I woke up in the ICU after a very long surgery to see his face, the concern and calm manner was tremendously reassuring to me and my family. He repeatedly checked on me in the hospital and personally called me at home. Over the years with follow up and MRI's I've been in tears at times because of the way the way he walked me through the scariest health crises I'd ever had. He is in my mind the most humane, and best doctor I've ever known and he made me feel that my life was valuable and worth fighting for. I have cement in my veins, which will require a very complicated surgery. I had 2 "surgeries" by Kamson. The other was a "laminectomy" which was completely botched. Did I mention I woke up during both surgeries as well? Your health isn't worth it. Seek out credible surgeons that are directly affiliated with hospitals. Kamson isn't allowed to work in any hospital. Verify this through the Washington State Medical Commission site.

I woke up during the last 2 surgeries and had to go to the ER after being sent home too early after the last one. I was given 3 numbers to call & not one was answered by any staff. Meanwhile, I was violently ill and scared. I'm 4 months post-op and feel worse than ever. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Will be seeing a neurologist to find out what went wrong. I wished that I was made aware of his flawed reputation earlier.
