After being placed on hold , I began explaining that I needed to make an appointment and briefly mentioned the reason for my call. The receptionist cut me off mid sentence in a rude and dismissive tone just to ask if I was a new patient. I was then asked placed on hold again. When Cindy answered I asked to speak with somebody else. The second employee showed no concern, did not acknowledge the issue,and seemed completely uninterested in addressing my complaint. Calling a doctor's office about health concerns should not feel this frustrating or disrespectful. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from the front office staff was unacceptable and has left me with no confidence in this practice.

Their hold system automatically hangs up on you after 5 minutes. The last time I called, I tried to get a word in, hoping to just schedule a call back instead of being placed back on the 5 minute hold that never gets answered who knows how many more times. She didn't listen to me (she heard me though) and just said, I'll be right with you and cut me off to place me on this hold that never gets answered yet again. Extremely frustrating. I don't know if I'm being placed back at the end of this hold line every time the call is dropped. I tried to be patient, called back after being hung up on 3x before asking to please be given a second to speak which was not honored. Please fix this hold system or set up a call back list if you're too busy to take patients calls. Thank you.

Anytime I would ask him questions about changing medication out for a more natural approach to supplement her heart issues, he looked at me like I didn't know what was speaking about?! I am a homeopathic licensed physician. If it were up to me, I would have taken her off of all of these horrible meds - but, he literally threatened to call APS on me if I did!! Completely stressing my Mother out - I mean, who threatens someone like this?? Meanwhile, the side effects that she was suffering were horrible. I had to agree after he failed to examine me, didn't ask about what medications I was taking, gave incorrect advice about how to handle my lymphedema, denied me care that I need in order to control my lymphedema, and then failed to process the correct referrals I need. I understand why it is he feels he isn't smart enough...he went to Ross University in the Domenica. They give degrees to anyone who wants one and pay Kern County Medical Center to accept and place their students for their clinical work. There are no other places in the U.S. that will take students from that medical school. Dr.Jones was unable to get admitted to any medical school in the U.S. He says he is a certified internist but I could only find where he was certified one time in 2003. He hasn't been since that time. He says he teaches at UC Riverside but I can't locate him on the list of faculty members. He also advises young people on how to grow taller, telling them that tall equals power. Check out his cool website....what kind of doctor advocates tall as being the end all? I would suggest that you look very closely at this doctor before you visit him. There are many other doctors who are good at what they do.

He is caring, listens, and is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
