Not bad...not great. We decided to go and check this place out.. When we entered the place...no one was there....no hostess...no cashier...no nothing. I wasn't sure if we were supposed to help ourselves to the froyo or what... since this was our first time experience. I was hesitant about helping ourselves to the froyo...but eventually some other people entered the store and they just grabbed a plastic container and started filling up. SoOooo we proceeded to do the same. My daughter was so excited to try all the different kinds of flavors, she ended up putting a little of everything in her plastic cup. Wedding cake, cheesecake and so on. After about 10 min...a teen girl emerged from the back and waited for the other customers to check out. We eventually made our way to the topping bar, added the toppings to our froyo...then checked out. Reminder: You pay by the pound. It gets expensive fast. After checking out...we sat at a table and tried the different flavors.. Unfortunately, all the white flavors tasted the same. The only flavors that had any taste where the fruity and chocolate ones. I am an Orange Leaf fan. I always find them in cities with little to no vegan options, so it's the perfect place to get vegan soft serve. This location had two vegan options when I went, a cherry and a pineapple. You can also swirl the 2 flavors. I really wanted some of that cherry soft serve, but I gave up sweets for lent, so maybe next time. They also serve smoothies now. The smoothies can be made vegan by subbing almond milk. I got the Wild Mango. It was good but too icy. I'd ask for less ice next time. The place is large and clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. read more

Whenever I go to this restaurant it's amazing! It's always clean and the staff is very nice while the food tastes amazing. Tonight, me and my mom ordered online on Door Dash. We decided to jokingly order a cup of ice cream with ALL of the toppings. For 59 cents, we thought it would be small cups but HOLY SMOKES! They did not sell us short. We got 8oz cups for each topping except for the sauces. It was really surprising and we had a lot of fun. I would add a picture but I don't know how to lol read more

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Mason City, Iowa

I was really impressed with Orangeleaf frozen yogurt today. This is a brand-new building in front of the Walmart in Mason city. When I walked in I was greeted immediately with a welcome to Orange leaf. The girl asked me if I'd ever been there before and if I knew what I was doing. I thought this was a very good thing because unless you been to a frozen yogurt place you might not know where to begin. They had two sizes of cups. Big and bigger. I took the big one but didn't fill it up all the way. Their machines were different than I'd ever seen before. Each machine holds two flavors of frozen yogurt. There is a spout for each flavor and then a spout in the middle that will give you both flavors like in a twist. Which is good if you want those two flavors together. They have lots of different flavors I never seen before. Pineapple, pink lemonade, strawberry banana smoothie, pomegranate and some that I've seen before such as cookies and cream and salted Caramell. They didn't have any coffee flavors which made me sad. They had more fruit flavors than they did chocolate and non-fruit flavors. I got brownie batter and cheese cake. The frozen yogurt itself was wonderful. It was more frozen then lots of other frozen yogurt places so I reminded me more of softserve ice cream. The flavor was great. They have lots of the standard toppings that you see at most frozen yogurt places. Nothing that really stood out that told me wow that's really cool. The place itself was decorated really nicely. They had cool custom chairs that were obviously made just for that franchise. They also have their own loyalty card. I didn't ask much about it or sign up for it since we do not have one of these where I live. Although I'm sure sometime when I'm in Mason city again I will stop back. What would've made this a five-star experience would have been more non-fruit flavors of yogurt. I'm a huge fan of the chocolate toppings and candy toppings and they just don't pair well with the sweet fruit flavors. Also I thought the choices of toppings were pretty standard and there wasn't anything that made it exceptional. read more

They had a wide range of flavors and the froyo tasted great. I enjoyed the ambience of the place. There was a lot of room to sit and lots of couches and chairs with tables. There was a TV on that was on the cooking channel. The cashier was fun to talk to and cool. But the toppings were bad, the Mochi balls were cold and tasted bad and the sprinkles didn't taste like they were suppose to. read more
