Found out in late April that lawn service was discontinued in March. No notice was ever given. When I asked the President of the company why no noticed was given to me and what was done with my April payment I got a very snarky response. I was a 5+ year customer and they did not even give me the curtesy of a notice of discontinued service until I asked about it a month later. I was told "you were called". Wow, what a disappointment! Our family has used Orange Park Services for 35 years on annual basis for our home bug service. Every early September we would get a call that we were due for a treatment and they'd coordinate with us to spray our house. we had the same person for over 25 years and she was almost like family. If we weren't home we'd leave the door open for her and she'd lock up when she left. I am Realtor for 35 years in the area and have referred many many people to them, as recently as this past summer. This year was different in that we had no call and bugs were showing up so we called on Sept 9 and were told Geneva had retired and the company was bought out. So we requested that someone come as it was time. We were told by Pam that someone would be calling us the following week to come out. We waited until the end of the week and when no one showed up we called again. We were then told they should haved called us but she will have someone call us . We waited another 5 days and called again. We were told the earliest they could "fit us in " was the end of Sept. We asked to have the owner call us. A young sounding man called us and was very argumentative, we were upset by the way were were being treated and he just added fuel to the fire and argued with us about when they usually come- not very service oriented . It went down hill from here and needless to say we are now looking for another service. The new owners apparently don't care about loyalty and must have enough business that they can afford to mouth off to loyal past customers for 35 years! I am writing this review in the hope that no one else has to go thru this. Orange environmental is not worth the aggravation and work it takes to get even sub par work done. We have been battling with them for over a year and they only give lip service as to what they will do. We were paying for 'premium service' and didn't even get their regular service. Our shrubs weren't trimmed, our grass was edged around beds to the point of actually killing the existing grass. Our beds weren't cleaned out, they tried to use edgers to cut back yard on multiple occasions which made my lawn very uneven. My front yard has ruts where they ran the lawn mower constantly in the same groove, which I now have to repair. In desperation after they refused to call back or even take my calls I fired them and hired another company. We gave them so many chances and Just couldn't deal any longer. They are really good in the beginning but it doesnt last. read more

If I could give a zero I would! My front yard was looking so nice in June and started deteriorating. I had to call every few weeks for additional treatments and every time they sprayed the yard yellowed and areas died. They claim this is all from fungus that is "controlled" but the areas continue to grow and now I have 5 large bare areas. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HAVING THESE CLOWNS COME TO YOUR HOUSE. What a waste of money. I paid them upfront for a month of mow, edge trim and lawn spray. The first week they only did my front yard and when I complained, they just said they would take care of it next time. Second week they did a horrible job and it looked like they didn't even drop their blades down to mow. The service manager just said that they needed to sharpen their blades and it wouldn't happen again. The third week they didn't even show up. I called and complained and got two different stories about what was going on. They eventually came the next day and because I was home and walked the yard when they were done, it looked good. This last week they left huge skid marks on new grass, did not drop their blades down again, broke my fence latch and left the gate wide open. The managers will not work with you and will just make excuses. They are unprofessional, terrible at their jobs and are rude. Treated like a Second Class Customer. I had them for two years. They were supposed to come out every two months to treat my lawn for bugs or to fertilize. Issue 1: Poor Customer Service. I could never get anyone on the phone. They didn't respond to emails. It took multiple instances of trying to finally get hold of someone. Issue 2: Service was always late. Instead of every two months, they were always late by one or two weeks and were gradually 'stealing time' from me by resetting the '2 month clock' from the date of service. Last time they were 3 weeks late. (That finished it for me). Issue 3: They would not come out and do 'one time' cut or trim of grass unless you signed up for regular cutting service. Positive Factor 1: LaDonna in Accounting was the only reliable person with the company. She is sweet and very professional. Positive Factor 2: They did improve the condition of my lawn over the two years. Bottom Line: OES is not worth the aggravation. Poor customer service, late service and refusal to do 'one time cutting' all contributed to my cancelling them. Take your money elsewhere... read more

I had a very bad experience with this company. Their lawn crew were working next door. I asked them to cut my front and back yard. I asked them to ring my front door bell to collect payment when they were finished. They never rang my bell. They left without collecting payment because they hit a pipe and left me with a Geiser of water running!! They left without telling me what happened! I have a flooded back yard because they didn't tell me they hit the pipe. I made several calls to the front office but no one has bothered to call me back. I am totally disappointed with the lack of customer service all around. ****UPDATE*** A nice plumber from Eagerton Plumbing helped call and made contact with the company. Orange Environmental paid to have the pipe fixed and I received an acknowledgement and apology from Sean at the company. My issue has been successfully resolved. read more

Not trust worthy, there are times where they don't do the whole job and at times skips weeks when scheduled. Have broken off sides of house and broken sprinkler heads. Be careful if chosing this company. I've heard others say they were good, but not in my experience. read more

Orange was very helpful setting up the appointment quickly and offering a no-pressure description of services and recommendation for treatment that they did right away after arriving at our house. They took care of our needs and concerns given we have children, and were thorough describing what to expect after service. We are pleased to see bugs are dying and no longer such a nuisance for us. I would not recommend this pest control company as they do not stand behind their work. My son found that stray cats had caused his backyard to become infested with fleas. This company treated the lawn and said the fleas should be gone. Two days later, his puppy came inside with fleas again. The company's website implies that their products are so good that you should only need a treatment once every three months. They are charging my son the same price for treating the lawn again. I wouldn't have paid them another cent for their inferior work and poor customer service.***A company manager came out and retreated the lawn. The company is standing behind their service. read more

We've been with Orange Environmental since the purchase of our house in 1993. The company has always treated us fairly and efficiently. When I ask for a special spraying they have always been there. For the last 4 years we've included the lawn service and it has also been good business for us. The crews always strive to make sure we are satisfied. read more

This has to be the best spray company I've ever had. The lawn technicians are very knowledgeable and treat you like family. They always knock on the door before treating the lawn. If there's a trashcan out or newspaper they bring them to the house. They'll stand in the heat for 20 minutes just talking to me. I give them A++++ read more
