My husband, and my and best friend both have been patients here one in Bettendorf and one in Silvis. The staff is always curt to both of them and to me. "not very welcoming" was the quote my best friend said this morning. They say "urgent care," but then act like they won't see you unless you have an appointment and that you should wait, no matter how long, or how much pain you are in to see your "assigned provider" who works in a different office many miles away. All my friend wanted was some sort of shot or something to take his pain away so he can feed his livestock. I heard both the receptionist and the nurse admonish a 77 year old former Reagan era AIDS nurse like a child for being in pain and simply going to a place that said "Urgent Care" on the sign to get Urgent care. read more

I only recommend the best to my friends. ORA is the best. My entire experience went smoothly. The staff is friendly and professional. They get you in and cared for promptly. I followed my doctor's protocol after surgery and did all of the home exercises twice a day as recommended by my Physical Therapist. I'm grateful to the expertise of Dr. Clark. The care at ORA is good, however the admin suck. I go every three months for steroid injections in my wrists for extreme pain. I am a VA patient and I always ask when I schedule if my VA authorization is good thru the appointment date. Always "yes". A week before my appointment date they call and cancel because the authorization has expired. This is ORA's fault, not the VA! They suck, meanwhile I suffer. So got my mri sooner then the 1st date that was scheduled for Feb 27 so I got in on the Thursday so i called to get my doctor appointment for next week and they said the doctor isn't scheduling until March 1st apparently these doctor think our time isn't as important as theirs. I went in for sporadic shoulder pain that had now become so bad I couldn't lift my arm one morning so I went to ORA. I was given an X-ray and a cortisone shot. Well, 58 hours later I ended up in the hospital with Sepsis in that shoulder which was bad enough to have a bacterial doctor called in. I went for a follow up appointment after an MRI with contrast and the dr tried to tell me that the scans were normal. Ooops problem is that I have family members that are able to read an MRI and we know that's not true. My bone is necrotic and this surgeon told me they're unable to treat me, said it's a nerve issue and referred me to neurology. Also stated that it's not possible to get Arthritis from surgery. I highly recommend finding somewhere else for orthopedic treatments! Such a joke THEY'VE monopolized the whole area. I'll be taking my chances with more qualified professionals! I went in to be seen about spinal stenosis and was told that he can't do surgery on me because of my weight. That he "wouldn't even be able to see where to operate." That hurt me so bad that I haven't seen another doctor about it since, and now my left leg is numb and the pain is much worse. Very stuck up arrogant people. read more

Their billing practices are extremely shady. I've work in the insurance industry for 20yrs and know from experience that they just make up charges and subjectively decide how much to bill you. I had 2 children the same age break their arms (miner breaks). one bill was $370 the other bill was $1263. In both cases the only thing they did to treat the arm was to wrap it for about 5weeks then remove the cast. They made some lame excuse that one was a break and the other was a fracture, but the treatment was exactly the same. They just play with words and charge whatever they want. read more

At the time I figured that they would try to get me in later that day. After waiting 6 hours by the phone, hoping to get in ASAP the person said we can see you in January. ORA Orthopedics is the best! I see Dr.Connolly for my arthritic big joints (knees, hips, shoulders) and he is FABULOUS!! He always takes all of the time I need to talk and for him to check things out. I've had a variety of treatments and they have helped. He is a skilled and thoughtful, patient-centered physician. I see Dr. Berry for my back. I cannot say enough good about this wonderful doctor. He is knowledgeable and skilled. He is kind and easy to talk to. After using a walker for over 15 years, he set things into motion and the right back surgery got me back on my feet. Neither of these amazing doctors waste your time or make you wait. I know people complain about some ORA doctors, but these two are absolutely extraordinary! read more

On 10/13/22 I went to ORA in Moline to receive an epidural shot for pain in my lower back. When it was my turn to receive the shot, I was asked to lay on my stomach on a stretcher in the procedure room, so they could give me the shot. I got on the stretcher to get ready for the shot and the pain in my back exploded - I told them I cannot lay on my stomach because the pain was too severe. On a scale of 1 to 10, the pain was 20. I did not receive the shot because of the pain, and I asked Dr. Hashmi if he had anything in his office to give me to curb the severe pain - his answer was no. His specialty is pain management and he had nothing to give me. He said he would call in a prescription for a muscle relaxer and pain medication to my pharmacy. Dr. Hashmi had an assembly line of patients ready to receive their shots and he was not going to break that chain. My pain meant nothing to him - he simply wanted me gone so he could continue with his schedule. Dr. Hashmi didn't even have the ability to deviate from his tasks to care for a patient in severe pain. He had a nurse walk me out to my car and it took 10 minutes to get into my car because I could not bend my back. Thank God my wife was with me. We drove home and waited for the prescription to be filled - Dr. Hashmi didn't even call the prescription in - unbelievable. At about 6 pm I lost the use of my left leg, and my wife took me to the Hammond Henry Hospital Emergency Room. Thank God for Dr. Burrows - she said I needed an MRI NOW. The kicker here is ORA has an MRI machine, but Dr. Hashmi had no clue that would help. Dr. Borrows give me some pain medication intravenously which was a blessing and scheduled an ambulance to transport me to OSF in Peoria. I arrived in Peoria at 11:30 pm that evening and received an MRI at 3 am - they found a tumor on my spine and were in surgery at 6:30 am. Thank God for Dr. McCall, Dr. Miller, and Dr. Wilson for removing that tumor from my spine. I still can't believe he didn't even call my prescription in. read more

