The past few times I've been there the service has been god awful. Last time the food came out so sporadic that my girlfriend had her whole meal eaten before anyone got their food. All my friends got their wings and I never even got mine. The waitress never came back to the table to see how we were doing or ask for refills. The food is good when cooked/brought out in a timely manner, but that has been a rare occurrence lately. Table service is the biggest downfall here. read more

I want to be clear, I don't expect more than a 3 star experience from a place like this. It is a chain restaurant. It is a "mid-priced" wing and burger joint. So, I do not expect a fine dining experience. What I do expect is prompt, polite & precise service. I have over a multiple year period given this establishment chance after chance to "better" only to be disappointed every time. There is almost always something wrong with my order. I always am waiting longer than I expected and when I do try and address any issues with management, most of the time I get excuses about why they can't help. The most recent was that she was a manager who was in from a different store Last night however when our really big pretzel was sent JAMMED into too small a biz so it had been broken into pieces and the pieces edges had started crusting over in the time it came from the store to our home??? Horrible experience here today! Ordered an online order a couple of hours before my desired pick up time. I arrived a few minutes after pick up assuming they would have the order waiting...nope. I had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my order. We didn't have an order for 6 wings. We waited 30 min more, and then were told that actually Door Dash must have picked up our order by mistake. when my husband asked for our money back we we're told we would have to call Door Dash ourselves. my husband called a manager, who said , "Sorry, that's just our policy, but if you want to reorder, it will be 45 minutes." Four of us waited 10 minutes to be seated, after being ignored by many. we ordered two appetizers. one appetizer came with one food order, which was wings. 10 minutes later two other food orders came. 10 more minutes the last food order came with the second appetizer. This way of serving is ridiculous. When a group comes in, they want to eat together!! Also, a huge complaint is the fingernails of the waitresses. they were two inches long and pointy. I called in my order and called back to add to it and when I picked it up 10 minutes later everything was correct. The best part of the experience was the employee that put the bag down in front of me and opened all the boxes to show me what I ordered. As I said previously everything was correct. I told him how the wings looked fantastic- he agreed and recommended another dry rub that he thought I may enjoy. My order was a dozen dry rub wings, a side salad, and a buffalo chicken salad. I don't even know where to begin. Worst service I have ever received that I can remember. Our group had 9 people and it took 30 minutes to get our drinks, and I actually never got mine until I said something 45 min later. Then all of our food came out 15 minutes apart, and again mine didn't come out for a hour. The rest of my group stared at me while I ate. Very unsettling, it made me uncomfortable to be honest. My family and I are coming home from a soccer game so we decided to order some food online to pick up as we passed through Mason City. We order 5 meals. All 5 naked tenders with a ceaser salad. It told us to be there at 7:40 and we were but we didn't get our food till 8 and they forgot to give us our sauces and 2 of our salads. Is it really that hard to read the order? We were initially put on a 30 minute wait with multiple open tables noticeable upon arrival. Information was unclear, staff was unsure of what the wait was and multiple other groups were waiting as well. We actively now have been waiting 105 minutes with no "text" from them saying they are ready to seat us. Would not recommend. Manager was noticed but didn't make any effort to come talk to many of us waiting in the entry way and wasn't bussing any of the dirty tables. Very disappointing. read more

They hire cute waitresses at every chain, this one trends towards young just out of highschool types, very friendly but clearly it is their first job. Well for third time visiting this location I've been rudely ignored by staff. While i understand they were helping another gentleman that was there, they saw me. I'm really pissed at the shift manager "Hope" I believe was her name. While helping this other gentleman she looked at me and saw I was standing there! When she was done she just started to talk to the other children when she was done. There was a hostess at the podium where you walk in and she said nothing to me as well. I had to say somthing to get help and even then i had been waiting for 10mins or more. When I was finally helped by one of the rude child like adults, (that had been talking to everyone else that was standing there ignoring me) finally helps me get my things, he didn't give a receipt. He took another 5mins doing what ever and at this time my meal had been ready for more than 40 mins. He didn't show me what's in the bag and just dumps it in my hands. I walked away pissed and just wanted to eat my supper at home so I left. Drive 30 mins back to my home and suprise I'm missing 5 wings and there's no sauce and no seasoning on my wings and my wife's order is fine. So we call the store and talk to a manager she gave us a line of some bullshit of why it happened and she would talk to the staff about it and would send us some coupons. Best sports bar in Clear Lake and Mason City. Most of the bartenders and game makers are really friendly and will find your game for you. I've never sat at a table before so I can't say how the service is there. Kiera is the best bartender they have. It's a lot better than the Other Place in clear lake that's for sure. Excellent service from Christina. The wings are good and service was excellent. They send out some good coupons and that is a great bonus. I think that this location has gotten better in service than what it used to. They do need to change the mop or use a nice smelling mop detergent cause it smells a bit soury at times. read more

The server for my family was a man named Lorin, and though I have had prior, less than stellar experiences here, this time was something special. Both my 7 and 9 year old girls were with me and super stoked after a weekend of museums and travel and he not only politely engaged and talked with them but managed to get both our drinks and orders in and delivered through a barrage of 'did you know this' about everything from snakes to leeches. At one point when he had a pause between tables he actually pulled up a chair and listened for a solid 5 minutes to my 9 year old describe her day and show him the 'giraffe' snake she invented. The food was good, the girls were super happy, and my wife and I spoke with the manager about how wonderful the experience was. I had thought to not return here and had not for several years, but will include it on my list of places to take my family again. read more
