgery side of the building so when I had to leave momentarily to go pick up my daughter from school or to even get an update on how much longer it'd be, I had to walk outside the building over to the clinic side to ask staff there. Similar experiences that my husband has had going here for his dr. visits to where they have him scheduled for an appointment and he waits for over an hour then is told that the dr. is in surgery so has to reschedule his appointment.

Our son, Maverick, has an extremely rare genetic disorder & has been receiving therapeutic services through Early Intervention since he was approximately 6 months of age. Until Miss Bailey, we were only familiar with PT & OT. Then, in walks Miss Bailey & our journey with speech therapy began... as much as we love all of our therapies, Miss Bailey's weekly sessions were easily Maverick's fave! Miss Bailey makes speech & language therapy FUN with music, stories, singing & a plethora of smiles!!! Maverick would giggle so much during each session, I'm sure his cheeks were sore, but only in the best of ways. Unfortunately, we recently aged out of Early Steps & transitioned into FDLRS, but we are hopeful we can resume services once we are approved for Medicaid, because I'm quite sure- we will never find another Miss Bailey.
