The venue itself was beautiful, and my aunt's 90th birthday celebration on June 13th was truly lovely. The space was well‑kept, and everything ran smoothly the day of the event. Unfortunately, the issues began afterward. Getting my deposit returned was far more difficult than it should have been. There was no damage to the venue, so I expected a timely refund--especially since they stated it would be processed within 10 days after the event date. Instead, I had to follow up repeatedly by phone and email, with no response. It wasn't until I sent a strongly worded email threatening further action that someone finally replied. This lack of communication and accountability overshadowed what was otherwise a wonderful event. Customer service should never be an afterthought, yet that's exactly how it felt. Experiences like this are why so many of our Black‑owned businesses struggle--not because they lack quality or beauty, but because the operational follow‑through isn't consistent. It's truly unfortunate, because the venue itself is stunning and our guests loved it. But based on the refund experience alone, I cannot recommend this location. Throughout the evening, the staff demonstrated an unacceptable attitude toward myself and other guests. Specifically, a simple request for an extra chair was met with hostility, and another guest was treated poorly while merely attempting to assist in clearing a table. Despite my efforts to remain respectful and address these interactions calmly, the situation escalated when I was inappropriately escorted out by security. This response was entirely unwarranted, as there was no intimidation or threat posed at any time. Attended my HS reunion here this past Saturday. Nice spot was able to find parking. Place was clean and well lit. Bathroom was clean.

They have very disrespecful staff especially the ones that serves the drink at the bar They treat clients badly during your events and give attitudes when you need help for something or you have a question..they shouldn't work there if they have got bad client relation Do better I am not coming back cos I dislike the services I recieved it is disappointing read more

Terrible! My family and I rented a venue for a 100-person event and we were not informed that the air conditioning was broken on a 95°+ the day of our event. I only found out after the elderly in our party started feeling ill and a worker "mentioned" the air was completely out. The room was unbearably hot, people were sweating through their clothes and hair. We had guests leave! They had small fans and a portable unit that didn't help, and it ruined the atmosphere of the event. I was never offered another option to move the event or even told prior. I requested compensation afterward for our troubles but the business ignored mostly all of my multiple emails and phone calls. My event was over a month ago; they've sent only one email response offering pennies when we paid for their Lux package in full. Very unprofessional and unacceptable for a hospitality business. I had my aunt's 80th birthday celebration at this venue May 2021. Pricing was reasonable. (it has since increased) The people were extremely nice, and the venue was beautiful. I love the demeanor of the staff and overall my experience was good. The owner even returned at the end of the event and surprisingly, assisted me with cleaning up. On Sep. 16th I had my Wedding and Reception here. Everything was so amazing the Mother and Daughter duo was so amazing. They answered all my million and one questions. Everything was so spot on and elegant. Even though I broke my ankle 3 weeks before my wedding they was literally my extra person I needed. They was so attentive to all my needs. Paid for 8hour rental no break down or set up time Venue shuts phone off for incoming calls on weekends, only text message. -What the hell! If it's an emergency you'd have to text? - Don't recall this being explained during booking. Security guard mentioned breakdown time 1.5 hours before end of original rental time--- I know bc I kept my text messages that I sent to venue staff! I texted to ask to pay for extending the rental. -Security was tude to my help i.e when asked where are trash bags he replied I am on the phone. Ok it would've took 1 second to share where they were fit clean up! -Security guard himself stated management of venue has poor communication after I showed him text that we agreed to pay to extend an hour. This was not his 1st time experiencing this working for venue he stated. -Extended time another hour stated he was not aware and dismissed my guess an hour early. Bartender did not communicate with my support person who brought the alcohol to serve or myself about when she was leaving. That was a bummer! -She had security pack up alcohol in plastic bags and placed it across the bar top. -When we booked bartender, venue advised that BARTENDER would keep extra alcohol to give back at end of event! Why was set it like a damn display? -The venue email account emailed me screenshots of what guests took alcohol during clean up. WHY WASN'T ALCOHOL CLEAN UP DISCUSSED WITH THE RENTER TO FACILITATE CLEAN UP? I had all premium alcohol-- Remy, Anejo, Dusse etc. The security guard clearly knew I was the renter I ALREADY SPOKE WITH HIM ABOUT ADDING AN HOUR. There was nothing that Mykhail could say when she came in but sorry about my experience. Venue later refunded full deposit after email correspondence. Rating is based on the venue interior and the fact that the venue refunded full deposit. read more
