Amanda and Colleen made it as efficient and safe as possible in helping me acquire a must have life skill. Amanda booked my appointment with DMV, and was very prompt in scheduling/rescheduling driving time. Colleen, my driving teacher, put a lot of emphasis on safe and defensive driving, took notes of what I did well/where I needed more practice, repeated rules of the road as necessary, and gave great advice and pointers- there were NO surprises on the test, and wasn't asked to do any maneuvers that we haven't practiced. Good luck, and my only advice would be to take multiple mock tests with the driving teacher, as it brings confidence and ease on the actual test!

I found Jeff T Lango through a verbal reference made in a class by an AARP Safe Driving instructor. Jeff taught me what the others did not; he trained me point by point how to do every task, everything to look for. I also take other precautions like using familiar routes, using controlled / lighted intersections for maneuvers even if I have to go out of my way to reach them, no left turns across busy streets, no radio, and other stratagems he doesn't teach, but his baseline skill set and clear detailed teaching was perfect for my needs. He filled in a lot of blanks; it's what I built my current practices on. I recommend him highly, not as an end point, because we are always learning, but as an excellent foundation for driving skills before you add extra rules to protect yourself from your own well known deficits.

We started off with an overall note of the mechanics involved and important safety features. This involved how to turn the car on and how to park the car securely. She thej demonstrated with a ride around. We got back and then it was my turn to practice. I was able to reverse and learned how to get out move in first gear and transition to second gear. Practiced this until I was comfortable. After that she also demonstrated how to go about higher gears and also how to go up hills. Overall time flew, thanks Nicole! Moving to a new area and starting a new school can be overwhelming. My child is a bit shy and…read morespeaks a different language at home, so I was initially worried about how my child would adapt as a minority in a new environment, but Mayflower has been absolutely amazing. My child tends to be an observer at first--watching from a distance until they feel ready--but once they are comfortable, they truly blossom. The teachers here have guided that process so patiently. Now, my child loves going to school and speaks so fondly of their friends and teachers. A few highlights of our experience: The Staff: The Director, Ms. Alicia, is incredibly sweet. She knows every student by name and is always updated on my child's progress. She handles my many questions with such grace and kindness. 2 Year Old Class: Ms. Alyssia and Ms. Lisa are phenomenal. Handling potty training and the "terrible twos" is no small feat, yet they remain patient, professional, and caring. Communication: I love the daily updates in the "KidsNote." It's so helpful to see what my child is learning so we can talk about it at home. Seeing my child laughing with friends or being comforted by a teacher when I go for pickup gives me such peace of mind. Mayflower doesn't just teach academics. The director Alisha, and her teachers Ms Leah and Ms Paige, cared so deeply about her and developed genuine relationships with our daughter. We also knew they would challenge her in the right ways while making reasonable accommodations and maintain a professional environment at all times. They care and it shows. NO NO NO. I Cant believe how much this daycare does NOT care…read morefor the children. Money is the only thing this place cares for. I just don't understand how you can make a 3 year old sit in their own poop all day! Yes, My daughter is only 3 , and they expect her to be 100% potty trained. They don't help her at all when she has to go to the bathroom! They don't even watch her, to see if she falls in the toilet. They don't even help her wipe her own bottom!! Obviously she is not an expert yet and she might need some help to clean off ALL the poop. But no.... She comes home with crusted poop stuck to her butt. Her butt is red and sore form sitting in poop all day! Not only that but they don't clean your children either. SOME HOW she slipped in her own yogurt ?? Why is she slipping in her own food !!??? She came home with crusted yogurt in her HAIR, down her WHOLE back and down her PANTS. They did not bother to even CHANGE her clothes !!!! I give the daycare extra clothing and they cant even change her !?? That is child neglect.....they should be caring for my children. Over 2,000 dollars for my kids to go to daycare and be neglected !? Absolutely NOT They will never go back there again.
