I'm an esmoker so I was hassled a little bit about smoking near the building so I just moved to the parking lot in my wheelchair. Food is rated 6 out of 10 in my opinion.

There are a dozen other examples, but bottom line is run away from this disaster of a rehab facility. It is a pure money grab, and nothing more. Other than the physical therapists, who are decent, the staff are all F- and the Director should be fired for incompetence.

The admissions director Jenny has made this stay at CareOne Oradell amazing as she came to visit me everyday. Very great customer service. As the next of kin for his medical care no one reached out to tell me about what was going going. They refused to take him to the hospital and actually tried to hide his illness from me. Upon arriving at the center I had to demand from the supervisor that he be transferred to the hospital. He was totally dehydrated and in a very bad state with quite possibly a case of pneumonia. My brother would lay in his bed day after day with little or no care or attention. On several occasions I found him with his pampers full of feces and urine. When I asked for help it either came an hour later if it came at all. The workers focused on stocking towels and bedsheets and not on the people who laid in their beds all day long. The supervisor are even less caring and spend most of their time staring at the monitors and barely want to speak with you when you ask a question. Although my brother had suffered a stroke he was alert and cognizant enough to understand that the management and workers at this facility had no intention of making him better and only wanted to hold onto him for as long as possible in order to milk the Medicaid coverage. They were supposed to have provided physical, occupational and speech therapy. My brother was there for four weeks and he did not receive one minute of these services although they probably did bill Medicaid for these services which were never delivered. Stay away from this place if you care about your family or any loved one. I cannot express this strongly enough.

But here's what makes them unique - They are very focused on your personal progress. They actually remember where you left off in the previous session. You get their solo attention for the full session ( no multiple clients at the same time) and they seemingly possess a never ending list of creative and different exercises aimed at getting you back to your healthy and active self. I came into PT feeling pretty bad about my injury and its limitations but I was constantly encouraged and surrounded by positivity-it made all the difference in my recovery!
