Waitress was nice and polite. Took forever to get out food, and there really wasn't that many people in there. Thankfully the kids played games while we waited. Been here a handful of times and this is not the place it was when it opened. It's really turned into a shit hole. Bathrooms were disgusting. I noticed most of the seats of the booths are split/ripped up. Water was leaking... (I'm assuming from the air conditioner) into the dining area. The past few times I've been there the service has been god awful. Last time the food came out so sporadic that my girlfriend had her whole meal eaten before anyone got their food. All my friends got their wings and I never even got mine. The waitress never came back to the table to see how we were doing or ask for refills. I want to be clear, I don't expect more than a 3 star experience from a place like this. It is a chain restaurant. It is a "mid-priced" wing and burger joint. So, I do not expect a fine dining experience. What I do expect is prompt, polite & precise service. The best part of the experience was the employee that put the bag down in front of me and opened all the boxes to show me what I ordered. As I said previously everything was correct. I told him how the wings looked fantastic- he agreed and recommended another dry rub that he thought I may enjoy. My order was a dozen dry rub wings, a side salad, and a buffalo chicken salad. Our group had 9 people and it took 30 minutes to get our drinks, and I actually never got mine until I said something 45 min later. Then all of our food came out 15 minutes apart, and again mine didn't come out for a hour. The rest of my group stared at me while I ate. Very unsettling, it made me uncomfortable to be honest. They hire cute waitresses at every chain, this one trends towards young just out of highschool types, very friendly but clearly it is their first job. Well for third time visiting this location I've been rudely ignored by staff. While i understand they were helping another gentleman that was there, they saw me. I'm really pissed at the shift manager "Hope" I believe was her name. While helping this other gentleman she looked at me and saw I was standing there! When she was done she just started to talk to the other children when she was done. There was a hostess at the podium where you walk in and she said nothing to me as well. He took another 5mins doing what ever and at this time my meal had been ready for more than 40 mins. He didn't show me what's in the bag and just dumps it in my hands. I walked away pissed and just wanted to eat my supper at home so I left. Drive 30 mins back to my home and suprise I'm missing 5 wings and there's no sauce and no seasoning on my wings and my wife's order is fine. So we call the store and talk to a manager she gave us a line of some bullshit of why it happened and she would talk to the staff about it and would send us some coupons. Best sports bar in Clear Lake and Mason City. Most of the bartenders and game makers are really friendly and will find your game for you. I've never sat at a table before so I can't say how the service is there. Kiera is the best bartender they have. It's a lot better than the Other Place in clear lake that's for sure.
