Of course, I'm the one who has to pay. I was very relieved that there is a T mobile store in Getty square since I was isolated from personal business. The impression I got when I walked into the store was cold and disinterested since I was the only woman who is an older person in the store. I was the only woman in the store period! The agent who was busy with the male techo freaks was told to take care of me by a female supervisor. He was in a hurry to get rid of me as soon as possible to get back to his men. I told him I needed an easy flip top phone since I loathe the digital world but must be able to communicate so I'm forced to have a cellphone. The agent was pleasant but did not go over plans, I just needed an inexpensive and simple phone. I had to take prepaid because I froze my credit reports which has been taken care of however I have to return to their store today so they can check my line of credit and get off prepaid. The agent gave me his card "If I have any questions" so I called a few days ago and was spoken to very tersely by the female supervisor who announced everything I need to bring with me to get a regular plan. So far, this has been a mean experience and I dread going back there today. I anticipate trouble and aggravation and a need on their part to just get rid of me. The phone has a weird message system and I'm sure they will be hostile if they have to take the time to explain it. I hope Edwin isn't in a hurry today. Also, for some reason the acoustics in the store prevents me from hearing well which makes matters worse. I am not deaf but something may be up with my hearing/ People with disabilities should avoid this store. I am truly grateful to have a phone and they were there. Despite repeating this over and over, I was still given a 13-inch model. For a purchase of this level, that kind of mistake is unacceptable. On top of that, the atmosphere in the store was incredibly unprofessional. Employees were messing around, cursing, and behaving more like it was a frat party than a place of business. It was loud, distracting, and made it difficult to get any real help or feel confident in what I was being sold. This store & surprisingly the manager on duty tonight who's name I won't say only so people don't just drop it to seem legit (sadly some a*holes do this just to try to seem like a negative review is legit in order to get some kind of credit to said store) was beyond kind, introduced himself & helpful even offering to make sure to have an employee ready to help at the time of arrival (though I only knew an about time so that's on me) & inquired as to what I was coming in for so they could make sure they were prepared to deal with said request and I'd assume not waste my time coming in if they couldn't which is a huge thing for someone with little time to work with or need it to be resolved quickly for urgent purposes and are already juggling a lot (as anyone similar can relate to). After dealing with so many horrible and literally downright disgusting treatment from so many of the services or even stores of this service I have received or still do via the phone it was so great to feel someone actually care to make an experience great right off the bat and I truly am so grateful for that.
