I had a wonderful experience at HCSC. I underwent a septoplasty by Dr. Rosemary Ojo from Englewood ENT. The practice uses this center for most of their procedures. Everything from start to finish went fine, and I was very happy with the level of service I received from this facility. In the week leading up to my surgery, I received several calls from both Englewood ENT and the Surgery Center to ensure everything was set for my procedure - from paperwork to schedule changes and beyond. I prefer more information than less, so I was happy to receive even a quick phone call or text to update me on even the slightest change. The hardest part about this center is the location - it's really tucked in to a bizarre neighborhood in Fort Lee. However, the location sent me a direct pin to the front door which really helped. (When looking it up on Google Maps, the ETA was slightly different. The listed location on Google Maps is not as accurate at the pin they provide, so use the location that the text message sends out.) I was also grateful for the message about the parking they sent beforehand - the place is undergoing construction and they gave us a head's up about how it may be different to find parking. Obviously, for a surgical procedure, one can expect to be there early to make sure everything runs smoothly. I arrived 90 minutes before my scheduled time (7:30am). The gentleman at the front desk was kind and informative. You basically submit everything before you go, so you only need to sign some paperwork before you go in. The waiting room is also very chill and comfortable, with a TV screen that gives you up-to-date patient information so your guest can know what's going on. Upon entering pre-opt, every person was lovely, kind, and informative. Shout out to Elmer who took my pre-opt notes while I was getting ready! I am a talker (especially when I'm nervous) and the nurses were very happy to engage in conversation with me. While I was finished and waiting to wake up from anesthesia, the Center and doctor called my dad to let them know how I was doing. Upon waking, AJ took care of me - she's awesome! I was skeptical about going to the surgery center at first. I do not like driving in Fort Lee, NJ! I took a dry run so I would know exactly where I was going. I discovered I needed to allow lots of time for traffic, especially in the morning. They called me pre-op to get all the necessary information and answered all my questions about my transportation. I was having local anesthesia, so I was able to drive myself home. When I arrived I was greeted and made comfortable in the waiting room. It is very clean! Pre op nurse Elmer did everything correct. Thank you to Josephine, RN who visited me in pre-op. It truly helps when you are a little nervous to have kind and considerate people speaking to you! They informed me of exactly what would happen. Or Nurses Cristina and Karen and Dr. Ekstein spoke with me pre op and during procedure so I knew exactly what was going on. Everything went according to plan. My recovery room nurse Lorraine gave me written and verbal instruction, offered nourishment and assistance, answered all my questions and saw me safely out of the building. I was very impressed with the center, the staff, the kindness and professionalism. I am a nurse and it's pretty hard to please us! A+ in every way. read more

Overall amazing experience. It all started at reception. Upon arriving for my surgery, all of my paperwork was ready for me to sign. Then I was greeted by nurse Jo who was simply outstanding. She was the very best nurse I have ever encountered in my 57 years of existence. She was so caring and so compassionate. She took an active interest in my wellbeing. The center was very clean. They had my walker and cane set up for me prior to surgery so I would be ready to utilize them post surgery. The anesthesiologist was very professional and friendly. My doctor, Neil S. Roth performed my surgery seamlessly. My nurse Louanne in Post-op was so compassionate and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about her. The surgical center and doctor's office both followed up with me the day after my surgery to assess if I had any questions or concerns. Overall A+ experience. read more

DO NOT GO! The worst experience I have ever had after a surgery. I have been to plenty of hospitals and none have treated me the way they did in HCSC. From the moment I woke up from surgery I was being rushed out, the nurse told me I was sleeping for an hour and 15 minutes and that the average time is 45 minutes. He went on to be rude, by sucking his teeth and rushing me out stating put on your clothes, urinate and go. I was so hurt that I wanted my phone to call my emergency contact, he rudely threw my coat at me. I then requested another nurse; he called another nurse rudely said whatever and out loud told the other nurse "He's been here for an hour and 15 minutes". In conclusion, if you guys don't want to feel like you are getting surgery at a fast food restaurant, do not go to this surgery center. Ps. I did make a complain to the administrator of the center and simply received a call back stating they are looking into the matter but can't share what transpires. I am not convinced that any action was taken in order to make it a better environment. read more

Give yourself an extra 30 minutes to actually find this place. There are no outside signs.

It's a little disconcerting when they put the wrong date on 3 prescriptions and then dismiss your concerns in regards as to when to start antibiotics and meds. The nurse also claims my husband, whom had kidney stone surgery ,should just take Tylenol, the script for Percocet with the wrong date is really not needed. Unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

The absolute best experience I have ever had, ( and I've had 4 surgical procedures there !) at almost 60 years old and in terrific general health ! Occupational hazards required knee surgeries, lower spine procedures, and hernia repair. Hudson Crossing surgical center is where my brilliant orthopedic surgeon Phillip Bauman works from and my wonderful pain management specialist Dr Terranova. This facility is super clean; virtually no risk of infection. The patient to nurse ratio seems like 1 to 5 ! The level of care is 10 ! The nurses and doctors are the best around ! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else ! read more

It's a shame I have to give this place 3 stars because the nurses are actually great, but my God the woman with black hair and maybe in her late 30s working the front desk has the WORST attitude and customer service I have ever experienced. Especially going into surgery, which you are already very nervous for, she just really made it worse. Immediately I felt like I wasn't in good hands and was walking into a bad decision. She kicked my husband out which I understand due to Covid, but was so rude and I couldn't even give him a kiss goodbye. She was like a sergeant. They need to get rid of her or not put her in front of customers. Other than that - the nurses that worked on me were great and made me feel better once I was in. read more

Talk about above average professional service ! The entire staff from the operators to the nurses all were extremely competent caring and friendly. My husband received amazing care during his hand surgery appointment. The center is clean serious about safety protocols helping the process feel safe easy and professional. My husband's nurse Ms. Dee, was kind and helped me feel connected by sharing information even though I was not allowed on-site due to COVID guidelines. I have been here a few times, and all the paperwork is completed for you as I have witnessed very quickly, all you have to do is sign and keep signing you name all is done for you. After that you are called in no more than the max as I have experienced 20mnts and as quickly as 10mnts. Everyone is very professional and ethical. They are kind and caring, making sure you are taken care of, and they make you feel as comfortable as possible. I have been put under each time, and I get anxiety attacks, and I can never say that they have not treated me with the utmost care. Also, I have cold urticaria (break out in hives with the cold), and they already have this on my chart and make sure I have warm blankets each time. After the procedure, they are there with something warm to eat and something cold to drink. I love this place, and the staff is AMAZING! read more

I had ear surgery there (Englewood) and was not given the ear drops I was supposed to take for a week after surgery. When I went for my follow up with my ear surgeon, she asked if I finished the drops I was given. What drops?? I will never go there again....not to mention it is impossible to find due to no signage. Zero rating - I was forced into selecting at least one star. read more

Every time my family or I have used Hudson Crossing the personnel were polite, efficient and helpful. There was some waiting time, but the waiting room is comfortable with plenty of seating. The medical team pre op, surgery or procedure, and post op were friendly, caring and explained everything. I would highly recommend this surgery center. read more

After waiting nearly two hours, they cancelled my procedure, with minimal explanation. After writing and asking for an explanation, still no response. Wouldn't consider coming back. read more
