HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We visited Orange Beach and decided to view the skyline from the Gulf with a sail. There were 4 adults and my 2 year old grandson in our group. Captain Randy was a fantastic skipper who made the cruise very enjoyable and comfortable for all. Unlike some other sailing companies, we ACTUALLY sailed in the Gulf (engine off) and enjoyed the breeze and the views. As a sailor on Lake Michigan, Captain Randy let me take the helm of the 35-foot Beneteau for much of the sail. (THANKS, Captain!) He has tons of local knowledge and provided great information to our group. Took their 8am deap-sea fishing trip. It's a big, clean, well maintained, well crewed boat. There were a LOT of people - probably 55 or 60. It was a little crowded if you were fishing on the sides of the boat. The captain did his best to put us on fish, and moved a number of times. All in all, it was fun and we each caught some fish. The mates were really good - they took your fish off, cut up bait, helped with tangled rods, cleaned your fish. If you can afford to charter a captain and boat, that would definitely be more fun. And I cannot imagine taking the 3pm fishing trip if it's July or August - it would be hotter than hell. But for the cost, this was fun. Definitely a well-managed operation. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this business. The sailboat cruise was wonderful. We always felt safe, valued, and welcome. Captain Randy and Captain Ryan were both kind and knowledgeable. We will be adding this to our usual lineup when visiting this area. It has been our favorite experience here in the Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach area. It is well worth the money! Last year we took a dolphin cruise and did not see dolphins. Tonight we were not even looking for dolphins and we saw plenty! Beautiful sunset! Good conversation! Fantastic sailing! Captain Randy is the tops in our book for sailboat cruises. We took the 4 hour afternoon cruise and had a super time. The boat is comfortable, and we went well out into the gulf, quite a distance from shore. At the halfway mark we stopped the boat and jumped into the clear water for about 20 minutes. We also each got a chance to drive the boat as well as man the ropes while tacking and assist with docking. Great music, very relaxing, we'd do it again. Highly recommended! read more

What an experience!!! My husband and I took our children, ages 11 and 6 and had the best time! We watched as other larger groups boarded nearby boats and felt so lucky to have a private cruise all our own along with Captain Ryan! We took a morning cruise (8am-10am) and the weather was perfect, cool and breezy! Captain Ryan was super laid back, yet knowledgable! He made us all feel totally welcomed and comfortable. The boys took the wheel on the way back and really got a kick out of that! The icing on the cake was seeing Dolphins come up several times near the boat on the last leg of our cruise! Can you say "amazzzzing"?!? Spent a few days in Florida and experienced some strong winds and ugly weather so our Florida sailing trip was canceled 3 separate times! Boo! We were heading back to Texas and stopped in Orange Beach, Alabama insisting on finding someone to take us out sailing! We found Ryan and are so glad we did! We set up the trip over phone, secured w/cc and then got an immediate text w/directions to the marina. Showed up and out boat pulled up right on time. Clean & comfy! My college age son and his girlfriend accompanied my husband and I. We truly enjoyed Ryan's company. He was super informative and kind. We all loved him and his hospitality. My husband even got to take the wheel for a while.. He did a few neat tricks for us that kept the kiddos impressed! This was by far the best part of our while trip. Ryan arranged for someone to take pics of us on the boat and emailed them to is immediately upon docking back at marina. All the peeps at the marina were super friendly and kind. I wish I could give this place 10 stars because they deserve that and more. We will definitely be sailing with CPT Ryan again! He gave the kids buttons and we got a couple cards w/ the picture of the sailboat for memories. Ryan recommended a dinner spot for us and also called the hotel we wanted to stay at to make sure they had availability... He went above and beyond. All around awesome guy who we truly enjoyed hangin w/for a couple hours! If you want a romantic cruise for 2 or want to take the family out, give Ryan a call and you will not regret it! read more

My family and I had an excellent time sailing with Captain Ryan. Our two hours with him were by far the best two hours of our week long beach vacation. We boarded right at 2pm as stated on the phone. The boat was top knotch, clean and very comfortable. We will definitely be sailing with Ryan again in the near future. If our original sail plans in Florida wouldn't have fallen thru due to bad weather than we wouldn't have found Ryan. Thank you Mother Nature! We just got off the sunset sailing cruise with Captain Randy. We are already planning our next visit. The boat is pristine and Captain Randy knows what he is doing. He's funny and friendly. We saw dolphins, jellyfish, and a sea turtle was spotted. Sitting on the bow and enjoying the breeze with a loved one while the sun went down was a bucket list item and the highlight of this trip. We did a sunset cruise with Captain Rainy on 8/11. It was a great treat! Captain Randy is a great guy and very knowledgeable on sailing and the gulf area. He made all of us feel very comfortable and included. Only 6 people on the cruise, which was amazing! He showed off the features of the boat while giving all that wanted to a chance to pilot the sailboat. The highlight was the storm that blew in right as we were heading in to see the sunset. Randy took charge and got us in safely, with a high wind, back in docking for the ages! I would highly recommend this trip. Not only is the gulf area beautiful, but Captain Randy is a joy to be with. My Inlaws took a 2 hour Cruise with Captain Ryan and loved it. Me, my wife and our 2 kids (2yrs and 8yrs) along with Grandma and Grandpa took a 4 hour cruise with Captain Randy. We had a great time. He was super nice and explained how the boat works, gave Info on the area and helped make it an excellent experience. He lets the kids drive the boat for awhile which was a huge thrill for our 8 yr old. Doing the private cruise on a sail boat was one of our best decisions while in Orange beach. read more

We visited friends in Orange Beach over the weekend to celebrate a birthday. As a surprise we went out on the sunset cruise. Our only regret, that we hadn't done this sooner when we lived in the area. This is now most definitely my top, favorite attraction in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area. Not touristy and crowded, completely relaxing and able to enjoy the great company of others with beautiful scenery, and our Captain Ryan was an amazing host for the trip. There are snacks on the boat, but bring a picnic lunch if you like. What could be better than having a picnic on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico?!? I would recommend this to anyone-families, couples, friends, even team building for a small business group. Come to the beach to get away? There isn't a better way in the gulf coast to get away from it all than this. If you are looking for some relaxing , quality time-I definitely recommend you try this! You will not regret it. read more
