That way you don't have to go anywhere else. That's a timesaver!

My insurance covered a portion of the cost and left me with the additional bill. It was not a lot of money but non-the-less they should have advised me of that before hand. I would have opted NOT to get the injection. It did not make any changes whatsoever in my situation and it was obvious I did not need it. Really feels like a money grab. Very disappointing. In addition, Doctors office is REALLY run down and unkept. Will not be coming back and would not recommend for a visit. Beware

I arrived on time…read more(early) for my first appt over a month ago & waited an hour to be seen by an assistant (not the Dr Serpa who was not even in the office) It is now my 2nd visit, the office opened late & it is nearly one hourly since my scheduled appt time. It is difficult to reach this office as they rarely answer the phone, disconnect/drop calls, fail to return calls or speak only Spanish. Jennifer, I believe, is the only English speaking receptionist & while she is very nice in person, either she doesn't return calls or isn't getting messages left for her. That said, DR SERPA IS AMAZING!! Once you meet him, it is obvious why he is one of the best in this field. Confident, Capable, Knowledgeable, Experienced, Caring & Trustworthy are easily associated with him. As one can see from other reviews, they are positive for the doctor however the consensus is that the office staff is the problem; even causing a loss of revenue. Hopefully bringing this to his attention will bring about a change.

I may have unintentionally left out other carers that I am not aware of. All the staff at Select Specialy Hospital in Miami Lakes are great. Side note not related to the Doctor or the people is that the aroma, air freshener of the office is too strong for me. It gave me a headache. As a patient coming in sick if you are nauseous bring a face mask. If you have smell sensitivity come prepared. I wish Doctors offices didn't have strong air freshener smells because it's not a hotel or store, it's a medical facility where people are coming in with medical things and allergies, sickness or taking medications that increase sensitivities. Theres a time and place for air fresheners.
