If you want to hang out and smoke, there are plenty of huge sumptuous leather couches & chairs, flat screen TV's on every wall to watch the game or whatever movie is playing... There are several cigar stores in the New Haven/Shoreline area. The Owl in New Haven, Winfields in Guilford (yuck) the Lighthouse in Old Saybrook and others. Orange Cigar and More has a large humidor and a great selection. The prices are usually a $1-$2 bucks higher than the Lighthouse (Andre has great prices but a smaller selection). I like the place and enjoy the selection. It's not the kind of place I would hang out at - I like North of Habana in North Haven for lounging. But it's a great place for a quick visit. read more

Best cigar shop ever! Great selection of cigars at good prices. Connecticut kills us on cigar prices in general and there's nothing any retailer can do about that. Prices here are at or below other retailers around. Very hospitable too; you can come in, buy a cigar, and sit and smoke it while watching the game. They have at least 3 televisions with cable. I have been going to Orange Cigar and More since it opened. Prices are fair but the service is the reason I keep going back. There are always a few people there to have some intelligent conversation with. You can bring something to drink and hang with friends or make new friends there.
