Even when you get a morning appointment, you think things tend to go smoother, it's just as busy. Calling for an appointment is a long wait. They have options online but if you have specific questions or needs you have to call. Luckily they have a system that calls you back so you don't have to stay on the line forever. Right now only one adult is allowed with a patient due to covid procedures. They also do temp checks in the waiting room. Be warned that the parking spaces are not made for people with car seats or strollers. They just as narrow as anywhere else and with the typical horrible miami drivers, who can't park, expect to be readjusting your car just to get in and out.

Because I was not confident in the care my daughter was receiving, I left and took her directly to the emergency room. There, the hospital staff properly evaluated her condition, treated her and resolved the issue. While I am grateful for Dr. Alvarez and the care he provides, this experience with the PA was extremely disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality of patient care and communication in the future.

I took my grandson yesterday for drs appointment and the lady behind the glass, Carmen, was the only thing I encountered. As per Carmen, my appointment never existed, even after my son confirmed twice before I arrived. She asked me who the patient was and before I even said my grandson's name, she cut me off and told me there was no dr at the office. I proceeded to try and talk with her and she left me talking by myself and went into the back where I could not see her. When I called for her, she rudely yelled at me that she was on the phone. Carmen is the rudest receptionist I have encountered in this city where customer service is a top priority. Carmen should not be a receptionist, nor work with people, and certainly not be the initial contact with the public for your office. While sharing this experience with my son, it's clear that Carmen was not having a bad day, this is her usual self. I was appalled at the way I was treated. No one should ever be addressed the way Carmen spoke to me. Perhaps a playback of her video dealing with me could be a great way to teach her how to deal with patients.
