This church is a wonderful place for young people and anyone older looking to mentor people. This is not an in and out kind of church, this is a church that wants to involve everyone and make everyone feel known. This church is known for the outreach they do in the community, truly practicing what they preach. This is the church you're looking for if you're looking for raw, messy, true faith. It's not a feel good place, but one will talk about the real issues that we all relate to and need grace for. Everyone here will make you feel welcomed no matter what background you come from.

What a different experience than the traditional Catholic Church I grew up going to my entire youth! Eden feels more like a family gathering than anything else... Just look at the fun bounce houses they put out for the children each and every Sunday! -They currently offer two convenient service times (9:30 am and 11:00 am on Sundays) -They have the best Christian Band I have ever heard and they are all very talented! -They give you absolutely no pressure to join, but instead they encourage you to engage within the Community -They offer Eden "Kids" (with 3 different age groups) during both services so the parents can focus on Christ for an hour a week -They offer wonderful groups for everyone! Including: Men's, Women's, Mom, Dad, Youth, High School, College, and Alpha Groups! -They are involved in the greater Community by partnering with other non-profits such as Foster-the-Bay, CityTeam, CAPSV, & The Fellowship Inc. -They host many large functions all throughout the year to encourage Community engagement and the Fellowship of Christ. Community Christian Campbell is one of the locations of Community Christian Church, based in Morgan Hill. My family and I have been attending Community Christian since 2010 and were heavily involved in the launching of this Campbell location. Since its start, community involvement has always been a top priority, much like it is in Morgan Hill. Campbell Pastor, Will Sawkins, has a great passion for both teaching people about Jesus and helping them grow in their relationship with Christ, and being a blessing to the city of Campbell/surrounding areas. They host multiple holiday events and services throughout the year and also sponsor community movie nights at local parks. A booth can usually be found at citywide festivals as well. Pastor Sawkins, along with worship leader Austin Lyons and numerous volunteers, have cultivated a genuine church family here in Campbell. Ask most people and members of the city leadership and I bet they'll have great things to say about the group here.

Bayshore is an insanely great community. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by people who were genuinely interested in getting to know me. These people have become my closest friends in the Bay Area, and it's been an awesome experience growing spiritually alongside them. That's the thing. No one here "has it all figured out." And there's no pressure to be someone you're not. The services themselves are well-paced and focused. Gary is a great pastor, in that he understands how a "sermon of the week" will only get you so far. The community here engages in a variety of ways that include community service, home meetups, and prayer meetings. Bayshore is my second home around here. So if you're on the fence about the whole church thing, but you're sold on the idea of a community that feels like home, come check this place out! It's located at Old Orchard School in Campbell, less than a minute from downtown. Services are at 10:30am but you should drop by at least ten minutes before so you can talk to people and eat some free breakfast. Usually donuts, grapes, and bananas!

The young adults community is authentic, encouraging, and centered on growing in faith together. This is a church of people who genuinely love Jesus and care about one another. The messages are biblically grounded, worship is full of joy, reverent, and about glorifying God, creating an atmosphere to freely encounter the Lord. There are so many opportunities to get involved and serve the community. The kids + youth ministries and beyond are full of absolutely wonderful families. If you're looking for a church where you can grow spiritually while finding meaningful community, especially as a young adult, I would absolutely recommend checking VIVE out all over the Bay! Vive San Jose is our church home and we love being in community not only Sundays but throughout the week. I came to Vive when I was a new mom to meet other families with kids as we were the first of our friends to have children and now I help lead the moms group. There's even a parents lounge that's a quieter room for parents and babies up to 6 months with changing tables, a nursing area, bottle warmers and a play area for the kids! Bold Church has a strong worship team, and the sermons are powerful, biblically accurate, and very…read morewell-delivered. In that sense, it's clear that the church is rooted in Scripture and worship. However, from my personal experience, community was a downside. When I attended a couple of years ago, I found the church to feel somewhat "cliquey," with groups already formed, which made it difficult to connect. I eventually stepped away because I value genuine community where efforts to build friendships are reciprocated. Fast forward two years later, I found myself still struggling to form meaningful connections within the church. While worship and sermons are vital, community is also a huge part of church life, and unfortunately, I didn't feel welcomed or included. For that reason, I've decided to move on and find a place where I can both grow spiritually and feel connected relationally. No hard feelings at all, I truly wish Bold Church the best and hope they continue to grow in building deeper community. It just wasn't the right fit for me.
