I spent a decent time in the store, where I was very pleasantly surprised by the service and prices. The prices of tobacco pieces are the lowest I've seen in all the shops I've visited! The owner of the shop was super helpful and friendly - she happily demonstrated how to use one of the cigarette rollers and even let me try it myself! It has a very legitimate and professional feel, and they have an impressive inventory. I don't agree with the reviews calling the owner cheap - she gave my friend and me two discount coupons for our next visit! I recently found out about this place, and I'm happy I did. I went in searching for a specific hookah to travel with. It was not available due to people buying hookahs like crazy since the pandemic! I expressed concern about traveling with a glass base since airlines are sometimes careless with luggage. Terrence was accommodating, and bubble wrapped it before placing it in a box for me. I have been coming to this place for about 3 years now, not because it's good or anything just for the convenience. When I do have a chance I try not to go there. The people there always seem to ask me for my ID even though i have been there regularly. They do not take the time to get to know their customers. When I walk in there is no one helping they are all just sitting around. Today was the last day I go because I forgot my ID & no one seems to know me even though I have bought my smoking essentials here for over 3 years. They also sometimes carry knockoff products and the fake products are even very overpriced so be careful when shopping here. Worst customer service ever. read more

They most likely lost my business today due to horrendous customer service that shouted out 'we don't care about you'. Their customer service has always been spotty imo, but today's very small interaction was the straw. The gentleman helping me sold me the wrong product. Upon discovering this I returned to exchange it but they would not take it since it was opened. It is a very low value product. They insisted that if I wanted the correct item I originally tried to purchase I would need to buy it again. It was a terse and quick conversation with the manager who cared zero whether or not I found the solution or lack of one acceptable. I purchased a vape from them on 6/2/18. 3 days later the vape is already giving me issues, the battery would barely last half a day due to an issue with the LED light staying on when turned off. I called them today and spoke with an associate who said I can bring it in anytime for a free repair. So I brought it in, and there free repair consisted of some guy looking up online if there were any updates for the vape. It's not a phone idiot there was a clear mechanical malfunction with the screen, but he didn't even attempt to fix it which what was offered. I am a regular customer and just purchased a product which was sold to me broken, with not even the slightest care for customer service. I was even willing to purchase a brand new vape, an even more expensive one than the $80 I dropped on Saturday if they had worked with me reasonably. Stay away if you rather not waste money to a company WHO DOESN'T VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS AND PRODUCTS. There are other competitors in the area which will appreciate your buisness. I'm new to vaping & had bought my vape device & juice online but failed to buy batteries & charger. As I was anxious to start vaping decided to go pick up the batteries/charger in-person rather than ordering online & a friend recommended Euphoria Cigar and Hookah Lounge. Last Sunday went there, my 1st time in a vape shop, & was impressed with the set-up .Lots of vapes, accessories, hookahs etc etc on display. I was attended to by Zack & showed him my device & what was needed & he quickly retrieved the the type of batteries & charger my unit required---no up sell. He was also patient enough to answer my multitude of questions. I'm unable to comment on the prices because I haven't really compared them to other vape shops or online sites. I've been coming to this place since it was called Beans and Leaves and its really gone downhill. The vape prices are ridiculous; a vape that I bought for $20 costs $55 here! Absolute ripoff, I can't speak for their tobacco or cigar prices but I would avoid buying vapes from here. Their hookah is terrible. Has no flavor, barely any smoke volume and will not last an hour session. There are way better hookah lounges in the New Haven/Fairfield area. The hookah prices are cheap I guess but not even worth it in my opinion. I always end up smelling after leaving this place too, does not happen at other places. I went here about a week ago with two friends to check it out. I'm 24, and so is my girlfriend, and we both have Connecticut ID's. Our third friend left his ID at home, which was close by, luckily enough, because apparently the store owners thought he might have been spending his Friday night with friends who are seven years older than himself and demanded ID before service. Whatever, policy is policy and it protects the store so I get that. We retrieved his ID from home and returned. My real problems began later. Upon entering I was greeted by a lovely, personable, 35-40-ish year-old blond woman. I told her this was my first time at Beans and Leaves and inquired about the deals and pricing. She asked if I was a university student and because I am, I was told that they would discount each hookah by 5$. On that basis, we decided to get two hookahs at 15$ a piece (30$ total) instead of sharing one. One hookah flavor, mint, wasn't good, but the honeyed blend we got was absolutely delicious. My only problem was my hookahs didn't draw the thick smoke that I'm accustomed to at the hookah bars I've been to in New York. It was like the equivalent of a light cigarette. The atmosphere and decor were nicer than expected, but they're trying to promote some sort of club/dance atmosphere on Friday/Saturday nights that plainly is not going to happen. The music they play is god-awful, and girls are not going here looking to socialize with the largely 30's-to middle aged Middle Eastern clientele. It wasn't that crowded, and it was a better place for conversation than a bar, but still was not the subdued alternative I was looking for. As the owners have themselves admitted on Yelp, Fri + Sat are probably not the time to go if you're looking to just chill out. Anyway, the real problem came upon checkout, whereupon the large Middle Eastern woman infamous in other reviews here delivered disgusting customer service. After being asked if I were a university student by another employee and told that I would receive the appropriate discount, the woman at the register demanded university ID before delivering on another employee's promise. I considered retrieving my ID, but after already having left and returned just to obtain my friend's proof-of-age, I declined. I asked if she was providing the discount anyway as this was my first time there and she informed me that "no, your discounts can begin when you bring your university ID". That won't happen, because I won't be back to provide patronage to a woman who doesn't appreciate her customers. Having worked in a service industry for years bending over backwards to please people, I was taken aback by her total disregard of my first-time experience. I had a decent (not great) time while I was there, but my friends and I were turned off by this lady's lack of personality and service, and won't be returning because of it. A hint to the owners: it's more important for your customers to return than to squeeze every new entry for every possible dollar. read more

