The high ceilings and all areas were tastefully decorated. The wedding room was very bright. The seating was comfortable. After the wedding, there was a cocktail reception outside while they prepared the rest of the event. I would say this took longer than expected but it could be that the wedding party was off taking photos. On this occasion it wasn't too hot but if more than 85 degrees than maybe an issue. Once allowed to enter dinner reception it was setup beautifully. The bar area accommodated a Photo Booth area as well. For food we had baked chicken, yams, Mac & Cheese, greens and cornbread. Dinner was delicious and I had no complaints on the food. Also like that they had hot sauce and salt/pepper easily accessible. The servers did a good job and bringing around sweet tea and lemonade. Overall a fantastic experience. Lots of detail was put into making this a special experience for the Oliver family. I would give it 4.5 stars. Only downside was small parking lot, only 2 bathrooms and timing of event felt slow. Not sure if DJ was apart of wedding venue but the music was horribly loud during the wedding and at times it was hard to hear.

Tried to change scheduled and paid for times with both parties. Attempted to start cleaning up during the event without notice to the hosts. The owner walked around stomping the whole time pleading with the host to compromise their time to fix her mistake. Also, the floor is literally falling apart as you walk across it; chips in shoes as well. The white covers she left on the chairs for "quicker setup" had stains on them. Wish I could add pictures for proof. Overall horrible booking; do not recommend!

It's a large beautiful (I would like to say historic) venue that has a large dance floor, plenty of seating, huge bar, stage where Live Music or DJ can perform, private dressing room with a small bathroom, and a full-size commercial kitchen to rent if you want to provide food or bring in a caterer. There is a parking lot in the back, as well as across the street, and street parking. The owner has security patrolling the parking lots the entire night. Our guests have never had a problem. They only provide rental space, bartenders, and a few servers/waitresses, you have to provide/hire your own vendors (caterers, DJ, decorations, etc.). In being an Event Planner for the past 30+ years from Corporate to Community events, as with all Service-based businesses, you're going to always have a rotating door when it comes to customer service. It's part of the game. It's hard to find good help these days. My personal experience, as well as my experience in attending other events hosted there, has always been great. I know other event promoters who have also been hosting their events here for awhile, so if it was that bad, we wouldn't still be here. The owner does an excellent job in doing his best to stay on top of it. So when you read other poor reviews, create your own opinion based on your own experience like we did. Otherwise you just might miss out on a GREAT experience!

The communication start to end, the bar packages that are available, and the willingness to help when one of my vendors didn't show up. The area is great and has tons of parking (paid and unpaid) nearby, safe for guests to arrive, and they provide security. They were there every step of the way and so kind. Came here for my little cousin birthday/ graduation party two weeks ago. The entrance was a little…read morechaotic. Nobody was at the box office when we arrived so a line formed quickly because we had to pay in order to get in. The designated person eventually came back to their post so we could enter. If your name isn't on the booked party list for skating (I believe parties come with ~10 people on the list) It's $11 to enter and not skate, $15 to enter and skate. Once inside, we were scanned and searched by security, verified that we were here for a booked party, then allowed to enter the rest of the building. Once I arrived to the skating rental counter, every person had to fill out an online waiter before being given skates. I was able to do that within five minutes and get some skates in my size. The roller rink was of average size. The music was lit; a mixture for all ages, including adults. I kept my skates on the entire party. We even had the opportunity to play some arcade games and had a blast. Unfortunately I will be removing a star because they know its multiple groups of people in one building moving and rolling around on a hot summer day; the air conditioning should've been on at least 60-65 degrees the entire time. To be honest, I don't think it was on at all. As for the food, the chicken wings were decent but the pizza was pretty unpalatable in my opinion. It just tasted fake and cheap and artificial. I'm assuming the cotton candy and slushies were good because I heard no complaints from anybody. Sidenote: They are very strict on the timing. Our party was on a Saturday 3:30pm-6:30pm. At exactly 6:30pm, security made an announcement to the whole rink basically saying your time is up and you have to get out. I'm assuming they prepare for the next round of parties. Everybody pretty much followed the rules and exited in an orderly fashion. But overall it was a really nice time and everybody felt pretty safe. They just need to turn the a/c on!

The airing places were not well kept. I was really disappointed with the bowling side. We couldn't use many of the balls because the holes were too small, the pins kept getting stuck so they had to constantly go to the back to fix them. Moved to a different lane and it did the same thing not to mention the score boards didn't work and nobody knew how to fix them. Very run down and that's sad because that's one of the only the rink/bowling in the city.