If I could give a negative star or an F------ I would. This place is a joke! All the staff is rude and all they care about is payments and NOT patient care. I would not send my dog to Dr. Wynn. I called and requested my medical records be sent to another provider and they send I have to fill out a form and it takes 7-10 business days to get that completed. However, I just called a hospital I also needed some records from and within 30 minutes my new doctor had them in hand. This is my second and last go around with Moline ORA. I took my son in to the walk in clinic not long ago. Evan Witt, who treated him, was knowledgeable, kind, and great with kids! They were able to get x-rays and even put on his cast right there at the office. Everyone was really nice! The whole visit was much faster and easier than I expected. read more

ORA is just another big medical business who do not give a hoot about patients employees or the little guy. ORA built a new office at Northwest Blvd. and Division in Davenport, they invited Atomic coffee in to open a store at their location. Atomic said yes and an agreement was made. Now ORA is trying to run Atomic out of business they have sent the owners of Atomic a letter informing them that the locks will be changed and Atomic will only be able to operate when ORA Is open for business which means instead of opening M-F 6:00-8:00 their new hours are M-F 8:00-6:00 and NO weekends or holidays. So much for supporting the local community small business owners. I guess when you are so big you can make agreements then step all over them. Also ORA has no clue how to schedule appointments. I had an appointment for 8:15 and sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes past my time only to be taken back to another room for another 10 minutes before being taken to an exam room!! I only spoke with the Dr fo 5 minutes and left at 10:00!!! What a pleasure that was. I personally am going to boycott ORA and start going to the little guy. I still plan on supporting Atomic and think it is terrible that ORA doesn't have to honor their agreements. Also what about all the high school kids that work there all of their jobs are gone!! I'm going to start that I don't leave reviews, but all the negative reviews make me want to put a different perspective. Dr Husain is kind, ON TIME, makes you feel at ease when you're worried with lots of questions and has been 100% on track on what we should expect through the healing process for my son. We went in as a walk in after he got hurt and waited less than 15 mins (less than immediate care or ER). Scheduling has been great. They work around my schedule. With financing and helping me with co-pays and going through insurance process has been helpful. Never a rude face and always felt listened to. read more

I have seen several doctors at ORA in Moline throughout the past 3 years. The experience is always the same. I feel like I am being hurried through an assembly line. The staff (desk and nursing) is rude, always in a hurry, and do not offer clear explanations when asked questions. The doctors rush into the exam room, ask a couple of questions, don't take the time necessary to listen to what the patient has to say, and then runs out of the room. It seems like they automatically jump to "surgery". I had an arthroscopic meniscus repair late last year. On the second follow up appointment I complained about the pain in the same knee. I was given a pain injection. I went back a month later, with the same pain, and was given another injection. I went back 6 weeks later and complained about pain, and eventually received a Synvisc-One injection that only worked for 4-6 weeks. Recently I returned to the ORA doctor, X-rays were taken and I got to see the doctor. He rushed into the office, didn't remember me (even though he has met with me many times), offered me another injection (I told him I already received 3 injections, and then he told me there is nothing he can offer me. I have to live with the pain. It is evident that the doctor did not even review my medical file/history. I will never go back to ORA in Moline. I don't know if the office in Iowa is any better but this particular facility is substandard. I decided not to mention the doctor's name in this posting. But maybe all the doctors are the same? If I could give 0 stars I would. First time I went in for the pain in my knee I waited in the "urgent care" for 4 hours before being seen. When a doctor finally arrived to my room she spend less that 10 minutes with me saying I needed an MRI. Well since it was nearly 7pm by then the scheduler had already left for the day. I never received a call the next day so I called myself to make the appointment for the MRI. I went and had it done to make another appointment for them to give me the results. 7 days after getting the MRI done I had my follow up appointment today. I waited past my appointment time to finally be seen by a very arrogant Dr. Collins. Who read my results saying I did have a cyst and a torn meniscus in my left knee but he doesn't want to do surgery. He really would prefer I do physical therapy 3 times a week for 6 weeks then come in again to be re-evaluated. During his 10 minutes in my room he made me feel like an idiot to the point of me tearing up. He didn't listen to the amount of pain I was in or the toll it was taking on my life. Half way through talking to me he got up and was standing at the door with his hand on the knob ready to move on to the next paying customer. I felt defeated. Went to make my follow appt. told I had to wait in the the waiting room again to schedule PT. I sat there for 35 more minutes until another patient came as asked about scheduling when she was told that the scheduler was not in her office and not sure when she would be back I hit a breaking point. I immediately looked up other doctors and contacted Orthopaedic Specialists who say I have to get my records from ORA first. So no doubt that will be a pain in the ass but I can guarantee I am getting a 2nd opinion and will not be returning to Moline ORA any time soon. read more

We have been going to ORA in moline since 2012. Dr Pyvich is very good, but his staff is awful. I'm sure they have some good nurses that work there, but we have had issue after issue with scheduling. Just a few days ago I requested to speak with the dr after getting the run around with a few nurses, and sure enough when we got a call back, it was a nurse. So my husband went to Davenport to see the dr, only to find out he had no idea about what was going on. Complete waste of time, and money. He didn't need to see our daughter, and was unaware of which step we were in regarding her new leg braces. Very unprofessional and arrogant staff members. read more

The place is too busy & crowded. Everyone appears to be in a big hurry. The nurse who checked me into the exam room acted like she was in a snit. Did not care for her at all. The doctor I seen was ok, but I got the impression that he blew off what I had to say concerning allergies to any kind of dye, after suggesting I get an MRI done - acting like it was no big thing.