The main thing I love about Euphoria? The hours at this place are phenomenal. Whether I want to unwind after a long night at work or grab a couple of friends for some relaxation during lunchtime, this place is open. The staff is friendly. They check on your coals constantly. I have never also felt the pressure to leave even after staying for a long time. They try their best to accommodate every customer. But, that being said, if you have less than 4 people in your group, you're almost guaranteed to get uncomfortably squeezed in between larger groups. My ideal spots are the corners, which the staff usually reserves for larger groups. I've come in with a group of 4 and have asked to sit in the comfy corners and have been ignored/denied. I understand though, the actual smoking lounge isn't that large and they have to try and make everyone comfortable. My experiences here have always been relaxing and/or pleasant. I like that the crowd is mostly older people/college students. It's a nicer environment than the hookah bars in New Haven/Fairfield packed with underage kids and obnoxious music. read more

The people who work there are super friendly and always greet me when I go. They have BYOB, which is also a plus. Monday's are Open Mic and hookah's are only $12 if you come before 9 and Wednesday's are Trivia Night! They also have a vast selection of cigars. My friends and I went there today to celebrate one of us birthday, we called in the afternoon for reservation but we were told that a reservation should be only made 24 hours ahead.. So we went there hoping to find a table. The place was almost empty and the manager welcomed us as not to take any charge for the party only a charge for bringing alcohol which was $5 per person. Anyway we ordered 3 hookahs and some soft drinks only as this is the only thing they serve and we were 9 so they charged us over $120 !!!! What a rip off scam.. They charged every person not smoking hookah $10 plus the $5.. So you pay $15 just to get in .. Believe me better night clubs worth less than that.. So screw you. read more

I am fairly new to cigars and have never picked out my own so I was down there 2 weeks ago for an outing and decided to go pick up some cigars for everyone, The guy I was dealing with was great, my friends and I threw a million and one questions at him and he answered every one well. I picked out 3 cigars for myself and 4 for others. He had me make decisions based on what I liked to drink and eat even though I wasn't pairing them with anything. He couldn't of been more spot on all 3 cigars where amazing nothing too sweet nothing too spicy it was perfect for my pallet, all my friends that he helped where very pleased as well. Can't give it 5 stars because I'm new to the smoking world so idk if most shops are like this but I was very pleased with my experience and suggest ppl check them out. read more

The place is close to my home. I went to it couple of times but i had same experience. They have legendary bad customer service. You will wait for 20 min to get your hookah and after you do, the store staff will harass your friends on buying a their own hookahs (if they didn't buy one) or paying 10$ for the store. Then you will hear about another ridiculous store policy which is you have to wait for 30min before they change the charcoal. I got stains on my cloth every time I go there because of how dirty the place is. The shop also, very loud like you are in the middle of a night club in New Delhi. You will not be able to have a peaceful time talking with your friends or enjoying your EXPENSIVE hookah at this shop. read more

WHAT EVER YOU DO DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THEM. THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS. I bought a Mya Acrylic Hookah from them and I went to wash it out after using it once and when I put hot water in the base, it started to become cloudy. I went to rub it off and it turns out the acrylic started to peel off creating this white residue all inside it. Not to mention it reeked of a scent similar to crazy glue. I am aware that the reason for this was not caused by this hookah store HOWEVER I did purchase the product from them and as a person who spent $200 in their store I would expect respectful costumer services and a replacement. Instead I got a rude owner who proceeded to tell me I poured a chemical into the base which caused this to happen. I continued to tell her I used regular old warm tap water from my sink and even hit out a few drops of the water inside the base to my hands to show her, but nope I was still at fault according to her. So instead of simply getting a replacement base (I did not even want my money back just a replacement!!) I got a night full of attitude and disrespect. So either my tap water is full of chemicals and I'll probably die soon, or this owner has a giant hookah stem up her ass and doesn't understand how to properly treat their costumers. Another tip, they charge $20 to smoke hookah for one person and its $10 for any one other than that original one. You also have to pay $10 if you want to sit with your friends who are smoking the hookah even if you plan on never touching it. went to get a top for my ecig recommended by my friend. when i got there they did not have the 15 dollar unit my friend recommended instead i was sold a 25 dollar unit that seemed similar. after my purchase i saw that they were recently marked up with new stickers. they WERE the 15 dollar unit my friend told me about. how can you possibly justify a 66% markup EVER? you simply cant, and i was scammed.
