I'm giving a 2 rating because Paul can paint well (when he wants to). He also was good about…read moregetting in during a window of opportunity during the construction of our house... sort of. Paul initially gave me a very competitive bid, after reviewing my house plans and asking me a lot of detailed questions regarding the construction. Just prior to starting work, he showed up and immediately began telling me he was going to have to charge me more money. Claimed he didn't know a lot of the details we had discussed. When it came time to paint, he sent another painter to do the work. I think what he did was up the "bid", the just subbed it out. The work he used as justification for raising the bid didn't get done the way he said. His fault or the "sub"? The sub ended up getting let go because he was showing up late or at all. Paul kept finding reasons why he needed to charge more and make changes. I was stuck because of the narrow window I had with the general contractor to get painting done. Paul's work got worse as the job neared the end. Once he got the final payment, it got bad. I actually overheard him tell an assistant that "I don't have the patience or the time for this %@#&". Finally, we were down to some trim and finish work. He called me and told me that he didn't want to come back until all other work was done. I told him I had to move in the day after final inspection and didn't want him painting during or after the move. I ended up finishing trim and painting doors myself. That was for a job that cost about 50% more than the original bid.

After a couple mishaps with my original window cleaner of 5 1/2 years having Covid and moving away, however I am going to be working with him again thank God!!! I unfortunately stumbled upon three bears, he LIED about having insurance and waited till the day of to say oh he couldn't find his policy and then he realized his policy was not covering him and he needed to get a new policy. How do you do that when you have a business and you're charging full price like $500 for window cleaning? Please be careful with who you pick make sure they bring out proper paper work actually showing you that they have insurance and licensing that they are covered not just telling you they have insurance. I knew something was wrong because he was having trouble responding to texts and phone calls the day before. He's one of those guys that's really good at acting super nice and oh I'm just such a nice guy. Beware it's better to deal with people who are upfront and maybe a little bit prickly but they have their licensing, insurance and workman's comp together not just charging full price and Scamming people!! I feel really sorry for his customers that think he's such a nice guy and he's giving them a deal. Charging them top dollar and then not even paying for insurance and coverage. Who even knows if he's even paying his taxes to our government?? We are just dumb Americans, I guess ?

All the estimates were reasonable and what I kind of expected. My budget only allowed for two jobs now, and I'll have to wait a bit for the other jobs. They made the appointment for the job. They showed up exactly on time! Cesar was so flipping nice, professional, and fast! The painting was excellent. Really. So good. Then he was gone. This is how it's all supposed to be. I can't emphasize enough how refreshing this entire experience was for me. 10/10 I can't wait to do more projects with them.
